Flesh, we'll be glad to see you again! But don't stress out if you can't make it (although I know it's hard to live w/o us ;) ) .

Also, John, I have said that on many a night, when there are the screaming, whining 12 year olds (or horny 20 year olds) I am SO glad to have a group to be with and avoid them!! :) Just shoot friend requests to the regular posters on here and you'll get grabbed on by someone, but don't forget to include CAG somewhere in the request! :)
 
Don't worry, Shan...I'm a relatively old married man, and I don't get much use out of the word 'Homo,' so I'm quite placid.
 
We had one of those 12 year olds playing at 4 this morning. I guess that explains why his entire vocabulary was made up of the words "Homo", "Gay", "Rape", and "Douche".

I don't think that ownership can be transferred, but I do know that one of us should be in charge of the COD5 list. I would be perfectly willing to do it.

ATTN: Shanna (since I said I'd be back on after the gym) and anyone else who may be expecting me tonight (AKA people from last night's Gears game): I got invited to a birthday barbeque thing in Perris for friends I haven't seen in 2 months, so I'm going to that. I'm staying overnight. You may see me on at some point later on Gears or GTA IV, so I still may be able to play, but I can't say for sure.

As my first order of business I will spend billions of dollars to pay for a flying nearly extinct bird that plants nuclear claymores ;)

Sorry everyone I was in the middle of stuff on Head Coach and my 360 froze again and I lost another blowout in my favor! I wonder if my system is crapping out again or what.
 
Haha! That was a great night of COD...wait...er...wrong game! ;) Had fun playing TF2 tonight guys!! The best was when Chase snatched out the victory with only a couple seconds to spare on that one map!! :) What a champ! (although there were many other exciting moments and acts of revenge that I enjoyed as well... !).

Same thing happened to me with that intelligence capture...well, not really...as I approached the desk to win the last point of victory it was stollen from my clutches by mere steps as the other team :)twisted: you know who you are) captured the briefcase on their side... sniffle :cry: .... in this case it was actually "no, no way" .

You should have died you bastard.....I set your scout body aflame :hot: and I was just "No way!" as I watched you capture during the kill-cam and not die :bomb:! I swear I must have missed that guardian angel hovering over your shoulder.
 
I'll be online tonight for some COD. I've gotten in a rut so I had to take some time and play some other games. I love COD, but it's fulfilling to actually beat some games instead of slowly rank up over and over. Next time I might pull a Chase and NOT go prestige since I'll never have the time to fully rank up. 90% of my gaming time has been COD online and I'm only halfway through fifth prestige. BTW, I beat both Conan and Uncharted in the last week instead of playing COD and let me say two things. First, for those of you who have a PS3, it's a must have. MGS4 and Resistance will probably collect dust until I beat Uncharted at least once more (Play the Hard level as Normal is too easy and doesn't unlock crushing difficulty). Second, I got Conan in the Blockbuster B1G1 and it is the most underrated game I've played in awhile. Maybe after I play God of War I'll think less of Conan since all the reviews say it's a poor GoW clone, but aside from the blasphemy of Conan being able to use magic it's a really fun beat em up.

Anyway, I was off work last night and saw everyone get online, but I was engrossed in SC4. I was gonna join in after I saw everyone get online @ 10:30 (do you all plan that, it was one "player X is online" notice after another! I think I went from 2 friends online to 12 in a matter of minutes.) and the next thing I knew it was 3AM. Tonight will be a definite for me, though. I just hope I'm refreshed instead of rusty.
 
Well... I finally made the dive on Madden today and picked up Too Human along with it for the Buy One Get ONe 50% Off at TRU... Too Human will probably go into my back log of 20 something games that are now collecting dust due to my love for COD4.

I may go back later this week and pick up BF:BC and The Orange Box as well so I can join you guys in those... I would love to play some BF with Chase and kill Joe in yet another game.

Planning on picking up BFBC and Too Human myself after work but still uncertain about BF given I haven't seen Joe/Chase/Khondor playing recently.

I actually almost made one about a month ago...

I should possibly be on a for a little bit early tonight. I think I'm finally over the waking up early blues. I am waaaaay bummed about having to miss the USA/Argentina basketball game tomorrow though.

Oh, and seconds on playing Uncharted. Excellent game.

I think I may finally be starting to get the hang of TF2..... a little bit, maybe. I enjoyed sniping last night. It isn't the greatest all around class but it was fun to do.

TF2 games aren't something I will get into full time though. The game times are way to variant for my tastes. Some games last way too long and others seems to end right after they start. There was a game last night when Khondor went scout, raced to every checkpoint killed everyone and the game was over. But another one seemed to drag on forever. I like things in the middle.

Yeah, this is why I'm a fan of COD4. Everything is settled in 10 (or 20 if you sabotage) minute intervals. TF2 is fun and all, but when you're doing the same thing for an hour it gets boring quick.
 
I've had BFBC in my Goozex line almost since it came out...I'm still #29 ish. :)

Haha; and yeah Darktower; our side did not appreciate your sniping as much ... ;) ! The games are so completely varied (which I really enjoy), but it also depends on the people playing. If everyone goes into defensive mode, then it just becomes a game of waiting, if it switches to offensive mode, it can be really long or really short...!

Either way, it's fun to set you people on fire and stab you in the back ;) !

I usually play it before or after what ever we play. Usually in ninja mode. I missed feeling like a savior, so I intentionally lured a team mate into a line of fire just so I could kill the enemy killing him. :whistle2:# Terrible, I know, but I got my Savior bonus! Hehehe...

Im 9 months in and my box RROD'ed on me during our Thursday COD4 session.
Do you have to send in the HDD when you send the box for repair? cause there is no way im going 3-4 weeks without it. I'll just buy a replacement/backup system to tide me over

I read that Microsoft "Repairs" only wants your system. No cables, HDD, or... cables. Just the system.

Time to find a back up system to tide you over until yours returns! I still reckon they should provide a temporary replacement like they do with cars!!

If I had a Wii (the Nintendo game system; meanies), I think that would drive me a bit more loopy.

For now, I'll just catch up on Burn Notice, keep up with Big Brother, and do some graphics work. Possibly read some of my library's backlog (manga, literature, comics, etc.). Hey, maybe I'll even find myself a legitimate fling. It's been a few months without any action. It could be amusing.

We'll see how crazy things get after I exhaust my entertainment options. :cold:
 
Uh oh...chase's died at 8 months and Khondor's at 9 months. I'm coming up on 10 months in a week or two. I sure hope I don't complete the sequence...

My 360 almost RR'd as well (I think)! While chatting with ...an unnamed 360/PC-jinxer... my screen went black, the controllers wouldn't sync up, and I just couldn't get and audio/video off the mutha for a good 5 minutes!

Anyways, Matt, my retirement from COD4 is still valid, but like Hulk Hogan and the Rock, I only appear at Wrestlemanias and other Pay Per Views...like CAG COD 4 THURSDAYS! :)

I think my 360 is going to crap out soon too. It's been getting louder everytime I turn it on, Right now it sounds like a 747 is taking off from my entertainment center when you press the power button. Plus it freezes a lot!

I think COD4 Thursday was just cursed all-around. My cable and thus internet connection died last night, which is why I left the game so abruptly. Didn't come back up until this morning.

We've got a spare room for you Chase and the wife thinks Asian girls boys are cute. You two can play with her Hello Kitty figures.

Also, you need to pick up a PS3 (the 80GB is now $399.99) and pick up MGS4 for some MGO action since everyone has forsaken it (I'm looking at you Khondor, Hamster, and Simon :whistle2:x)

Simon, my 360 has done this on several occasions in the last month or two. I'm thinking my 360 is probably the oldest un-serviced one around these parts since it's a launch system still chugging along. Not sure if it's luck, lack of play (see my gamerscore), or what but I have my system and power supply in a well-ventilated area and vacuum the vents on both every other week. Now that I've said this I fully intend my system to Red-Ring next time I turn it on. Speaking of, one of the Target's 360 near my house was red-ringed yesterday. I think Cheapy needs to add a RROD smiley.

Sucks to hear about Chase and Khondor!! I am going to pick up a new system if the new chips do indeed solve all this crap but everytime a new chip comes out it is supposed to solve it and they haven't got it right yet. When they finally do I will get an elite for the hdd.

Burn Notice is a worthy use of your time off Chase. I absolutely love that show. it is one of only a hew shows I catch regularly.
