OTHER INFO

They also have coupons in magazines for great deals, so be sure to check EGM, GamePro, and several other magazines.

GameRush is starting to expand, so check the store locator every once in awhile to see if one is coming to an area near you. :)

All BlockBuster's should now accept trades, so the trade in prices for BB and GR should be similar, but normal BBs will not always have the deals that GameRush has.

GameRush accepts game trades without case and instructions and the games can be in poor condition depending on the employee.

You must have a BB account and sign a trade agreement to trade at GameRush.

Please be careful if you scam GameRush (by flipping games) since they do have the abillity to bann you from all GameRush locations if they want to.
I asked a csr earlier and he didn't know anything about the bonus dvd.
Yeah, me too. Knowing GR they didn't know it was a bonus and just gave it away to people who walked in and bought it. I pre-ordered it but did not pick it up until today.

I got a copy when I picked up the game. The employee opened a drawer and I saw a bunch of them.
I got a copy when I picked up the game. The employee opened a drawer and I saw a bunch of them.
Aww man. I would have ordered it from them if I'd known. They kept saying "try next week" so I gave up.

Gamerush employees are not very smart when it comes to the preorder bonuses. Only once has an employee remembered a bonus (RE 4 shirt) w/o me remembering. The other times I have to tell them they are suppose to give me something according to their flyer or their little preorder boxes that are lying around.

Is the "trade in 5 and get a used game for $1" really going to happen? Anyone know the details. I have a feeling there will be even more limitations, so I am not sure whethere I should take advantage of the EB deal or wait for this one.

Edit: Nevermind. Someone already answered. Thanks coreycubed. Looks like this is the end of the great GR deals.
On a quick break and got some disappointing information.

The trade 2 get preorder for $34.99 is till close of business March 14th.

Starting March 15th to replace there will be trade 3 get an extra $5.

Everything stays the same (at least till the next map which is 2 weeks away on March 3rd)
I may have to get a few more preorders in then soon.....I wish I would've picked up some cheap games though...oh well.

I have 4 on order....still need to get Rainbox Six Lockdown and possibly 1 or 2 more

does anybody have a list of preorders available from gr? i just searched this entire thread and didn't see one. i remember somebody posted a list before, but i can't find it.

edit: i also looked through gamerush #5 thread, but it wasn't in there. tia!

Thanks for the help CAGers. I did not find any of the .99 cent games, but I did get Castlevania Symphony of the Night GH for 9.99 and WarioWare for GBA for 14.99, both new.

CAGers Rule.

By the way, there were 2 more Castlevanie SOTNs new for 9.99, if anyone wants me to pick them up. I am willing to trade or sell.
cory, how much is mechassualt 2 getting?
It's getting $30 still last I checked (yesterday).

Got 8 for Siren and 7 for Primal yesterday. At first the csr said 5 for Primal but then w/o explaining why he gave me 7 for it.
anyone know how much you can get for smackdown vs. raw?
I'm not sure, but something around the 20-25 dollar range.

Went back to the new GR on 160 yesterday, and to my surprise they had a few more SNES games for $1. Picked up:

Pitfall - Mayan Adventure
Final Fight
Earthworm Jim
anyone know how much you can get for smackdown vs. raw?
I got 25 for it on jan. 12th so it's most likely down to 20 by now

Here's something that I recently found out:

Cubix: Robots For Everyone Showdown for PS2 is $4.99, but isn't on the exclusion list at EB.
Anyone notice that GR is now only giving $30 for a GC system? Saw it in a flyer today
My GameRush had over a dozen (they were flooding the little glass counter), so I'm not suprised.

Accessories

PS2 Memory Card - $17
PS2 USB Headset - $11
PS2 Network Adapter - $7
PS2 RF Adapter - $4

How much do they sell them memory cards for? LOL you can buy a new one for $20. I'm gonna trade in 3 memory cards today and i told my friend and hes gonna trade in 4 at a different store so we aint complaining though.

Anyone else find it odd that they only give $7 for a online adapter? Considering what they pay for everything else....

I got a GCN 56k online adapter, which, serves no purpose as I don't have dial-up nor does the GCN have online adaption.

Does GR accept this product? Or should I keep it for being a possible collector's item? :p

Just pre-ordered God of War with the last of my trades and some credit I had. Hope its worth it. Haven't played it. I am just going off of videos and word of mouth. I really wish they had a pre-order for Wanda and the Colussus though.

I personnaly cant wait until i can collect all the colors for $15 a piece :)
Anyone know how much you can get for the Eye Groove game?
Just the game? How much do you want for it? After buying a Playstation 2 (using TRU->EB trade credit) for the sole purpose of giving the kids an Eye Toy to play with, and after getting the EyeToy Groove bundle at Target for $20, I've been stunned to discover that I can't get the EyeToy Play game by itself. It is also very hard to find in used stores or even on Ebay. But, on the other hand, it isn't worth too much because I could always buy a regular EyeToy to get it - kind of a waste though!

I asked if they had any at Gamerush and EB and they BOTH told me they wouldn't even accept it for a trade-in without the camera (and thus wouldn't sell it without the camera).

I have another question. When my kids were playing with the EyeToy in TRU, there were a few mini-games like bubble popping and, I think, something with leaves. When I read the EyeToy play reviews these don't aren't mentioned (they mention 12 games I'd never heard of or seen). Does anyone know where/how to get the bubble/leaves game - is it on a demo disk or Jampack or something? Those are the games they WANT to play!

If you're looking for the EyeToy Play disc by itself, check out EBGames.com. Once in a while they sell the disc by itself, though it's even kind of rare that they have it in stock. I believe the price is only $7.99 or $9.99.

Does anybody think that we'll see a reduction in old B&W Gameboy games anytime soon? I don't think anybody buys these anymore and most of them are still around $10 used at my GR.

It'd be nice if they did some kind of retro-like sale on those old carts. At least knock the prices down to $3-$4 a piece.

I think I saw the Eye Toy game at TRU. Maybe that's not what your talking about, but I definately saw a Eye Toy game @ TRU.

Anyone know what the Urbz (PS2) trade in value is? I tried trading it in but it's missing its cover so they wouldn't let me trade it or tell me the value. I think it's just the employee, but I'm just curious if it's worth the hassle or if I should just put it up on ebay.

Also was wondering if anyone else could confirm the preorder deal being extended to 3/14, cause so far mine says it ends 2/28.

The n64 section is looking kind of packed, I think they need to clear those off for 99 cents each.

Uhm...I've traded in a few disc onlys...that I'd picked up elsewhere...Me thinks it's just that guy giving you a hard time.

Am I better off trading the following at GR or taking it to EB for the trade 5?

F-zero GX GC
Crash Wrath of Cortex GC
Metroid Prime GC
Onimusha 3 PS2
Psi-Ops Xbox

Thanks

is ebs deal trade 5 and get a game for free? if so, that is probably a better deal since for those games all will get 7-8 except for onimusha. id go to gamerush and see how much you would get.
The n64 section is looking kind of packed, I think they need to clear those off for 99 cents each.
Yeah, too bad most of the games are old sports games... :(

Though there's a 15 dollar copy of KI: Gold and a few other games that I want from there.

I got a copy of Pilotwings for 6 dollars there once, though. :D
The n64 section is looking kind of packed, I think they need to clear those off for 99 cents each.
This is really just an assumption, but I think that there may be one soon. My GameRush recently had 2 full brown boxes of N64 games (These were huge boxes; they're the kind that you could stuff a body in) that they took to the back of the store. Maybe they're not far off from another retro blowout.

I'm not sure if they will clearance out the GB games. I'm pretty sure that EB has the prices for the B&W GB games, fairly high. However, that might have changed since the newest Nintendo handheld, the DS, can't play GB and GBC games.

There is a South Park Rally at one of my stores... $29.99...if that goes to a buck you know I'll be there.

I found a mint complete copy of Gunstar Heroes for 99 cents and also a Complete Gauntlet Legends for Dreamcast. It Made my day.
Uhh, they may, not sure...
I have seen other wheels for PS2 there but not the GT4 one. I'd rather ask a knowledgeable CAG than the brain dead guys at (my local) GR.

Can they do special orders?

I have two Xbox versions for $9.99 at my store brand new
