Different maps show up more in different playlists. Shipment is usually with a lesser amount of people. Showdown is always a rare map, I've found.

After playing for hours of this game I have in my own opinion come to say Call Of Duty 2 is way better then Call Of Duty 4. The graphics don't really blow me to extreme like the first time I saw the mass battlefeild fight in Cod2 with the crazy smoke effects. I loved the weapons from Cod 2 better also. I don't know either I totally am sick of Fps or some other people have to agree with me on this. Cod 4 is a good game, but not really as striking to me as Cod2 was for the 1st time.

Well, from what I've seen the best way for some to rank up very quickly is to play Headquarters.
The mode is similar to domination but the point you have to take moves all around the map after about a minute (same points amount for taking the point on each mode). You get 5 points for every kill and if you are on the winning team you are guaranteed 250 points if you started the match at the beginning. Plus, you can get round bonuses up to like 400 points so including any challenges you may obtain during the match you can possibly get over a thousand points in one match.

Reached Lvl. 12 on multiplayer, and I'm dominating with my M4 w/ Red Dot.
It's strange actually...the last 5 or so matches I had at least 6 more kills than the second place person! I don't believe I'm that good, but the M4 is just a beast.

My weapon of choice is the SAW w/ ACOG Scope (was using red dot with similar results). Reload times are a bitch, but damn does it clean up.

Good F'ing christ! I just went through the last 3 missions back to back on Veteran. I have not been so filled with hate for a games difficulty since Wolverine for the NES. Goddamn Infinity ward makes a hard game...Yeah so while Im writing this the credits for CoD 4 is playing - They have a ing rap song that pretty much is saying the plot of the game...Just said "This is Infinity ward shit!" Oh this is the greatest thing ever!

The graphics on this game blow Halo away. The single player on this rocks Halos single player. The multiplayer is hella good too.

Just wait until you hit mid-20's level, the sleight of hand perk lets you reload those guns in like 1.5 seconds.

I have played a bunch of matches today and am about to fire up the box again for more shooting. I am up to level 22, started the day around level 5 or so. It is pretty addicting.

woot, level 30 finally. ugh i need to stop doing my school papers and play this more
I've finally started playing single player early this morning. I'm playing on veteran and just finished up Death From Above level. I like the challenge so far it's really good EXCEPT helicopters are a pain in the ass no way they should be that accurate and deadly from far away when you barely peeking over a wall...
Gonna TRY to tone down my online playing I get on for an hour and end up on all night. Still gonna play but damn this came out when so much other stuff is begging to be played.

Last part on Heat is ing hard! Enemy AI on the field won't stop respawning until you hit the 2 min mark then after that you get no check points which is lame. MP is great, currently prestige one level 36. Only gripe is lack of recoil in the guns. 9/10 only moment your doing with RS is moving left to right. I wish they added recoil so you'd atleast have to pull down.

I was also stuck at that part, but I think if you move along the right side of the big field, you'll find an opening with a small tube tunnel thing in front of you. Then you run down and head to the far left.
If you do that, I'm pretty sure you'll meet very little resistence.

I just beat the game and while it was an intense experience, there were a lot of really hard annoying areas.
At the end where you're at Zekavae's mercy, I thought it was over for Soap, but as soon as the helicopter showed up, I was screaming, "I need a gun!" and as soon as I finished saying that, Price tossed me a pistol. It was so stylish.

This is a great game! I just got "The Shot" achievement and now only need the last 6 veteran achievements and I will have them all.
I would say that "The Shot" was as hard if not harder than "The Search". These two achievements have been the hardest thus far for me. Ofcourse, all the veteran achievements have been difficult and are a real challenge. This is a great game!

I dont have a chance to play that often, Im still stuck at the ferris wheel at One Shot one kill (on veteran) there's like a million guys coming at me on all sides, grenades being thrown around like party favors, dogs, snipers, assault rifles and RPG's on all sides and all ive got is an AK an 80 rounds of the sniper rifle, 2 grenades, and 5 claymores and a bunch of C4 in bad locations...Im screwed, I tried for the 2 hours i had time to play and everytime I got the point where Big Bird comes in...I die in two seconds
