Chris Benoit kills wife, 7 year old son and then self.
wtf it kicked me out... and now its asking for membership or w.e
Same here, it's just a three minute trial or something.
I'm not defending him or whatnot, but an influential speaker I once had the pleasure of hearing speak said something I'll never forget after the crowd had booed a reference to R-Kelly: "I hope that people don't judge you by the worst thing you've ever done."
We live in a society that does that. Thats what jail, and the death penalty do. You can go to jail as a felon for a non-violent crime, and then spend the rest of your life having a hard time getting a job only to end up being a janitor. I.e being judge, and paying for that mistake the rest of your life.
Its 3pm wtf? no conference. I'm not sitting, and watching this shit for an hour.
You really expected it to start at 3 on the dot?
Perhaps he found out that his wife was having an affair with Kevin Sullivan and/or someone else. Who was also the real father of the child.

I don't mean to offend anyone with this post either, just throwing out my two cents on the matter.
Have you actually looked at photos of Daniel? He is no doubt Chris's son..
You really expected it to start at 3 on the dot?
Well when someone says they're going to be on at 3 then they should be on at 3. Or least call ahead and say you'll be late its the professional thing to do. :)

...Have you ever watched a live press conference before?

from Bob Ryder @ 1Wrestling.com

"The Benoit press conference scheduled to begin at 3pm ET should begin shortly. MSNBC reports that the District Attorney who will conduct the press conference just came to the microphone and said the conference will begin shortly and that they were waiting until the final autopsy results were completed. Two of the three results are in and they expect to get the final autopsy result within the next few minutes. "

Graystone, they're always late. I'm more surprised when they occur within half an hour of the 'scheduled' time.

Bob Ryder doesn't write for WrestlingObserver.com, he writes for (and co-owns) 1Wrestling.com.

The real issue here may turn out to be steroids. If, as has been reported, there is a link between Benoit's bizarre behavior and steroids (say, for example, his suicide note bemoans the effects steroids have had on his body and mind, or he left syringes of steroids scattered about), the WWE will be in real trouble.

I mean, for the first time, Vince will have to admit that 'roids is a real problem and has led to the deaths of multiple wrestlers (can anyone deny that?). I'm not sure the WWE would recover, frankly.
Looks like the estimates that were floating around here were a day off.
So if he text messaged people during the PPV... how would he be dead early Sunday?
So if he text messaged people during the PPV... how would he be dead early Sunday?
I was thinking the same thing. The PPV wasn't until Sunday night. Unless the time of the text messages is off.
steroids were found
They said all the prescriptions found were legal, and did not believe any to be steroids.
Its still going on. I see your not paying attention.
*sigh* theres nothing new in my eyes that theyre gonna open up to until the tox results and all that other shit is done.
Legal ones.
roids are roids. legal or not. Even the ones they use for asthma.

Bibles were found next to all the bodies. Wife was bound, and had some blood around her head. She was wrapped in a towel.

Apparantly Nancy's feet and wrists were bound (not to each other, though) and there was some blood under her head.

The blood sort of seems like it could've been an accidental push or something, but the bound feet/wrists? I guess it's just wishful thinking.
*sigh* theres nothing new in my eyes that theyre gonna open up to until the tox results and all that other shit is done.
They've confirmed that it was death by asphyxiation. wtf more do you want?
The sheriff's office had ruled it a double murder suicide.
Love the picture they are using on CNN
I was thinking the same thing. Reminded me of the picture of OJ Simpson Time magazine used, photoshopped to make him look more sinister, after the murders so many years ago.

This press conference is confirming what has happened, and damn near everything prior has been hearsay and unconfirmed. I'm sure you don't appreciate such nuances, and instead believe everything everybody says.

Prescription drugs were found, with steroids being one of the things found. They're not going into detail on the text messages. Now they're not revealing anything about them. The "bizarre circumstances" were the timing and the death of Daniel. Nancy was bound by the hands and feet, with blood found underneath her head. No signs of struggle from Daniel. A Bible was placed next to the bodies of Daniel and Nancy, but they haven't revealed how they were positioned. The CNN network is covering the press conference, so if you can't get a web feed, just watch it on TV. It was confirmed that he was on steroids when he died, but that it isn't believed to be the cause of this yet.

Something that was in his system that caused him to snap?

Your attitude sure has changed. Last night you thought it wouldn't be cut and dried and was linked to satanism, now you're berating someone for wanting more info.

Whatever you say "Professor Murder."

Well prior reports had them spitting up blood. Maybe there is something to that with regards to what went down.

edit: also I want to know if concussions and the pills were part of the reason for what went down. Doing the flying headbutt and other moves could have really messed his head up, and a series of concussions can lead down a path towards depression and other problems.
now you're berating someone for wanting more info.
No I'm saying he doesn't care what the police office says he wants tox reports. So when they give tox reports will he believe them.

Lt. Pope has basically confirmed the theories that have been out there are accurate. They're saying Chris killed both Nancy and Daniel then hung himself. Lt. Pope is descrbing it as "death by asphyxiation". A reporter asked if Daniel was smothered, with a pillow for example. Pope would only confirm "death by asphyxiation". Pope would not divulge the contents of the text and did not name who received the text. Anabolic steroids were found in the home. Nancy was found in an office area. Daniel was found in his bed. Chris was found in the weight room. DA Scott Ballard confirmed there was a Bible placed next to Nancy and Daniel's bodies. It's believed that Nancy was killed Friday and Daniel on Saturday. Lt. Pope also stated that there was no suicide note.
