depending what i do today, i may be up for some LPC
alright. If you're going to be up for playing, lemme know. Send me a friend request on Live too.

Lost Planet Colonies is fun, mindless online! I enjoy it from time to time. It's not the deepest, but it's fun. Bugs vs Humans is awesome.

And I want something cool from the Nintendo World Store! Do they have stuffed nintendo character things?

I saw Yakuza 2 at best buy, Chac. Might want to try again.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try the other BB tonight.

@%$#! I was jus in the vicinity of that store failing to secure me a $12.99 copy of Street Fighter AE~!!!

:bomb: INSULT TO INJURY!!

TOday was another slow day. All I really did was help set up for my sister birthday party and watched Code Geass vol 2 on my PS3. But it seems the DVD is messed up so I have to get a replacement for it.... Nothing can go right for me this month.

I just got back from the other Best Buy, and they had Yakuza 2, but the guy said they couldn't sell it because the site said the release date was 9/16, and the manager he was with agreed. I tried to reason with the lackey once the 40-year-old failure walked away, but to no avail.

What a cunt.

Finally started the 1st mgs, which is great.

Any tips on
where that one chick's codec is? They said something about the back of a cd cover...

Even on the Essentials one?

Looked all over the case and I didn't see it. Thanks for the help, gamefaqs gave me the info. 140.15 and it's apparently Meryl :hot:

For Essentials It's on the back of the box that holds all the games.

Went over my head but at least it's there. One of the most clever things I've seen in a while...

I'm watching the Fringe pilot finally...don't spoil, but I really hope the main girl's boyfriend bites it. He's so wooden. And not in a good way.

Everyone dies of AIDS.

I packed up my DS and a few games. I was about to put my PSP in my backpack when I realized that the charger wasn't plugged in from the last round of moving plugged in things on my power strip. Oops. Oh yeah, my PC that my friend lent me died. I am guessing it is the power supply. It boots up then just crashes. I remember that being a problem when he had it. Time to shop for a new one that I can call my own!

I can't wait to go. I leave for the airport in 8 hours! :whee:Jer, give my a price limit and I will see what I can do for the NWS stuffed toy.

I played some Disgaea 3 today, it is fun. I absolutely love the music. I also started Desert Punk since I watch all 4 seasons that I own of DBZ. Time to order more! And get Haruhi.

I'm kicking myself for not spending any time with the guitar on Rock band until today. Never could get it calibrated right so I never messed with it. It's been the most fun I've had gaming since my marathon Guitar Hero 3 days.

Anyone played MDK2? I need something to go with Fallout 2 on GOG. I'll probably hate Fallout with a passion (it looks like the old Bioware games I could never get into) but I figure I have to at least try it.

I want amazon to get SFA in stock so I can PM CC and get free shipping.

Fallout 1 and 2 are almost the exact same in terms of gameplay..

And if you don't like them, you fail. They take more imagination than something like Oblivion, but the setting, characters, and stories are so much better than oblivion. You're so free to do whatever you want, too.

Say this gang member asks you to kill this rich dude who lives outside of town. You can A. Agree and do the job, get paid. B. Agree, sneak into his house, steal his necklace that the gang boss wants as proof of his death, get paid C. Tell the authorities and join them in a raid on the gang. or D. Steal the necklace, get paid for the job, tell the police, kill the gang member, and profit from both!

And then there's always E. Massacre everyone in the town, men, women, children, dogs, etc. and forget the whole mess. There's no invincible Guards to take you to jail like in Oblivion. I hope Fallout 3 is that way too. I hated that I couldn't just get out of situations where I got caught stealing or something.

God, I love fallout. It has so many awesome parts like that in almost every town in the game.

Don't play the second one first, though. It's hard to go back because the second one removes the time limits and has a lot of streamlining that the first one doesn't.

I'm only gonna play one of them. Don't really have time for both, and since the stories dont' really carry over I might as well play the best.

Yeah I would agree with that. Fallout 2 is more playable, but Fallout 1 has a better story. Fallout 2 is a little wackier with the side quests and silly references.

Red Ryder BB Gun to the groin.

To everybody.

I'm playing the first one on my mac again and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it

Oh and to Chacrana - That's bullshit. I hate how Best Buy puts these street dates on little titles like that and won't release them for a week later. I saw like 7 copies of yakuza 2 at the best buy near us here just yesterday, out on the shelf.

I remember running into the same thing when the Halo 2 Map Pack was released. Some 40 year old douche wouldn't sell it.

It's cool that GOG has all the updates and patches for their games. Fallout 2 has some game ending glitches if you don't update, and a few that sneak through with the update. Stuff like your car (Which you store EVERYTHING in) just being removed from the game.

I just wish the Fallout games didn't feel so archaic now... particularly in their visuals. Because the games have some fuckin' great shit tucked under that exterior.

Okay, I give up. Someone explain these Bill Gates/Jerry Seinfeld commercials, because obviously I'm fucking retarded and don't get it NES.

I don't get them either, I think that is the point.

For some reason I can't 236 in SC4 for shit tonight. I'm sooo tempted by that stick, but I just spend 35 on my dreamcast and such.
Anyone in the "beta" for GoodOldGames?
I am. Any tips for the free game I should get with Fallout 2, which I just purchased? A lot of the games look good, but I'm leaning towards either Giants, MDK 2, Freespace 2 (just because I've never played a game like it) and that Original War game.

God, so many great old games I've never played.
Not Giants. That game was ghetto in 99 and it's ghetto now.

I'd say Freespace 2, personally.
Any opinion on MDK? Gameplay video I saw looked hella fun, if a bit simple.

Anyone have Tekken 5 DR and wanna game share it? All I've got to trade is a couple warhawk expansions and two rock band songs.

MDK2... I dunno, the mechanics felt kinda iffy. IIRC, you played as three characters in that game, but two of them were lame. The original MDK, though... I remember playing that back in 1997 and it was damn cool, though I can nearly guarantee you it hasn't aged well. It's almost definitely got that primitive 3D style to it that shows that the game has a decent concept, but flawed execution.

I downloaded BCR and started it up just to see the menu... and I absolutely won't play this until I have my real monitor for playing it on. This is torturous... game looks so damn cool.

At least you don't have to play it on an SDTV. Everything is so small it hurts my eyes, hence me only playing one level of the game.

So who decided to add in the useless, annoying and tiresome overhead random battles in BCR? Because they can suck my cock. With their ear.

This monitor is so fucking bootleg...scrolling up makes text on this page look unreadably blurry. And the max rez is like hella limp.

I think I'll just watch the fucking awesome BCR launch trailer some more...

Also, going through the games on my computer makes me remember that I never finished or even got that far into Mass Effect. I got sidetracked by MGS4 and I guess I forgot about it. I'll have to remedy the situation.

I really want to put in Persona 3, but I'm afraid I'll either
A) Get sucked in and play all night.
B) Get pissed off because I'm underleveled and get raped by the second set of floors of Tartarus.

Great game, but I never want to put it in because I'm like, shit, it'll be 90 hours before your done.

Kind of the same thing with okami but it's more, shit, 40 hours of frustrating Zelda clone.

Can I make numba 83?

At least in the original, you could earn continues by beating them. Now they just throw you an extra life.

My goal is to see how far back I can be and still blow up the truck at the end.
