CAG Warhawk Night [TBD]

Hey Mana - do you work over on PS3Trophies.org?? I read this and I swear you wrote it lol....

There is usually one overriding reason for a person purchasing a specific console. For the 360, some cite Halo or Gears. For the Wii, some cite Super Smash Brothers or Mario Kart. For the PS3, some look towards Resistance or Metal Gear Solid. I'm different. I bought a PS3 for one solitary reason... And that reason is Wipeout. Futuristic racing? Yes please. Weapons and crazy, ambient music? I'll take some of that. So it is with genuine delight that I report that the upcoming Wipeout game (recently delayed) will support trophies, according to TVG.

Hmmmm, I'm guessing devil worship grants one with crazy CTF skills,
on that note though everyone that plays on the public server make sure they're on SuperKing's team if it's a CTF match cause if you're not then pray that he somehow randomly explodes before he catches your flag. :lol:

We're all in trouble if Freaky can make his Warhawk solider look like Raphael.

Anyway. Good games tonight. This was my first game using the PSeye as my mic. Had to turn that sucker way down intitally, since it was even picking up whispers. But otherwise worked out just fine. No mic drops at all it seems.

I'm thinking 8-10 games tonight, 10 mins each. Maybe the last 4 games will be boosters, so I can carmegeddon you guys. ;)

I probably won't be there, but I think you should be all right freaky (I just hope I have the game info in the OP right).

I might have a Warhawk game sometime tomorrow afternoon or something (if people are available) because I know some who just got Warhawk and want to ease in (instead of playing on official servers and random games). Others who regularly play Warhawk would be welcome to join. I'm just debating whether I do it tomorrow or some other time (it will NOT interfere with GTAIV night).

I just picked up Warhawk myself and would like this. Haven't gotten to pop it in yet.

Good games tonight! Hero in the village was great. And I swear, I got run over more during tonight's Carmageddon Grinder DM than any other time. It was a dangerous round to be on foot.

Thought I would try some ranked games afterward because I'm so close to finally getting another rank, and somehow I ended up on a CTF server where everyone was apparently just playing TDM. :drool: In the next round, the entire other team just holed up in their base to defend. Those rounds are always fun. #-o

That was great last night, running over people is hella fun!

I sort of gave up on ranking up since I'm like 3000 pts away. That's a lot of slow boring game time...
 
I gave up trying to rank up lol - I need to get 4 warhawk machine gun kills IAR and I just can not do it... I suck up in the air lol. I am sure I have enough points for the next 2 ranks, but I am hung up on those stupid warhawk machine gun kills lol.

The key is to soften their health with a homing (yellow?) missile. That should take out like 80% of their life and finish them off with the machine guns.

Good games yesterday tho, I forgot how fun these small maps are.

That's the schedule. Boosters are only required on Map 9, out of 9.

I don't know... probably. Most likely.

I never turned my headset off and didn't have any headset issues. I think the issue only shows up after a certain amount of time.

Tonight was the first time I played a Hero game on a map with tanks. If the hero gets into a tank, everyone should just run and hide. :cold::cry:

Lag made it not appear to hit aihuman, but it did (you can tell because it appears to go through him) and TMK was too close and got caught in the blast.

Man, I suck at this game, and have no idea what the hell is going on, lol.

I kept asking you guys if you could hear me... but... I got nothing. You guys could hear me fine the first match though. Mana (i think it was him) said something about turning on and off the headset.. I did that but still couldn't get anything.

I did fairly well with the sniper.. but that was about it.

CAG night made the game more fun for me.. but i'm not a huge fan to begin with. That was only my like 2nd time playing it though, so maybe it will come with time.
 
If we had not stopped over in Disney's California Adventure today on the way back from LA I would have been home in time to play :(
