Same here, would never have seen this if you didn't post it. Some people on CAG are just disrespectful. I actually preordered this at Gamestop today cause I didn't see any deals for it, is it possible to cancel a preorder and get your money back? I paid it in full.

Nice, just cancelled my Amazon order ... still can't believe they didn't offer ANY incentive (the Blimp is offered at every retailer ... it's not special).

Yeah they'll let you cancel but they'll try like hell to get you to put the money onto something else....

This is actually a pretty decent deal since BB nuked their 'buy GTA V, get a R* game free' deal due to the abuse it received. Of course, if you pre-ordered at BB a while ago and are a member of their Gamer's Club Unlocked you're getting a $20 RZ certificate. So it's like paying $40 for the game at launch pretty much.

But still this is a decent deal. Hopefully TRU doesn't pull it or change the terms like they did on the 3/$30 deal recently.
 
It always happens with this huge releases...no offense intended but:

1. Stand in line with hundreds of teenagers raging about what they're going to do when they get the game (no discount offered) at Gamestop OR

2. Casually walk into ToysRus and ask for game (usually without a line)...and get a good discount.

Except you can't really count the $20 game as a discount. You can count the $10 gc as a sort of discount, much like people do the RZ certificates for pre-ordering and purchasing GTA V at BB. But without a trade-in program at the moment TRU is an all cash purchase pretty much, which is another factor some people look at when buying games.
 
Does ToysRUs do midnight launches for games?

I may just go that route.

I was thinking of going to a Walmart at midnight and just walking in without a pre order. It's GTA V, I dont think I could any longer.

For GTA? Most definitely there will be a midnight launch. It's arguably the biggest release this year.

 
Anyone have a list? I assume GTA IV vanilla, GTA IV: Episodes From Liberty City, LA Noire vanilla, Midnight Club CE, Max Payne 3, & Red Dead Redemption vanilla, & Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare are going to be the choices?

True at least GS is giving a free B2G1F coupon w/purchase but only for the preorders.

 
Yeah it's all going to be programmed into the registers. Just grab whatever $20 RS game and the register will have the cashier scan a promo GC for the $10.

Also to note the TRU promo gift cards have an 8-hour delay before they can be used.
