The main Secret Wars series is better than any of the tie-ins, but there are a lot that I have enjoyed. M.O.D.O.K. Assassin has been very entertaining through 3 issues, as has Thors through 2.

Birthright
Deadly Class

Velvet

The Fade Out

East of West

Invincible (I Know it's Robert Kirkman, but damn if it isn't one of those superhero books that knows how to grow and build)

The Wicked + The Divine

Manhattan Projects

And I know I'm forgetting abunch more that aren't Saga or Walking Dead.

They didn't have Planet Hulk #4 yet, so I have to search elsewhere for that one.

• A-Force #3
• Howard the Duck #5
• Inhumans: Attilan Rising #4
• Lando #2
• Secret Wars #5
• Secret Wars 2099 #4
• Secret Wars Battleworld #4

Secret Wars #5 was kind of uneventful. Not really bad, but lots of exposition with very little plot advancement. Haven't read Inhumans #4 yet. I did locate a copy of Planet Hulk #4.

Howard the Duck #5 was awesome. You guys really should check out the TPB once it releases. The new post-Secret Wars HTD #1 drops in November.

I haven't read Justice League #43 yet but it most been very good or something epic happened in it, because my shop was all sold out of the regular cover within less than 24 hours.

So yeah, I got these on Friday but forgot to post here. I will do so now for the sake of consistency:

• Age of Ultron vs. Marvel Zombies #3
• Birthright #10
• Bizarro #3
• Black Canary #3
• Guardians of Knowhere #3
• Guardians Team-Up #10
• Harley Quinn & Power Girl #3

• Justice League #43
• Kanan: The Last Padawan #5
• Martian Manhunter #3
• Star Wars #8

Nice you got the regular cover of Justice League. I preferred that cover but they only have the pricier variant cover when I got there the next day. I feel ripoff...

Is that the only comic store in your area? I figure DC had to have produced a lot of copies since Justice League is one of their top-selling series.

I have another list of 14 issues today, although I'll probably have to wait til Friday to go to the other place to get Ghostbusters Get Real #3.

P.S. Secret Wars was given an issue #9 for release in December. However, it will not affect the launch of the All-New All-Different Marvel line in October.

There's another one but it is pretty far from me. I think my shop might just have under order them or something. Which is weird considering it's a big DC title.

Yeah, that's why I was kind of surprised. My usual spot actually ordered Ghostbusters Get Real this time, so I'll be picking my stuff up in the next hour or so and will share the list and pic later on tonight.

Well I read What If Special #1, printed June 1988. It tells what would happen if Dr. Yinsen didn't buy Stark enough time to activate the Iron Man suit. Basically same s- happens, but Stark is also forced into acts of sabotage by the terrorist leader, but no worries, it ends like an early What If issue. Steve Ditko did the layouts.

That's a lot of comics. Hope your wallet is ok after this week.

I feel like I'm starting to get tired of the current Harley Quinn. I feel like the zany no consequences slapstick along with Harley being raunchy has gone on long enough. I know the current run is really popular and I do like it, but I miss the old Harley. I really liked the Harley series from 2000 (at least I think I did - I read it around  2010 when I got really into comics).

Walking Dead just seems to be slowing to a crawl. I will keep reading it of course, but I feel like very little has happened in the last two issues since the big event, and I'm still waiting to see what is gonna happen to Negan. The letter sections from 7 months ago acted like it would be a big deal when you finally saw him again. It happened like 4 months ago and he hasn't been seen since and hasn't done anything.

What I'm really liking right now is Outcast and Copperhead. I picked up Copperhead on a whim and really really like it.

My brother in law just handed me all of the sandman comics for me to read, skimmed through some pages, art looks good. I never read comics, just the occasional manga, so this could be interesting.

I got Cowboy Viking Ninja volume 1 and 2 in a big craigslist lot like a month or so ago. I never had a chance to read it til now.

So I blew through both books and was very entertained. Googled looking for volume 3 and found out that was the end of it and its over.  Argggh.
