Geez, sorry to hear about that, Chase and Kondor. I've had my 360 since it launch. (God, I hope I didn't jinx myself!)

I'd be up for some Resistance on the ol' PS3 with you and Fleshribbon.

Sorry I missed you last night, fleshribbon. I was playing the Force Unleashed demo, and I though you'd still be on for a bit. When I finished, though, you had called it a night. I'll have to catch up with you next time.
 
Sorry I couldn't make it last night guys! I was too busy jazzing it up at a jazz club and attending a Bday party for some friends (and watching Tropic Thunder... :p ) .... altogether a long night!

I may or may not be on tonight but will definitely make a reappearance by tomorrow at the latest!! :)

PS: Hamster, I got on around 3am MST, but you'd already left for the night! ;)

Don't worry about it. I thought I was going to be on later too but the wife reminded me I was going to be driving her about 4 hours this morning to and from San Antonio :cry: Catch ya next time.

Yeah, I don't do too much gaming at 5:00am anymore...

I was just playing a little hardcore for an hour or so and I swear every game I was in I was put on what I dubbed "team fucktard." Basically every game there was only one other person over 10 kills on my team and positions 3-6 on the leaderboards were full of fun K/D like 4-12, 3-16, 0-7. I went 24-2 and we just barely won that game. I would join games in progress with 0-0-0 and start in third place.

The moral of the story is I miss you guys.

This may be optimistic, but does anyone play before midnight? Also, just fair warning, I'm capable of having a really good match only 1 out of 8 or so matches. Otherwise, I'm pretty new and average to COD. Ultimate apologies beforehand.

Ultimate apologies having been established, you cannot give me shit for poor play later. HA! :)
 
When I hop on, I usually do so around 10-11 pm EST. I pretty much only do the Thursdays now though.

And your skill level is probably better than mine! There's no worries about skill in the CAG CoD4 matches. We all just play to have fun. Some are very good and some suck (like me!). It's all good.

Yeah, I pretty much play exclusively before midnight during the week now thanks to early classes at school. CAG COD4 play has really dwindled down in the recent week or so thanks to two prominent regulars red ringing and various other events.
 
Mr. Ketch, I usually get on between 10:30-11pm CST. Very occasionally a little earlier. Me and Heart play COD4 fairly regularly (read ~daily) along with the two aforementioned red-ringers and Shan lately. Throughout the week various others show up when not playing other games. You can send me a FR if you so desire.
 
I'm normally not on until late except on rare occasions (such as a couple hours on weekends, etc.). I have never been given a hard time (yet) about my lack of skill, so I think you'll be ok! ;) If you see us on, just shoot us a message to invite you!! :)
 
John, most people seem to play before midnight central time, since when I would be up late, everyone would be signing off by the time I got on. Some of us stay around longer, or get on later, but you should be able to find a group.

Chase, you may want to check the email address associated with your Live Account. Many times now M$ is just sending you a UPS 3-day label via email and you have to box the console up. I still got a coffin with mine, but not everyone does anymore.

I never really wanted the Gold Cross... I think it looks ugly and I hate just hearing all the shit that comes with it. I would rather rape with the Red Star than get trashed for having no life... (Which I actually am doing pretty good time-wise for my total XP considering I never play S&D)

i have it to where i can only hear friends now on the account i still play CoD with, so i don't have to worry about the trash talk. even still, i thought i was going to stop before hitting the 10th prestige (i like the 9th symbol as well), but i just felt like i couldn't stop until i actually finished leveling up again. maybe it is just how i am, but i felt like it had to be done.
 
Is anyone going to be playing this tonight? believe it or not I think I'd like to take a break from score-whoring and actually try to get to a point where I could prestige in CoD4, if I ever decide to do so.

Yeah, I signed on at around 1:00am eastern and everyone was doing CC too. However, one message to Fleshie and everyone switched over for the hour I played COD4.

I have amazing persuasive powers apparently... or maybe Castle Crashers just sucks...
 
Ahh... fuck me running... I purposelly got out of work early to go to my brother's house (who I am dogsitting and housesitting for this weekend)...

I went home and got my 360 and then my dad informed me that I may not be able to get to my brother's house as he had just been there and someone across the street had barricaded himself inside with a gun and there was a stand-off...

I got my hopes up and then left hoping to see someone get shot... Well I got there about 2 hours after my dad had left and there was nothing... No cops, no more S.W.A.T. team and no mother trucking power supply or a/v cables to play COD4. The night ended up being a complete waste as I watched Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, and I didn't get to go ape shit on anyone in COD4 or across the street.
 
Hamster...CC is AWESOME (don't be jealous ;) ... just get the game ) it just has the most aweful connection to get people joined up on LIVE ever!! We spent more time trying to load everyone into a game than actually playing on some occasions!! :bomb:

MVP...that stinks!! All that adrenaline build up and no outlet ;) ! You'll just have to do an extra lot of COD killing this weekend!! :D

PS: Yay to my new computer that is not burning me/crashing on me (so far...). :bouncy:
 
Haha, yeah I watched the tail end of Obama's speech too. I've been feeling super American all day. Like, go out and fight the terrorists single-handedly while holding hands and singing with my gay and lesbian brothers kinda patriotic.

MVP, I'm sure you could have helped diffuse the situation had it still been going on when you got there. Just chuck some C4 in the window and hit the right trigger. Problem solved.

Ninja, I knew I screwed myself when you guys told me Chase and Khondor's xboxes went tits up and I said, "Wow, I've been lucky. I've had my 360 since launch."

Dang it... I missed the return of Khondor last night?!?!?! On another note, I probably won't be on tonight because my brother's internet was being a biatch this morning... I usually have unhook the computer and then hook up the 360 to play at his house and I tried this morning and had no luck.

At least I lightened the mood with pictures! :p It was fun playing COD4 for the first time in weeks. Sorry for making everyone laugh at you expense, but it was all in good fun. When was Khondor on?
 
Khondor made a brief but lasting appearance earlier in the evening! ;) He came, he killed, he left... :boxing: . It was a lot of fun playing and we all enjoyed the photos Matt :whee: ! Most of the teasing was fine (and probably deserved O:)) ; like not knowing the team colors for the nuggets... :cool:!
