You shouldn't have to, playing today is a perfectly reasonable request. If you haven't heard from him by the time MA comes back I'll have him boot the Seahawks and I'll sub for you.

I'm currently in the 4thString Madden League (www.4thstring.com) with Todd Zuniga, Greg Ford and Mike Suszek and we follow roughly the same type of rules.

I'm in Cincinnati and would prefer the Bengals, but will take any opening.

Look honestly I play the game for fun DON'T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONAL I'M JUST PLAYING XBOX sorry for the injurys but they happen and I wasn't trying to run up the score I took a knee on ur 11 yard line to end the game..... I think this is crazy to now tell people how to tackle and when u can dive.... I just enjoy playin madden and I like the league I dont do anything on purpose to hurt yall feelings what do y'all want me to do?? Smh

I want you to act like it's a friendly league. I can't tell you how to play man, you can play however you want. You need to decide whether you want to be part of a group of guys who have fun playing Madden together or someone who shows off how good they are by doing shit like diving into the endzone or continuing to run plays in a rainy game when it's obvious your opponent has conceded the game. That's your choice man, not mine.

So now I can't dive what's the difference between running it in and diving its all 6 points I just like the difference diving animations that's all and I am NOT the best madden player grand cru, sprice,ballhawk,doomtime,MA just to name a few all give me good games and u keep taliking about the last drive that I didn't score and took a knee to end the game...and if u was giving me the game u would of not been running 5 wide receivers on my 3-4 defense so I was just playing not even paying attention to the clock my fault.....and I enjoy the league and how cool everyone is and i don't disrespect anyone or call anyone out or out there name so y is it a big problem now....cause I been winning I'm not the only person that dives in the endzone and if this suppose to be a nice league y are u attacking me about diving in tha endzone and the way I tackle this is nonsense
 
It's not nonsense. Diving into the endzone is considered by many to be poor sportsmanship. If you didn't know that, I apologize for calling you out for it. Now you know.
 
Ok BV now I can't dive im pretty sure in a couple weeks it will be something else that someone does that will be banned like hitting the hit stick when already up in the game
 
Perhaps I was too quick to judge the Seahawks as crappy, they're not terrible, they've got some nice pieces. gg Superstar, Seahawks come out on top 31-21, but you had a nice comeback attempt there. Definitely a fun game. When Romo went down on the last play I was prepared to feel awful but thankfully he won't miss any time.

The Seahawks are a pretty good team to be honest. I messed around with them on single player. I like some of their players. GG to you too. I felt like I was never going to score against you in the beginning lol. You're good at D! I did enjoy the Sean Lee pick though ;) I am trying to get him more involved in my games.. even if it wasn't a user pick :p

Some time tonight the Cowboys should be able to put up their trade offers as there are a few and I am in need of a few key positions.

Just trying new things with those receivers. Wasn't playing to win, was playing to learn the pass and the 3-4. 3-4 didn't work out as expected. Got burnt every time.

I think the difference was Garrard's mobility, I am so unused to dealing with scrambling QBs that I didn't adjust for him at all. Superstar burned me on several long Romo runs in the Seahawks-Cowboys game too.

And hey! Don't tell me you weren't playing to win after you beat me, jerk! :cry:

lol. It would have been close either way if I ran my normal gameplan anyway. Always is. I don't know how mog, cru, deuce, and a few other guys stop the pass so effectively. My only guess is having a gameshark.

Only 5 left, we should be able to get everything in before we advance I think. Keep in mind if you're scheduling Week 2 games for tomorrow night that we have the draft in the other league.

iono about the other guys, but I played FS in high school so I go through my reads just like qbs do. I've developed a system of reads for when I'm playing on a lb... the whole last season was dedicated to that. all u offenses that don't run the ball, look out for the Raiders
 
Ugh, disgusting. Giants give up 3 points on D, the other 21 comes from two pick 6's (one TERRIBLE and completely my fault, and in Eagles' territory) and a punt return by shitball Jackson. D played great and I threw the game away by losing my offensive power I started so well with, plus throwing the picks.

Alright well I'm about ready to give up on the Rams, so would anyone be able to sub for them tomorrow at around 5 p.m. EST? Or maybe a little earlier like 4:30? If anyone is gonna be lurking in the forums around that time, I'll post whenever I get home. Otherwise I'll definitely be on by 5 p.m. EST. Remember....advance is 9 p.m. EST at the absolute LATEST! For the last few teams that haven't played yet, remember to post in here if you've made an effort to contact your opponent but haven't been able to do so.

Haha... thanks. You're not the first person on CAG, or even in these leagues, to say that. I've gotten a lot of comments like that since I was a teenager. I have done some radio stuff in the past, but nothing that earned me any money. Contrary to what you might infer from my posts, I can be kind of shy and quiet at times depending on the type of people I'm around.

As for Thursday, looks like I'll be going in for those tests around 12:30-1 P.M. Pacific time, but I will message the Chiefs guy upon returning home, as mentioned earlier.
 
Guys I just found out I gotta leave in about 45 minutes for something and I really don't know when I'll be back, so BV I'm gonna give you commissioner just in case. Go ahead and advance at 8 with a little flexibility using your own discretion. Since I only have like 45 minutes I'm just gonna boot the Rams and play CPU cause I PM'ed him twice with no response so I don't think he's coming back. So I guess Rams are open for now unless we hear back from him in the near future.

Yea, lol...my offense was horrible for most of the game. We were only able to sustain that last drive to kill the clock. Thank God for Desean....and Hanson....and Nate Allen.

It may be a while before I get this offense on track....I really wish whoever had them before me didn't trade away Lesean Mccoy and Jeremy Maclin
 
Yeah...but their styles are so different and McCoy's fits the offense much better. MJD fits better in the downhill, power run-game. McCoy is more edge run, misdirection and open field (which I prefer in Madden).

I ain't really heard much from cru bout the game but I was spost to be using arizona while there vacant.... I mean its not my team so I'm not going out of my way to play it so its on u bv.... at worst I can be home round 7ish but I don't know his availabitity and he didn't say wen I texted him yest so

Well the Rams PM'ed me back and apparently he's on a cruise til March 3rd, so whoever plays the Rams in the next week or so will have to find a sub. I remembered SOMEONE saying they were going on a cruise but I didn't realize it was him.

You volunteered to sub, so they're your responsibility as well. It's just as incumbent for the subs to set up the games with their new teams as with their primary teams. That's not specifically directed at you, just a general FYI for everyone.
 
We really shouldn't be held up over a game between 2 real-life friends who have each others' phone numbers...that should be extremely easy to set-up. If Cru hasn't made an effort to schedule the game then it should just be simmed I'm thinking...

Your call whether to sim it or not, though I definitely agree with the gist of your post.

The only other game on the docket is Colts-Titans, and I haven't heard anything about that being played recently, so I assume that's a sim as well.
 
I mean I did volunteer but there not my team so its really hard to say I really care that's its simmed but I did text him yest and he said mayb last night but he wasn't on..... I ain't heard from him today so it is wat it is
