I never get that chain of "brring!" My turrets and airbots don't kill shit :cry: Instead, I love it when I somehow get 3 with 1 grenade or rocket. It's always a surprise.

And, yeah, my turrets/bots couldn't hit a bullet with the broad side of a barn.
 
I don't see why people still have a hard time getting kills with turrets... other than bad placement. People have gotten better though, I will admit, but I'm still not impressed.

I think a lot of people place them in a wide open area (Radec courtyard type area) and expect them to mow down everyone. I stuck to the advice of putting them on an elevated surface and found it to work out much better. Now it's the airbots I have to work on. There's obvious places to put them and I get a few kills here and there off it but I'm never a tactician for very long.. will probably be the last medal I get.

True :D Even when placed at elevated positions, I find them missing not more than a minute later. I think everyone targets them for easy kills :(
 
Tried to be on but was locked out since I switched clans after it was set. On the bright side I figured out some good sniping spots on other maps with the time I set aside to play
 
yeah, worst thing you can do is place a turret in an open area. You actually want to limit where it can shoot. that way heavy traffic areas it always goes after one target to kill instead of too many people.

and yeah, elevated ground is a must, but passable depending on the game type.

I'm at 1600 and I'm already tired. Your points are insane for the amount of kills you have. At one point, I noticed you had triple my kills but 5.5x my points :whistle2:( *bows down to the Killzone 2 God*

Yeah.. I wanted to dig in and get the honor ribbons out of the way this week, but I think it was just not meant to be. I think I cut off at about 2000 points and not sure if I'll play any today since I'm feeling burned out.

I wish 2000 points was enough to get all four trophies... Back then I still enjoyed the game. The last 3000-4000 points felt like work.

Got the top 10% trophy with 2046 points and ranked around 14300. I'm a bit disappointed I couldn't do better. It sure sucks to be a trophy whore :whistle2:(

Yeah, judging from the previous week, you would've needed around 6000 points to get the top 1%.

And I got to hear the greatest sound four times tonight. :cool::lol:
I was somewhere around 900 or so with ~7600 points. I didn't check in game (since I think that's the only way you can see the last week's rankings) but around 6:30 or so I was around 900 on killzone.com.

oh man, i just realized something when you guys were bringing up map packs. will the server be using DLC maps from steel and titanium? because i don't have them. :cry: i want them but i'm trying to save up money for something else.

Tomorrow's match will not be for the DLC, although we do plan to have one within the next week or two so those who did buy the maps can enjoy it with other clan members.

awesome... been waiting to play CAGs on the vekta cruiser. that level is so compact all fights get crazy quick.
 
I'll be missing out tonight guys. For some reason, I've been having the DNS error and can't connect to PSN. Anybody know how to fix it? I've been searching through google but I still can't get my PS3 to connect with people's solutions.

I've reset the modem, the router, and my ps3 in that order. Doesn't seem to work. Some people have said that I should manually enter my IP address, router address, and primary and secondary DNS, and that worked a few days ago, but for some reason the same problem is back. I'll try resetting my modem again.
