Why does it matter how much it is worth on Ebay? Even if the game isn't all that great, Sly Collection will be around for years to come; a CE won't. Hell, it'll probably become a Greatest Hits at some point which means it will be discounted on a regular basis.

I just don't see the value in trading something that will very likely become rare (regardless of how "bad" the game is) vs something that isn't. Besides, it's not like getting the CE freebies + a medicore game for $9.99 is really all that bad.

It matters how much it goes on Ebay because that's the best way to set a relative value. They each sell for roughly the same amount. Just because they make it a CE does not mean that it will have any more value than the normal release.

Look at any of the "limited" halo's that have been brought out. All of them have dropped drastically in price and they are considered great games by many.

Just because it's collector's doesn't mean that they didn't produce enough to sink a small island.

I would say that there is a better chance that Sly will not get reprinted and will be more sought after in years to come as the best way to play an under appreciated series and will hold it's value better that Star Wars. That is assuming that the whole market doesn't crash like it has with comics and cards.
 
Judging by some of the post here, I swear that some people haven't left their mentality at rfd before coming here.

This Afterglow controller, does anyone know if it is wired or not? Would love to pick up one for the PS3 as I tend to play some fps on it.

My parents bought me the Halo 3 Legendary edition from Futureshop 3 or 4 years ago. They paid less for the giant box edition than they would have for disc only. I've carried the burden of that stupid spartan helmet for years now. :|

I dunno who your talking about but If you mean me. i was originally a CAG user and ( am not a user at RFD ) i just browse the forums over their and see what people have to say from time to time, i noticed a user over at RFD came up with new URLS that could be coming up for the coming days and the first one if i remember Correctly was this controller instead of Driver, but i checked later on when it was updated and it was true.

I'm glad you posted this, since I agree with it 1000%. Being called a 'Collector's Edition' does not immediately increase your value in the years come.

Just ask Halo 3 Legendary Edition, Bioshock 2, Killzone 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 3, to name a few.

I guess it's nice that they're having a DotD for Other M, but I picked it up when they had the same deal over the Summer...

I can't bring myself to spend that much on War in the North, knowing that it will be valued price within a year.

I would pick up Driver at that price. We can only hope.

Anyone know if Once Upon A Monster has easy achievements?

It's not that bad. >.< Other M is worth $10. It's not the best Metroid game ever, but it is a good game. Do keep in mind, I spent $10 on Duke Nukem Forever. I don't think anyone would argue that Duke Nukem is better than Other M...

Yeah, I'd rather play Fable II again. I put a few hours into III and was honestly thinking as I was playing that it was a crappy dumb version of Fable II.

And the entire series is really just a dumb version of the Elder Scroll series.
 
I heard the original Fable was amazing, though I've never played any of them. My friend was quite in love with that game.

Missed out on grabbing Fable III yesterday. Today's deal doesn't seem to great. Anyone think Space Marine is worth $30? Gameplay doesn't look very original, reviews are good though.
 
The reviews for Space Marine seem pretty decent, although it's a THQ title so I think it'll probably go lower over the next few weeks/months, and it's not really a "zomg must have now!" kind of game for me.
 
Was slightly interested in the game. Dunno if this will be the cheapest price in a while or if I can hold off for a bit.
 
I wouldn't mind playing it but i don't wanna own it for $30 cause i would only Rage alot. heck the demo on EASY it at least took me half a dozen times to finish it ! that's how i know i would rage. it's ok for what it is. but i'l wait till it's cheaper.

According to Neogaf, it will be Hunted and Brink for $14.99 each.
 
Since Hunted is a $19.99 title already, I imagine it'll probably go down to $10. The reviews aren't altogether horrible so I may jump on that.

the main games i am looking for cheaper are Portal 2, Gran Turismo 5, Socom 4, Resistance 3, ( next few games i doubt i'l get alot cheaper ) Saints row the 3rd Uncharted 3 and Battlefield 3 ( don't want Skyrim anytime soon cause giving a game like that full price that's broken is basicly saying that's fine you bring out games broken and next to unplayable we don't mind ..... well i do )

It sounds like you might have been playing it wrong. I also had a bit of trouble until I learned how the health recovery mechanic worked; it's quite integral to the game design (which is unusual in our current times of automatically-regenerating health).

I bought Hunted on Release and rented a second copy to play co op with my wife. Despite the graphics being sub par and the occassional bug I really enjoyed it. it's an old shool dungeon crawler that rewards Exploration and team work.

Definitely play through it co op though. I've heard the AI is useless.
