I sent the league invite to Scp89 (I guess I probably should have done that when I asked him in the first place), so things should be able to go whenever now.

scp89/prinetime good game. You learned what I was doing after the first period and really shut me down. With a few more shots on net you would have evened me. Good game.
 
Got smoked again this time by Buffalo. My streak of playing the top 3 teams consecutive is finally over. Now I need to get some points to stay in the playoff hunt.

I've not played NHL for awhile so it was a rough return...My problem has always been scoring...
 
Great job getting all the games in. Looks like everyone's waiting on my game now, but I still haven't heard back, so I don't know when it'll get done.

Yeah as was mine for a long time (always had good D) don't be fooled by all theshots I had on you, I had to take a lot of bad shots and had to perform plan B ( Plan B is pass to my defenseman, take a shot and get long one timer goals or rebounds)

Some of you guys might remember me from previous Xbox NHL 2K leagues. I got an invite to join the league a few weeks ago, but it looks like that position has been filled. I just acquired a 360, or jumped in as you will, and I would be interested in taking over if anyone else decides to leave the league.

Good I finally got beat again. 5-3 good game ajh, look out next opponent I won't be happy lol.

Played a great game with the MSUhitman and lost 5-3. Was very close until the 3rd period and I just fell apart at the end. Nice game.
 
There's only two days left to get your games done, and only two games have been played. Try to get these things in. My game should be played tonight.
 
Good game flybrione. I tell everyone I play if you stop Tkachuk and Guerin, then you beat me. Tkachuk went off scoring two straight goals within a minute of each other in the 3rd period. I then got a lucky bounce goal for Guerin and a rebound goal by the center on my checking line to win the game.

Good news to tell everyone is I will not be moving back to extreme southern Illinois with no broadband access this month because of lack of a quality job and being able to pay rent in St. Louis. Right now I will be staying in St. Louis at least until the end of May and I have a possibility of a really good job I'm waiting to see if I get a second interview on.

Long story short, I'm good to stay in the league through the regular season. If things look bad for after that, I'll advise the league admin to look for a replacement if I make the playoffs.

Ok, I'm going on vacation April 14th-21st and also a week in August.
Is there a way we can play my game EARLY or at the worst, let someone take my place for one game? I dont think I can access the 360 for that week.
I would be willing to play my game early as long as my opponent can do the same.

Jagr, I was under the impression that the schedule isn't fixed. It seems like as long as another opponent is in the lobby, as long as you have a game still scheduled with them, you can play it out of order. So I suppose if that's the case, you could get the whole season out of the way if you can get your opponents in the lobby. I'm sure the league admin can enlighten us both on that.

Try playing your game early. Meet whoever you'll be playing in the lobby and give it a go. Worst thing that could happen is that I have to reset the game then simulate the results, but at least the standings will still be accurate. You play Columbus this coming week (play by date April 13), and the following week you play Atlanta/sighlintbob.

More than likely I will be playing guitar hero...again. I'll keep an eye out for the message and switch over to NHL 2k7 :)
 
Had a great game with Iceburgh last night that I lost 3-2 in a shootout. I think we got to the 8th shooter before he got one in. Anyone any good at those? We had a great game but the shootout was just plain sad :lol: .

I gave you the win for the week. Sighlintbob has been good over the past about getting his games in, so I'm trying to give him a chance this season.

Just lost to blackmagiic 3-2, real tense game. Good game man.

I'll be trying to contact silentbob for the game before I go on vacation. I just sent him a friend request and told him im going on vacation by the 14th, so hope to get in my game by then (wont be back in time before the deadline).

Edit: How is Ottawa and some other teams in lower places when they have more points? I'm confused.

If you look at the standings via the NHL2k7 league lobby when your playing I noticed a few teams having more points then others, yet they were lower placed.

I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think the in-game standings have ever really been correct. It's just another one of those things that the 2k people seem to have just thrown together. The website standings are the correct ones, and should be the ones that apply to playoff spots.
 
OK I've got a game tonight and I can't access the league. This is the 3rd straight week where I'm having issues. One of the weeks was when Live was down. I'm having bad luck.
