guess I'll share a secret...Unreal II is worth $25 at gamerush($30 with the Trade 3 get extra $5) and it's only $9.99 at CC. Goodluck!

I know! I just called again, and they said that they only give $4 for the hobbit now, and $7 for Unreal 2 what a damn rip I was looking forward to this so much!

I called another store and this dumb lady said "I have a feeling that all games are worth $25." What a dumb orange! I called 5 stores 4 were no answering and this one is... Yeah...

i was told the same thing by a blockbuster/gamerush manager yesterday. so for you people looking to trade in dvds, wait a week or so.

I have one. I also have Fable. I pre-ordered Halo 2 LE at Gamestop LONG before this deal came up, so I just have to pick it up. Although I wish I would have waited on buying the XBOX since I now have so much credit.

AWESOME!!! I have about 30 dvds I was gonna dump on ebay but guess I will wait and get some creds for it. Finally will be able to clean up my messy home, dumped about 30 games already.

The Hobbit (PS2) is no longer worth 25, but, 12.

Okay, so, after those, I had around 115 in credit, I was overjoyed, I love the bonus 5 dollars.

So, then, I preordered THUG 2 for 30 bucks, I now had 83 dollars or so left, then, I decided to preorder Mario Tennis for 30 bucks, so now I had around 50-55 dollars. After that I decided to use a coupon I had (trade-in 5 get one PO game for 1 dollar) and got FF Tactics Advance for one dollar (it was shrink-wrapped in plastic). So, now, I saw TOS (new for 50), I had to pay around 5 dollars out of pocket, but, I got two more preorders, a 50 dollar game, and a 30 dollar GBA game for around the price spent at CC of, oh, maybe 25-30 dollars.

I think I'm done preordering.

(4) Batman Rise of Sin Tsu (GCN)

(2) Auto Modellista (PS2)

(3) Monster 4x4 Masters of Metal (PS2)

spending almost $500 dollars for trade-in though.... jesus to me thats abusing the system. I actually felt sick after turning in 3 copies of Drake :oops:

Hahaha, I get sick myself when I think of all the money I spent in the last week. I really think I went overboard on the Unreals but for some reason I couldn't pass them up. I only go to Gamerushes about twice a week between school and work, so I'll probably just trade in what I can and return the rest.

Xbox- GGX #Reload = 14.99
PS1 - Brave Fencer Musashi = 9.99
2 copies - FF9 - 4.99
1/2 off BFM and 1 FF9

Total= less than 30

BFM is in MINT condition, with demo disc and everything.

1 copy of FF9 is GH, the other, Non-GH...i figured for 2.50, why the hell not :)

Even with those, im still surprised i found GGX

Id like to know about that trade in 2 games get any accesory 50% off deal. Could I trade in all 3 of my non wavebird controllers and get $15 each. Then trade in 6 games and get 3 wavebirds for $30-15=$15 each?
I havent heard anything about this deal at my game rush and im worried they'll lower the controlller trade in value to less than 15 so I wont be able to do this.

Also has anybody been able to pre order Batan Kaitos i tried to and the guy couldnt find it in the computer. But... he also needed help finding Donkey Konga in the computer.

The straight-up bogos came from 2 different stores where the screwed up the price. You man not find anything, but if you are going to try then good luck on your treasure hunts.
 
it's like no one ever played classic games in my area..except apparently total recall for nes. They have a few of those..

Id like to know about that trade in 2 games get any accesory 50% off deal. Could I trade in all 3 of my non wavebird controllers and get $15 each. Then trade in 6 games and get 3 wavebirds for $30-15=$15 each?

I'm sorry I was just at gamerush but didn't pick up a flyer. I'll probably be back next week to pick up Mortal Kombat so I'll definetly pick up a flyer then.

I was able to pre-order Baten Kaitos without any problem. It was in the computer at my game rush also pre-ordered RE4 but needed the manual over ride for that.
 
I went this morning to check up on donkey konga(officially releases today) and to check out their used games section and was met with good and bad news.

the good - they are probably(99%) getting the game in. I was afraid that since it wasn't THAT high-profile and is more niche they wouldn't get any copies in and would cancel my pre-order like has happened to others who pre-order more niche titles. They had a big advertisement for it in the gamerush section though and they gave me a date, which leads to the bad news.

the bad - they're not getting it until 10/1(Friday). seems to be that my local blockbusters don't get games in until the friday after release so I wasn't that shocked. hopefully this isn't the case for the more high-profile games(GTA:SA, Halo 2). oh well, I got a great deal so I won't complain.

While browsing through their used games section I found a couple of things that I might be interested that are generally hard to find locally. For PS2 they had what looked to be complete used versions of Ape Escape 2, Shinobi and War of the Monsters. The prices were a little to high on the last two though. I also found a copy of Final Fantasy II for SNES for $6, don't know if that's any good. Don't they have a BOGO deal with 'classic' games or is that over?

I think you probably misread the flyer. When I went to pick up Donkey Konga today, yes they did get it today, I saw a flyer sayin trade in two accseoies get any accesory 25% off. Oh well maybe if I go get 3 cheap memory card and trade 'em in with my controller I can get 3 cheap wavebirds.

Yes the computer does flash. Ive seen it. It said i couldnt trade in any more copies of Drake,Culdcept,Robin Hood:Defender of the crown,and Bombastic. Ironic because i had only traded in Culdcept once. I dont know if it flashes in other stores. I wouldnt think so since that store isnt linked with the other ones. But they just told me to look out about those select titles.(i asked what the flashing meant) But thats was a couple of weeks ago. Ive still been trading with them with no problem other than the fact i cant get Brothers in Arms preordered because it isnt on their list. Yet i got The Urbz:Sims in the city and Close Combat:first to fight preordered and both were absent from their presale list. Strange.
 
One of the Gamerush's I went to today said sorry I don't need any of these to NFL 2k3 and Unreal II X-Box, I was like okay.... Damn still have 2 Unreal's left :(

I've had that flash on my account after the second trade of any same game title as well. I believe it could come up on the pc every time you trade after that transaction as well.

This is due to a highlighted message comes up consistantly since I had the message put on my account.
 
Hmm, I have a question. The other night I traded in 4 games and used the GamePro coupon that was 'get a used game for $4.99 if you trade in 4 games.' The total trade in value was $48.50 and I got a preowned Star Ocean 3 for PS2. I didn't bring my giftcard so it got saved on my account. The dude working there gave me the receipt with the games I traded in but not the one with the Star Ocean transaction. I go back today to trade in 2 games and preorder another and the guy working today said that I only had a few bucks left on my account when I should've had around $43. Is there anything I could/should do? :?
