I need to dominate one facet of the offense... nnamdi and huff can't control the entire secondary so I'll focus on shutting down the run so I don't have to guess what the offense is doing on third downs which should help us get the D off the field when it matters

The other part of that trade: Oakland is trading Trevor Scott - an 85 OVR RE; Houston is trading Kareem Jackson - a 73 OVR CB.
On paper it doesn't look very fair at all, but I think it is inclined to balance out in the long run...if you think over the course of at LEAST 3 or 4 seasons. Kareem Jackson is a rookie and seems to have some good potential. Glancing at our other league...it looks like Kareem Jackson is gonna have a ridiculous 96 Man Coverage after just one season, while Asomougha is going to decline to 95 Man Coverage...so Jackson is gonna be a better shutdown corner after only one season. However...we just started this season, so we had some pretty current roster updates, meaning Jackson probably didn't have the same base stats between the two leagues.
Again, if you just look at it superficially...Raiders are basically trading for a 12 point upgrade in the RE position while losing 26 points in the CB position...so that doesn't seem very fair. But looking at age, potential, etc. it looks a little more fair. I don't really have any problems with it.

I did say asomugha was untouchable. after my loss to the cardinals, I realized that I needed help on the line more than I needed him. if it pleases the court, I'll entertain offers for asomugha until the commish ok's the deal but for now, nnamdi for super mario is what's goin down

My internet is being teh shit (and not in the good way like the kids are saying these days). It does this sometimes, and this seems to be one of those times. I'm fiddling with it, but there's only so much I can do without access to the router (we share with the upstairs neighbors).

I think the issue MasterAwesome raised earlier in the disparity between the second player is valid, I need to take more time to look at the ratings of the players.
You're both free to field other offers in the meantime, there's no moratorium.

Alright so straight up screw this K1llsbury kid tryn to run up the damn score in our game, going for it on 4th down when up by 30 points seriously man? Sure i got a lucky break did a fg block when he was going for it and got fumble n a TD could really care less he had the game won the mofo just wanted another TD. And just toying with me instead of letting the time run out the guy shows a kneel and changes to a pass wooo go you man your cool. 
I don't see why you can't still send them last minute offers now that the trade is on the table. Deals fall through all the time. Now that the cat is out of the bag, send some offers.
As for the deal itself, I'd never trade Asamoomoo, but you gotta do what ya gotta do. I'd say yes.

This is the 3rd or 4th this season already, I'm not going to stand by while people play like jackasses. If he seriously went into a kneel formation and audibled to a pass, that kind of thing is not going to be tolerated. There are going to be consequences going forward for people who think they kind of play has any place in this league.

In my defense it was 4th and 1 and wasn't trying to run up the score. No point was I ever up by 30. Also you went for it 4th and 10 so its a two way street.
As far as that trade goes... seems good to me. I value younger players and seems equally weighted to me.
With that being said, looking for a speedy young WR. Anything on ravens is fair game.

about as indefensible as it gets... i dont think in the 10+ years i've been playing madden have i seen anyone ever audible out of a kneel for any reason. Even when the play is picked accidentally, either a TO is called or they just take the DOG penalty...... as inexcusable as me starting the season off 0-3
