Actually, if at all possible I'd like to do it at 939-10pm est. As soon as the Jets game is out of reach and I'm hoping that happens before 6pm I'm running out the door. I have some basketball games scheduled 6-9pm est.

If the Packrs start blowing out whoever they are playing maybe we can get our game going at 3pm est?

Yeah 4 times. Servers are ass tonight. Disconnects 1-4 mins in every time. 4th try we tried a scrim and it's frozen now.
 
I would just say sim but it's not like anyone is going to get in games tonight anyways. I'll be up late so we could try in 1-3 hours. I'm finding out how early Matt can try tomorrow too.
 
My decision about whether to advance tonight will depend on how early you guys can get that game in. If you're both willing to try later tonight I can promote you to commish and you can advance once it's done. I really don't want to hold things up too much though since we only have two games left. I'm still hoping Ravens-Bengals can happen, but it's looking like they keep missing each other.
 
I told him to check in here. I can probably play anywhere from when this Dal/Phil game ends (11:30, midnight EST) to 3-4am EST. I can play anytime tomorrow really. I can start a game up until 5pm EST, not that we'd want to start it that late anyways.
 
Okay, let's see what he says. I'll probably just extend the deadline since as you pointed out the servers are crap anyway. It would definitely be preferable if it's played tonight.

Cru/Steggy - This gives you guys a reprieve too, I suggest you take advantage of it.
 
uber - I just promoted you. I can't wait up to see if this gets played, so please advance us once you guys finish your game, or if you decide you can't make it work. If the Bengals-Ravens get it in before you, great, but don't wait for that unless there's a firm time.

I'm setting a hard deadline of 5PM EST tomorrow, whether the games have been played or not.

Sounds good. Don't worry about getting him in for the Week 2 game, because then we'd have to line up a sub for Venom. Better to just sim it and let him take over Week 3.

Obviously it's not mandatory, but this site is so freaking awesome I don't know why everyone wouldn't want to use it. Also don't forget to write up recaps or anything, it will get boring quickly if it's just 2 or 3 of us active on there. ;)
 
Anyone want to take a crack at making a banner for the XFN site? uber, maybe you could just modify the one you already made for the other league?

I didn't even get back on after the 4th drop. Sorry; I didn't know people were waiting to hear from me. I have been waking up at 4 A.M., so I was tired as well as frustrated with the server issues. I thought we were just going to try again today, even though I'm not sure if it will work. The game froze for me twice. I believe one time, ubernes got a message saying I quit, and the other, he got one saying the servers were down. The other 2 drops, I was still in the game with the drop message on screen. He and I have played before with no problems, so just chalk it up to Madden wackiness.

I am supposed to play my game for the other league at 7 Eastern. Ubernes, when can you/do you want to try our game again today?

I wasn't able to get on the Xbox till just now. I'm supposed to play Cru in the NBA 2K11 league playoffs right now, but I might be able to reschedule that if necessary.
 
This is probably your last chance to get the game in, we're advancing at 5 no matter what. So I'd do that if I were you guys.
 
Alright, Matt is playing Cru now in NBA. Looks like they are in the 3rd quarter. I'll hop on as soon as I see it come to a close. I just spent the last 30 mins looking for my damn apartment keys. :( blah
 
The game dropped again. I am not as aggravated as I used to get over these things, but I am tired of trying to play the same game 5 times, and uber probably is, too. I say that since he held 3 or 7 point leads in each game, even if they were early on, and since he's generally done much better in Madden 11 overall, he should play the CPU or a sub unless it is decided that a sim is in order.
