Give me a break, it's my second time ever playing the game. I have heard the online community for this game is pretty bad and I guess this further proves the point. If your laughing at me, what are you saying to the guy on my team that scored even worse than I did? I play games to have fun. I'm going to assume your just like the other whiny 13 year olds who play the game.

Your never going to have fun on xbox live if you let a small group of people making fun of you ruin your night. It happens about 100% of the time.

Xbox Live = Time machine back to jr high where everyone was in a click and tried to be a bully. Multiply that by the anonymity of Live and you have a real crew of dicks.

Guess I'm not use to that, I just play the games for fun.. not to be the best. I would consider myself a pretty casual gamer, I might play an hr on Live a week if that. This is precisely why I don't use the microphone. I see no point in talking trash to 13 year old kids over an online game. (Although it can be funny, has anyone seen Breaking Up where Vince Vaughn is talking trash on the football game online?).

Epic, if you want to make PC gamers happy, stick with UT stuff.

We console people made Gears of War successful for you guys. You should've given us the extra content. PC games hardly break 1 million sometimes. Wouldn't it be better to bring it to the larger 10 million install base of Xbox 360?

I was quite pissed when I heard the exclusive content the PC is getting. New multiplayer maps and a level editor I could really care less about, let that be exclusive, but for a part of the fucking story to not appear in one version of the game is just ridiculous!

I hope they make it DLC after the PC version has been out for a while. I would gladly pay for that content. Epic, allow me to give you more money! Please...

Here is to hoping that the PC version does poorly (which I doubt it will) and that Epic will not screw original adopters again.
 
I'm sure someone has said it, but my bet's on those new chapters showing the players what cole and baird were up to most of the time.
 
Lol, if they charged us 10 dollars for the content, they would have made more money than they would selling hte game on PC. You can blame this ALL on MS acting dicky to Epic, and the same goes for the time exclusive shit with PS3.

I do think that after GOW is a platinum hit, it will be printed to have the new content, which they will then charge us for. They jsut want to boost PC game sales by makign them feel special, and then by the time GOW is a platinum hit, the PC sales will level off, and they will bring the content to the 360 to make even more money.

I thought Epic was famous for supporting it's customers and games more than just about anyone else? Sounds like they just got more corporate.

If anything, Microsoft is probably forcing this, since they really need some aces in their "games for windows" push.

Anyway, what's the ETA for UT3?

IGN has November 2007 listed for UT3, but I think that date is off. Didn't they remove the "2k7" because they were worried about an '08 launch? Probably works to their advantage to release this about 2-3 months after Halo 3 anyway.

is this possible to have my friend join in co op at the last saved part of my game?

Where we are driving the Car with the UV gun
Any tips to get past that level? we are mainly stuck on
on the last road where the old guy yells out "SWARM!" and we have a shitload of Kryll behind us ready to rape us, which they do in the end either way and can't finish the level.

That part is hella hard. When me and a friend beat it on Co-Op together that was definately our biggest sticking point. I think we pretty much just got lucky the time we DID beat it.

The only way I passed this on co-op was by pure luck.

It got to the point where we both said "fuck the Kryll!" and I would gun it to the end. When that cutscene pops up, we were so fucking relieved we would never have to do it again.

BTW, if anyone is willing to host a co-op game and let me be Dom, please either PM me or message me, I need that achievement.

Its hard, but what I do is that I drive near where the kryll spawn, and then reverse. Also, memorize where the kryll spawn.

Ohhhh I hate that part. It's all a matter of luck really, and timing. You have to basically memorize which way they come from.

Wow, I was beaten bad :lol:
 
I honestly found that part easier in single player. Just come to a stop before each spot where the kryll spawn and take them all out, then move on.

I know I'm posting in a biased thread, but I hope someone can give me a realistic response:

Is this game worth it for $25 if I'm only going to play singleplayer and maybe online a couple times? I don't play much Live.
