A: No one knows but here is a prediction list based on release / leaks in the last few years to give you an idea of possible release dates.

Q: When are stores open?
A: Look above for store times located next to store ads.

Q: Can I price match on Black Friday?
A: Price Matching differs from store to store. Here is the list of stores with if they PM or not on BF. You can also go here for further explanation on BF policy per store.

Q: Does Best Buy's GCU stack with Black Friday items?
A: No. GCU does not stacked with Black Friday items. Best Buy does have early Black Friday sales if you are an Elite / Elite Plus member. Sometimes it has shown to work within the early minutes of those early BF deals popping up. But it's YMMV.

Q: Does GameStop's Elite and Elite Pro stack with Black Friday items?
A: Yes but only for used items that will be in the ad.

I'm leaning towards waiting for a likely $399 BF deal that doesn't require an additional purchase. Also, I try never to buy games at full retail. Backlog and such. After buying RDR2, it's really only a savings of $40, although you would have good trade-in value for the game for awhile.

If you’re a Costco member you can probably get an X for $399 right now. My store has them for that price, some other stores have the X bundled with 2 games for $489.
 
I bought about $51 worth of toys pretax on Sunday and there was no automatic gift card. Manager came over and had no idea about the promo. Never seen the scan I showed. She still adjusted $10 off which I was amazed about but not sure how this promo is supposed to work. And I did make sure to do all this before scanning the 25% off toys, weird

I would expect the Kohls ad leak any day now -- should give a big clue as to what the console deals will be like this year.

Did you 51 dollars pretax include any of the excluded toys? That would put it below 50 dollars. I'm looking at the coupon right now. Excludes any lego, video games, nintendo labo, imaginex toys, Jurassic rex(whatever that is), and 3 other specific toys
 
I'm just curious if there will be any Switch sales - SSBU, Pokemon and D3 bundled for $359 makes me think no - and if Sony will hurt Pro sales by letting Slim go for $149 BF. Assuming Sony knows when PS5 will launch, at what price, and whether it will be BC or not. 

Only game I'd really like is a "Complete" XC2 but Nitneod will probably release a XC2 Starter for $60 with stickers instead. :p

 
Black Friday leaked rumor bundle. $200 for a PlayStation 4 Slim 1TB Spider Man Bundle. Was for sale earlier today (Oct 30) for $200 and was likely a leak as today was also when WM showed multiple BF preview items. Item has since been taken down.

That is a pretty good deal! I mean, I have a pro and spider man so absolutely worthless to me but good nonetheless.
 
Because I like doing some research, here is all I found out about the spider man bundle.

  • It's already in some Walmart stores inventory system. No store has it in stock though.
  • Here is the UPC 711719518808. The SKU is 579371947 at Walmart.

  • It's MSRP is $199.99 so that means it is must likely a Black Friday exclusive item. That means it likely won't be discontinued after Black Friday though you may still be able to find it in stores. Think of it like the Super Mario 3DS XL Black or White Bundle, GTA 5 PS4 Bundle or Splatoon / Smash Bros Wii U Bundle, all of which were sold at their given MSRP price and immediately discontinued.
    When scanned with the Target app it shows up as $299.99 though but has no listing on Target.com.
  • The console will come in Black as appose to the PS4 Pro Spider Man Bundle which is Red.

I want to know if we're getting backwards compatibility, cross gen, new gen ports, etc. So this is going to be my least active Black Friday since the PS3 to PS4 transition. I've been saying the same thing about this gen, yea we're still getting a few nice games but, I'm ready to move on and I'm crossing my fingers that these backwards compatibility rumors with the PS5 are true.

 
I swear I just want an Xbox One S bundle or not for backwards compatible. And maybe a larger monitor but I'll live if I only get the console.

Maybe one of those will happen. Maybe none.

I got the S for like $189 new this summer. I’m sure we’ll see bundles where the S is lower. Getting a used original Xbox One seems like a bad deal for $100.
 
A year and a half ago Walmart regularly had a 500gb Xbox 1 S units that came in a black color scheme and came with a game for $200. It wasn't a BF price. Just a regular price for months and months.  It was a real head scratcher when the big "BF" deal on a Xbox 1 s last year was just the bare white system for $200 with no game.

 
Thoughts on whether the RDR2 PS4 Pro Bundle still be around for BF? I know other games are due to release before BF. Just not sure what other official Sony bundles will be available.

$100 seems great. No way One S goes below $180 this holiday

They phased out 500GB and have been sticking to 299 so 180-200 is probably lowest they go imo
 
Looks like Kohl's has 3 bundles it's promoting as doorbusters with $60 Kohl's Cash this year. Says that they're available online as well.

Spider-man PS4 1TB Slim bundle $199.99

Minecraft Creators Xbox One S 1TB Bundle $199.99 (Also includes 1,000 Minecoins if anyone cares)

PSVR Astro Bot/Moss Bundle $199.99

Also states the standard "Offers and coupons do not apply" like it does every year.

Damn some good deals so far, damn kids eat up too much of my spare money these days though.  5 years from now it will be all about me again :).  

 
Man I'm disappointed with these "Old" 2ds tablets Nintendo tries to pawn off like it's a BF deal. They pulled this last year and hardly anybody wanted the Zelda 2DS. It sat on shelves forever after the holidays.  I wish they would go back to doing the "New" 3DS mario  black/white editions for $99. For $20 more, they were a significantly better deal. I still regret not getting one a couple years ago. The XL is just too big to keep in my pocket.

 
Target ad posted. A bit predictable. Detroit for 25 and Forza for 35 are both on my list, but hoping they're cheaper somewhere else.
 
I just saw the black friday ad from Walmart, it's laughable that they announce the switch for $299 as a black friday deal when it's been that price all year.

Everyone knows PS4 pro is just too underpowered no matter the price..... even for those without a PS4, the 199.99 black Friday price for slim model PS4 would be far more attractive.
