IMPORTANT NOTE: some of the deals do not appear on the ad scan. A lot of them are listed on the back of the flyer coupon. For example Custom Robo for $9.99 is not listed anywhere on the ad scan, but its on the backside of the section that says "Hot Offers" and has a picture of the two pokemon videos and F-zero GBA.

Big question: For the rebates do you really need the ORIGINAL UPCs? As in do you need to actually CUT the packaging? I could never do that.

Does anyone know if copies are accepted?

They have accept copies in the past. Buy it in store and you dont need the upc code.

They don't require you to send the UPC... just the receipt with the voucher.
It also said 'limit one per customer,' so they have every right to only send you one rebate.
I think what they are talking about is only 1 copy of each game. You can't buy 2 copies of HSGF and expect to get $40 back. I picked up 2 copies of the flyer, this way, I have one for each game.

I went down to my EB to pick up MMCM, Custom Robo, and 1080. The sales associate working there didn't know about the sale and was shocked when he scanned the games. Sadly, only MMCM and Custom Robo were still in plastic, so I'll try and eventually pick up 1080 at another EB. The best part of the day wasn't even concerned with EB. I stopped into the KMart next door to look at the ongoing 50% off deal they've been running. Normally, they only seem to add games when they have a nationwide sale. Anyway, the original Wario Ware was there for $10, so its been a good cheapass day.

I scanned all 6 pages of the flyer. If someone can post them, PM me with your e-mail address and I will send them to you. I squished them down to like 300k a piece, but if you zoom in you can still read the fine print.

there's a game i want to buy, but with shipping plus tax it almost makes it kind of not worth it.

is there at least a way to get freeshipping for these?

checked the site again and made another order.

BTW THEY HAVE ALL THOSE $9.99 GAMES BACK IN STOCKONLINE:
van helsing
FSW
manhunt hitman contracts
etc etc etc

Tetris - Pre-Played $5.99 NES keeping for myself

*heading to gamerush*
Max Payne - Pre-Played - XBX $5.99
Robotech: Battlecry $5.99
XIII NEW $4.99
Rogue Ops $5.99
after free shipping and 15% off my total order was $26

not the greatest deal ever but more than enough to keep me happy. As i'll trade in these 4 games and preorder GTA:SA and 25 to Life.

SO when i trade:

$60 = 2 games preordered
-16 trade value
--------
$46
+20 spent for the 4 trade games
---------
$66 total for 2 $50 games

Not as good as the good ole days of Gamerush but still enough to keep me happy and satisfy my need for games on release day.

SAVER = free shipping i think you need to have a prrowned game in your order though get a $.99 genesis game like a old football or golf

CAG15 = 15% off all preowned games

they can be stacked

Just spent an hour playign Custom Robo and I think it is a good game. Start off a bit slow because you have to beat the main game once before you can unlock the extra modes. Hopefully it will come back in stock.
Is Custom Robo $10 B&M? I can't find anything on this thread that states for sure that it is. Thanks.
Hmm...
Got custom robo for ten bucks b&m, the guy was like ok the games ten on discount and I added the insurance and I say well now go right back and take off that insurance, and hes like but its good for one year and very firmly I say I know its optional take it off so he did, sneaky little bastard.
are these available b and m too?

I know FSW is not available at that price in B&M.

either is manhunt. im thinking these are online only which they usually are.

I'm quite pissed at EB right now, I went to one store and asked for 1080 and Custom Robo, and the guy grabs a used copy, tells me I can get it for $27

So I call another EB ask about Custom Robo and 1080, they say they have Custom Robo, I ask is it new and they say, yes. I go and ask for Custom Robo, they try pawning off a display copy on me, I ask if they have a sealed copy, they don't, so I tell them to forget it. Since I was here I was like what the hell, I'll pick up Pikmin 2 instead (I know not cheap, but I had a gift certificate) I'd been wanting to get it for a while anyways. So she grabs one, puts it in the bag, I pay for it and as I'm about to walk out I look in the bag.... and it's a ****ing display copy!!! Anyways I got a refund, after they gave me some crap about how it's never been played... I like to see a customer go in there and use that argument to return a game they've opened.

I doubt I'd find 1080 new in stores around here, I may check as I do want the game, but I'd hate to waste a trip for just that :( Great deals though OP! Thanks.

Picked up Custom Robo today at my local EB. I was lucky on the Custom Robo as it was also sealed, and they didn't even have a display copy anyways. But then again, my friend knows not to pawn a display copy on me.

I was looking for 1080 Avalenche also but the employees told me that they didn't even recieve any for the sale in the first place. Looked at Monopoly Tycoon 2 and decided to pass on it. They also had Deus Ex 2, but even though the were supposedly new, they were in the crappiest condition I have ever seen a new PC game.
are these available b and m too?
Good question. Has anybody tried these B&M?

Edit: Nevermind, I saw somebody already posted the answer to the question.

Just called the 1-877 number for EB and the rep said that if you buy Hot Shots Golf and Syphon Filter on the internet, you only get $20 back. But if you buy it B&M, you'll get the full $40 back. He said to just make sure I had 2 receipts and 2 forms and mail them separately and they'll go through.

So there you go, get them B&M to get the full $20 per game back.
hmm $5 off MMZero 3? it's already down to $19.99
Could be a tight deal there at $15
Well, I got Megaman Zero 3 for $9.99 + tax at my local store

I used the coupon and either the cashier made a mistake, or there's another promo with it when you use it...

For all those having a hard time finding 1080 for 9.99 at EB...that some of your TRU shouldn't have then clearanced out at close to that price about now or in the coming weeks. I've been watching mine price done from 49 to 11 over many weeks.

BB should price match for this sale, right?

i picked up hotshots golf fore and spy vs spy yesterday.

they didnt have 1080 or custom robo

I have a couple of questions: How do I mail the UPC code?, and can I get the $20 gift voucher online, or is it just in-store? (I'm asking because I don't have an EB anywhere near me)

I just read the few last pages of the thread and I'm sure these are B&M as well.

I went to an EB yesterday (since the other one shut down awhile ago) and I know this is kinda stupid for me to realize, I got Custom Robo the display case kind and it's the only one I saw there "new". -.- I should have been patiant and PM at BB or something, but really the game is worth it and I just wanted to play.

Also yea watch out for the insurance thing.. ironically I should have just added that extra dollar and replace my Custom Robo right now... The cashier at the EB I went to, she just puts the insurance on and then asked me so I just asked her to take it out.
SO if I order both golf and syphon online on the same order I can still get 2 $20 coupons?
According to EB, if you order online, you have to buy BOTH Syphon Filter AND Hot Shots Golf in order to get ONE $20 VOUCHER back. Meaning ONE game of the two is "free".

If you go IN STORE to buy them, and put them on separate receipts and get 2 forms to fill out and send them in separately, you get TWO $20 vouchers back, making BOTH games "free".

Understand now? I could draw some pictures for you, if that would help. :)

As a fan of the syphon filter series on Playstation 1, I recommend that everyone stay away from Omega Strain. It's pretty terrible, alas I did not heed the many reviews I've read that lambasted it. It's a stinker. Sad too, I loved 1 - 3.

Considering the game is only going to cost me $1.50 brand new, I think I can give it a shot. And if its horrible, it'll go back to EB during a "trade 2 get $10 bonus" deal.

Has anyone used the ad to price match? I have a feeling best buy will give me a hard time trying to get Custom Robo for $10 when they sell it for $40

It doesnt hurt to try, but BB might call EB to see if the game is in stock.

I pricematched the Gamecube deal... got them to give me Wind Waker and Mario Kart instead of Wind Waker and FF:CC : ).

I just tried to pricematch Wal-Mart.

They refused to do it. I even brought the original advertisement from EBGames with me to show them.

If you have a circuitcity, try to price match there. I usually have no problem getting a price match from CC. They even now price match Amazon.com prices too! Also try TRU, I pricematch an EB price there once with no problem.

Also, thanks OP for posting this. I got a copy of Hots Shots Golf Fore for my golf crazed nephew. He's loving the game and thinks I'm the best uncle ever. The game is so fun, I'm thinking about picking up a copy for myself.

You sure about that? Is that an official CC policy now, or just something you've pulled off at your local store?

but is both saver and CAG15 applied to both items in the order or just the used title? because if not then it would be pointless......if they are then that is a semi appealing option, although a little wonky being forced to drop money on a used title to get shipping.

i suppose if that did work that would at least cover the "most" of the shipping (still have to pay for the used game though) so the tax that is pretty much garunteed to be levied from EB's all state tax policy wont seem as annoying.
