n8rockerasu, would it be possible to set up a system of sending PMs or some sort of mass message out when we have a fight scheduled? Kinda like the baseball league weeks? I've been running around this weekend and didn't realize I even had a fight scheduled. Guess it doesn't matter though because I haven't heard from my opponent.
Speaking of which, I'm around tonight to fight if you want to. I'm gonna be gone tomorrow, but will be back Thursday night.
Ehh, I really can't do that for this kind of league. There's just too many people to keep up with. I mean, think about what you're asking. Me sending out 30+ PMs each week, or each person being responsible for themselves and checking in on the thread every once in awhile. I understand what you're saying, and wish there was some kind of mass message thing on CAG (if I could have a contact list kind of thing, where I could just select "check all", I'd do it).
But the most I can offer you now is what Darktower suggested earlier. I set up a silver account for CAGFC so it's at least easier for people to do the "friend of a friend" thing and see if their opponent is online. That won't help with knowing that you have a fight, but it might make it easier to get in touch with people. That's the best I've got.
So finals are over this week and i'de like to fight again. I was suppose to fight Matt something but School and scheduling conflicts kept happening. I should be able to fight anytime now. I dont care if I have to fight my way up, Just would like some fights haha.
It's cool man. I know I was grumpy as hell during the tournament, but it just got to a point where it felt grueling and the entire league was being held up. But the weekly cards are a totally different animal. There aren't any hard feelings for missing a fight. You take your loss, and you move on. The league moves on. And everybody stays happy. As long as people stay active, they'll continue to get fights. Those who don't will fall to the bottom of the rankings, never to be heard from again. But don't worry. You'll have a spot on the card next week!
