I know this is your first trade, jbake, and I would have PM'd you directly, but I'm still trying to get everything in order with advancement, potential draft times, etc. But we need to see actual numbers for Brandon Banks. There's an example for relevant attributes under the "Trades" section in the first post of this thread. For Banks, you'd want to include basic WR stats (CTH, SPD, RTE, RLS, etc)...but obviously, you'd want to include his assets as a return man as well. Just numbers to support why he's worth the proposed trade. Just resubmit the trade with that info included and we'll be happy to review it. Thanks!

*He is currently my number 3 receiver and I am looking to get a SOLID number 2 behind Johnson, right now I have Crabtree who doesnt have the development in XP earning enough to get up to what Welker already is at. I strongly believe that Welker will help my offense and take some of the focus off my Johnson and Daniel which will make me a more rounded Passer.

In speaking with Tiger he has a very specific gameplan which he actually laid out in the thread:
"With running a balanced offense i figure i only need 2 WR and 2 TE...and seeing how im sure alot of people would want wes welker i would be fine with dealing him if the price was right....i like to run a 4-3..so getting another defensive linemen would be key to my scheme...also i dont need 4 CBs and looking around the league alot of people dont have 1 CB over an 80 and i have 4 so again good trade bait...."
I feel confident about the trade we are sending to you guys is actually, now that I have looked at the numbers, is fairly balanced with the Texans sending 2 players, in Antonio Bryant giving him a solid 3rd receiver with his first 2 being Bowe and Moss as well as the DT tackle help he needed to help with his scheme. As the Texans owner I really felt that i didnt have anyone to really RELY on besides Johnson and Daniels who is my TE. Having a solid WR in Welker helps balance out my attack and gameplan as well.
CAP SPACE: 21 Million[/QUOTE]
Trade Rejected
Despite Welker's age, the trade committee felt that he was worth more than this. You can't really call it a "salary dump" either once you factor in the large cap penalty the 49ers would be incurring. Might want to add a mid round draft pick to balance it out.
