If you think some of us are bad, you should see Swavage(Mr. 420, I believe). I invited him into the one Team Deathmatch I was playing against some other PSN friends and they were pissed at him by the endo f the match.

I mean, I use the SAME tactics too(run you down or knock you down with a car, then blast on you with the guns), but they are kinda used to me doing it.

Funnier is playing with alot of total strangers and listening to them(now that I have a headset)bitch about me running them over in a car. Meanwhile, they're all running along and trying to make it from point a to point b for a firefight in whatever section we're playing in and here I come barrelling and run them all over.:lol:

Oh and I guess I got my games mixed up, since I was playing the Cannonball Run like deathmatch the other night(sorry Randy). That was pretty bad, since I think I rarely get that many kills in the normal deathmatch mode.

What the fuck is 'Home' anyway? From what I've read and seen, it looks alot like Second Life or some Sims shit. Give me a free PSN game for playing tonight Sony and I might consider it.

But as it stands, I probably won't be home in time tonight. I'm going on a road trip with the gf and I plan on stopping at a further away Hollywood Video, assuming the current GC/Xbox/PS2 $4 sale is still going on.

But if I'm on an any of you see me playing GTA IV at whatever hour, send me an invite if you want. I'm almost always on late at night.
 
It should've been out over a year ago I think. Then again, the only avatar for PSN I'd like to make is my current one on CAG. Otherwise, I'd see no use for that function.
 
Decided to end a little early since there were only a few people left, but we had some fun games while it lasted. Hahaha @ everyone racing for mdamore during that last DM. Projectiles only would be great with a big crowd.

It's my new favorite way to play a deathmatch :D

It was a great night, albeit the small turnout we had... I'm surprised I won four games in a row though! Replaying GTAIV has really helped me with the driving problems I initially had. :bouncy:

Good games last night. I never realized you could just drop projectiles behind you while running by pressing the trigger button.
 
Damn, kinda forgot about GTA night.

Should I update the title for a game next week, or are people going to be busy Wednesday night because of the holiday?

I was going to make that a melee DM, but at the last second decided explosions would be more fun. :hot:

And yeah, I was shocked that you kept on winning, especially when you shot ahead of me in the helicopter race. The supercar race was a great three-way tossup the entire time, too.

Don't worry, xxx, there will be some grenades with your name on them next week!

Edit: Whoops, forgot about the holiday. I'll probably be around if people want to play. Anyone know if they already have plans next Wednesday?
 
If anyone is up for a second CAG GTA night, let me know, since I rarely get on to play it on Weds nights ever since I got Little Big Planet. I used to like the Sunday night slot, but I think Warhawk or something else is in that spot now, right?

I didn't get home until like 2:30 this morning and I was beat when I got in. Long day yesterday.
 
i see why the story portion felt so empty. the real fun is in the online game this is one of the few times i can say that my dreams abotu what playing a gta game online would be were above my expectations. btw are there ever going to be updated to the game on either the ps3 or 360 side of things?
 
They just announced the much-touted 360-exclusive DLC today, The Lost and Damned. Sounds like it adds new story missions for a new character, and a few multiplayer modes. Unless the new multi modes turn out to be amazing, I'm not disappointed at all that I have the PS3 version.

Also as some people mentioned, there was a 1.04 patch a few days ago. Did anyone figure out what it does? It definitely didn't fix the weird invite problem that I've been having for the last few weeks.
 
yeah doesnt sound to exciting but it could be cool. from the title of it i was hoping maybe itd be some kind of zombie story but i can always dream.
 
I've done some searching and all I could find about 1.04 was that it fixed some bugs.

And I'm not upset about not getting the episodic content... Who doesn't see Rockstar releasing an "ultimate" edition of GTAIV once the time frame set in the contract is up... Is there a time frame? :oops:
 
With Thanksgiving coming up and people possibly being out of town, I think GTA tomorrow night will just be some low-key free mode or co-op, unless a ton of people show up. If you're going to be around tomorrow, let me know what you'd like to do.

If there are just a few of us we could even try some LBP... Has anyone made a LittleBigTheftAuto level yet?

GTA online is tons of fun and metaly runs a really good group. (And when I say "runs" I really mean coordinate as he is very open to suggestions).

Co-op itself is tons of fun too but there are only three missions to do it on. They are all fun, I just wish there were many more. Team-based head-to-head is kinda like co-op with better AI. :)

If you play with the CAG group, try your best to have a headset as they are pretty ubiquitous with the group (and fun to use to boot!).
 
I should be up for tonight. I've got to drive to my parents' house early tomorrow morning so I don't imagine I'll be boozing it up this evening.

As usual, I'll play whatever...even some LBP, if we all agree to that.
 
I think I'm in. I might have a non-CAG buddy who might be interested. He's relatively new to GTA and the PS3 but we've been playing some co-op missions so I know he is getting the hang of it.

While I was spectating during Bomb da Base I was looking at some achievement guides for the co-op trophy and someone's put together a few videos showing how to do it. I might be up for trying that again sometime after watching them. All the unorthodox techniques the guy uses brought back fond memories of nights spent trying to unlock all the GoldenEye/Perfect Dark cheats. Even if you're not interested in the trophy, you should at least watch the end of the Hangman's NOOSE video for the helicopter landing:

I played some games with some random people this morning(Weds am) and the one shmoe kept trying to shoot Petrovic, so I ended up running the guy over repeatedly since I didn't know whether or not you could kill Petrovic with your shots.

I was kicked out of their game(they were game leader) soon after they chose to make a free mode game with friendly fire on and auto aim allowed and I kept bringing in helis and landing on them. :lol:

Somehow it never occurred to me to relocate Petrovic with the helicopter. Duh.

Every single time I've played Hangman's NOOSE we've used one of the armored cars.

I always thought the helicopters wouldn't spawn in other modes, much like they don't in Bomb Da Base and Cops N Crooks, but I guess I was wrong.

I played a Hangman's NOOSE the other night and I went off and got an attack chopper and came back to annihilate tons of NOOSE guys with it. It never crossed my mind to try evacuating Petrovic with it though.:roll:
 
I might hit you up on that offer Cheapest. I'd like to play some of the coop missions or just dick around. Griefing in GTAIV has so much potential. >:)

Yeah. I'm on East Coast time, though last night I only got on my PS3 for long enough to actually upload a few pics to it from the flash drive I bought with some cheap Blockbuster credit.

Other than that, I had close to zero interest in even being on last night. But if anyone does see me on later at night and I'm playing either GTA or Little Big Planet and anyone wants to do some of the missions/levels in co-op, let me know.

Just had a small power outage while I was doing the Snow Storm. :bomb::bomb::bomb: Not sure if I should start it up again or just go to bed.
