So I've been playing that Snes Zelda game on my Wii, and its aight, but the continue system is ass. I was chilling in the first dungeon and got killed by some skeleton. I save and quit. Now I just turned it on again and I have to continue from either my house or some church which are so damn far away from the dungeon.

Why is I can't be in dungeon after load?!

Cause then it'd be too easy. You want that style of saving? Go play it on a ROM. :)

If it does, its news to me. I only got the game either last night or the night before when I was killing time for Crysis.

Bleh. I was hoping for what I thought was the traditional style, where you just start at the beginning of the dungeon, not across the world from it.

If you hit the Home button and exit out of the game, it is the equivalent of a save state. So if you died in the dungeon, you should restart in the dungeon (by choosing continue in the game), and then you could Home button out to stay there. Then when you launch it again, it should begin right where you left off.

Also, you could try getting better at the game, since it's the first dungeon, and you are dying in it.

Oh, I just got to the part I died at, apparently they were a different kind of skeleton who's heads float around. I died because apparently you can't hurt the heads, you have to attack the body. So, I'm sitting here swinging at the heads as they rape me from 3 directions.

No. I'm pretty sure you have to save the game however the game wouldve normally handled it. No save states.

Finally, some of my own real friends have a 360! Nothing against you CAGs, you guys are great to play with. I'm just pretty stoked to play with people I know.
 
So I've gotta drive 150 miles to Augusta, GA tomorrow around 3 a.m., then work a special hard day at a new project site, then live in a hotel for two months. Who envies me? Yeah, I bet you do.

Meh, I used to do that. Lived out of hotels in different states for months at a time.

It got old pretty quick. I got sick of the bars, so I'd just sit in the hotel hot tub and read.

Pixie still thinks I slutted out, and looking back, I should have. But the pickings in some places I was at was awfully slim...

I've done that too. Unfortunately I was only 20 when I was doing it, so I couldn't even go to the bars.

I wouldn't mind a little travel fling, but I have little experience and still feel like I need the more experienced, older guy to take care of showing me how to do things and such. Or maybe I just like the guy to be in control. Or I like older guys.

I'm not sure, but having a roommate doesn't exactly make flings easier.

And I may have to take a nap. I don't feel like packing right now.

I remember when I first had a girl spend the night...

I was 18, and my girlfriend asked if she could stay the night (even though she'd normally stay over 'til, like, 4 AM, anyway) -- this was at my parents' house. I didn't ask my parents if she could... I kinda just told them that she was, and they accepted it.

Anyway, I bring this up because - somehow - I wound up sleeping on the floor. I assume I got up to use the restroom and, for whatever reason, crashed on the floor. At around 5:30 AM, or so, I heard my bedroom door crack open. It was my mother, peeking in.

The next day, after I dropped my girlfriend off at work, my mom commended me for being a gentleman and sleeping on the floor. :lol:

I asked her how she knew I was sleeping on the floor, and she got mighty shifty-eyed.

I thought the demo was good but the reviews were pretty mediocre. That suprised me. I have it on my Gamefly Queue.
