Your lucky I didn''t know about any coupon when I went .
LOL. The funny thing is, I've only played NFS:MW like 3 times, the last time being almost a year ago, and while I'm more than halfway through the level explorer in RR6, that hasn't been popped in for probably 6-8 months. But yeah, you could say I like racing games. I've got at least 60% completion in GT 1-4, and half of the 360 games in my library are racing games (unless you count Big Bumpin', then it's 5/8 LOL). Not too far in Forza 2 though, just haven't had the time.
Cars in games, or in real life? In games I tend to stick to high powered RWD cars, mid engine if I can tune them to be driveable. Occasionally there's the rediculous 1000+ HP AWD car. FWD is the devil.

In GT 1 and 2, I rocked the R34 Skyline (well, you gotta love skylines in EVERY GT game.

) and TVR Cebera. I dominated GT3 with a highly modified C5 in the mid 700hp range and a Spoon S2000 in the mid-high 200hp range, and my ride of choice in GT4 was a Dodge Ram packed to the nines (think it was about 880hp) because you get the max points for pretty much every race.
In real life, I'm much more tame. My main ride is a 2000 BMW 323i with a Getrag 5-speed. I keep meaning to take it to some track days or a racing school, but time/money always seems to get in the way. Before that it was a '99 Dakota 318 V8 with a 5-speed. Talk about torque, burnouts, and donuts.

Occasionally I help a friend tune his turbo jetta (~240hp at the front wheels) and we go bombing around in that, or I go to autocrosses with him.
The wife drives an '07 Lexus RX350, though not by choice. She refuses to acknowledge any vehicle with a fixed roof as her car, but we needed something practical to cart our son around for the next few years before he can properly enjoy the wind in his hair. Then she gets her convertible back. Some time later I can finally replace my car. Thining either a C6 (or C7, since that's where they'll probably be by then), or if I'm feeling a tinge of practicality and responsibility, a 535i with a PROcede and exhaust. 400hp and 400lbft of torque at the rear wheels in a sensible 12 second family hauler MUHAHAHAHA!!!
I meant in real life , I like RWD V8's if I could ever get one again .
I had a '99 Hugger Orange Z28 , I miss it .
Do yourself a favor and check out PGR3 , it should be really cheap now .
It's sim-ish in that the cars are realistically recreated and it has just enough fun 'arcade' in it .
It's not so uptight like Gran Turismo or even Forza .
Oh , and the new ZR1

don't get me started , I thought the ZO6 was awesome .
It's all about the Blue Devil .
