Actually the PS3 version GOTY doesn't have all the DLC that the 360 has. Yes, it has the big ones (Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine) but there are a variety of small dungeons, fortresses, and the ubiquitous horse armor that are not on the PS3 GOTY (and presumably not on this PS3 release).
I wound up selling off my PS3 GOTY version and reacquiring the 360 GOTY version because waaaaaay back in the day, I bought a bunch of those little DLC pieces (not the horse armor thank god) and I never got around to checking them out while I owned the 360 version. Now my main character lives in the fighter's stronghold and at some point I have a big DLC dungeon to go through. These things are not part of any of the DLC from the GOTY versions.
If I had to start all the way over right now, and assuming that neither of these 5th year anniversary versions have anything above and beyond Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles, I'd probably get the 360 version.
Here's why...
-The aforementioned little DLCs on Xbox Live. Yeah, they're not all that but I like to have the option available.
-Achievements (why not, I don't usually go out of my way to get them but I'm conditioned to like them popping up at this point)
So the little DLCs on Xbox Live ARE included in the 360 GotY? I was aware of the little DLCs, I was unaware they were included for free in the GotY. Thanks for the heads-up, if so.
I'm gonna put my vote on them not really doing much for this release aside from re-packaging some old shit and selling it again. That said, I'll still get it since I don't own the game at this point. I'd shell out $30 for the GotY anyways.
