Nice! I played it on the PS3 and it was decent enough so that I would grab a PC copy. I never could beat the last level to get the 'good' ending. Ankh is also fun, but it uses StarForce :whistle2:(

We pay Cash In Advance for 90 % of our deals. Publishers also like that we can bury inventory in secondary places like Big Lots.

I was at Big Lots yesterday and they had a buttload of PC games but the only thing I picked up was Penumbra for 6$. They had a copy of American Mcgees Alice and silent hill 2, but they were both missing the disks. :(

I need to stop by their more often. Has anyone scored any Silent Hill titles?
 
Arrrrrrrrgh. Irritates the hell out of me my Big Lots closed down, some good stuff showing up. I do have a Half Price Books though, didn't you mention your company sold stuff to them as well, PCGirl?

Btw, pc games are always cheap, if you shop at gamestop or ebgames, not all, but most of them are.

the Silent hill box was ripped open and then the alice box looked like it was sealed but someone cut a slit in the side and took the disk out.
 
Went to BL yesterday, for the first time in about a year, and they were TOTALLY wiped. I've bought some games from them in the past, and found it weird that only had a couple real pc games. I asked one of the employees if they had any more computer games and she gave me this sad look like her friend named "computer games" had just recently passed away from terminal cancer. Wierd, they must have been robbed or something.

Is there a good time to find good games there, is it a seasonal thing? Do they get their shipments earlier in the week? I was thinking about going out to another one this weekend.

We ship Half Price Books tons of PC games. And I have a system with the buyer's assistant informing what goes to the stores and when. I'll post a few tonight. Should I do it here, or in another forum? Sorry. I'm new to this.

Hi Richard,

How this one was missed is that we only sell Big Lots around once a month. Tomb Raider Anniversary sold so well the first day that it there was too small a qty left to ship to BL. We have 207 left and I'll make sure they go in the $ 6.00 assortment in February. Hopefully, one will make it to your area.

We ship five distribution centres on different days, and they then only fill orders from the stores as they need it. For CAGs we have tried create a system about when a store gets shipped. But BL is simply too big a retailer to create such a system. So basically, there's no answer. A store could be without a shipment for 2 months while another gets 2 in 2 days. Sorry for this honest but disappointing answer. I'll do better next time!!!:bouncy:

Big Lots has pushed our February shipment to early March, and our March order to mid April. But at least it's 30,000 pieces of $ 4.00 and 30,000 pieces of $ 6.00 each month.:applause:

I've been looking for Monster Quest for cheap for a while! I will hit up my big lots when these ship.
 
The only video game my Big Lots carries is about 50 copies of Guitar Hero Aerosmith. The rest of what is in the store looks like it came from a garage sale. I think I live next to the worst Big Lots in the U.S. :(

About 20% of their stores are doing a test on DS, P2, P3, Wii and 360. The reason they're not rolling it out is shrink. Last time they tried it, they lost a lot. Bad news is it will be similair titles to what you see in Target's and Walmart's bin. Good news is it will be a few dollars cheaper. I think they might be going out at $ 13.99. I may be privey to the title list. If I am.....I'll post it!

We're getting Europa Universalis III Complete. I'm going to ask the rep if he can squeeze this title into the March and April shipments. Otherwise, I'm sure it will go into May. Obviously, it'll be $ 6.00

Should I continue with these type of posts? Sometimes it'll be one title, sometimes it could be a few. I'm just hoping someone might be sweet on a game and about to buy it for more money, and now they can wait until BL gets is. Whadaya think?

I can say as someone who has lurked on this thread for a while, I would appreciate any sort of updates that are given be it a single title, multiple titles, or regions.
