I'm genna try and get as many of you in the film as I can. It all depends on how things play out next year, but this month I start planning... mainly costume design.

Someone's genna end up female... I hope.
 
I also demand that JEKKI be a giant city destroying Baby picture that must fight us lazy ass super giant robots or something.

I realize that fighting games are for people who can stand for 10 hours straight at a cabinet, but sometimes a ghangsta's gotta sit. I need to find me a recliner, so I can finally get rid of my current seating for my setup... because right now, I've got one of those chairs that's basically like sitting on the floor, but with slightly more back support. And that's been as good as it's been for like... the last 6 years, so i figure it's time to live like a classy lad. Point is, I'm excited, and a good chair is more conducive to using an arcade stick that's in your lap than what I have now. Strategic advantage.

Bored as fuck. No point in studying for finals, either... :(

and if you're wanna pay tribute to the ultra series, then you can use some of the mech monsters as bases. king joe and windam pop out from the top of my head.


I wanna get better at blaz blue, but i don't have the time for it right now. I still need to master parrying n 3S before i feel i need to move on to something else.

The 360 version states:
A Bonus Game Disc with HD 65-minute full-length Anime movie and promotional trailers.

I don't even know what that means, but I guess a DVD.

You know what would be awesome? If SF4 had SFEX's training mode.

That was the best part about that game. It had each special and super move, and then a number of combos all the way up to pretty advanced stuff. It also had some random challenges thrown in like "do a 30 hit combo" etc...

It was amazing, and IMO the best part about that game. I would kill for that mode in SF4. KILL!
 
I remember playing Ex Alpha 1 for a looong time, I'd play with my neighbor all the time (since he owned the game :p). I had so much fun, but Zangief's lvl3 was a PITA to pull off with the D-pad, I had blisters just trying to do it :/

I almost had a 100% complete on those challenges but then I lost my memory card >_

Agreed 100%. I loved that mode.
 
I know it's a long shot, but would anyone want to swap bonus DVDs when SFIV comes out? I'm getting the game on the 360, but I'd like the Blu-Ray bonus disc. I'll swap my C. Viper figure for the Ryu one as well, if anyone wants to do that.

Also, glad to see the anime will be on Blu-ray... PS3 and PC SFIV for me.
 
Crap. I wasn't planning on getting the PS3 version, but mebbe I will, if there's some kind of awesome sale on it or something. Damn capcom not releasing the game before Thanksgiving so it can go on ridiculous amazon discount! >_

I'm in the same boat on both fronts (BD and Ryu).

I might end up having to get the PS3 version after all. I wasn't planning on it after SFHD ended up being semi-inferior on the PS3, but now who knows. We'll see we'll see.
 
Yea DVD vs. Blu-Ray is bullshit... I don't even have a Blu-Ray player but I'm pissed. Question: Is this the same Street Fighter movie that was on the SFAC disc?
 
It seems Capcom put several of the choices from that Street Fighter.com "what do you want in the Special Edition?" poll from a few months ago. The soundtrack, the figure, exclusive DLC. They were all on the poll. And I'm glad it's a DVD(or something watchable on the 360) that the anime movie comes on. I think they have enough in the Collector's Edition to get me to jump.

Answer: It's a new original anime. You remember all those short anime films of SFIV? yeah, that's what it'll mostly be but tied together.
 
Oh ok.. now I kind of want the CE... but jesus christ (Mr. Slave voice) $80 for a fighting game? I think I'll do it though.. just to show Capcom that I'm willing to buy an SFIV.

I have pre-orders for SFIV CE, a Chun Li pad, and a tourney stick for 360 only.

I think the C.E. and the Chun Li pad are all I'm gonna be able to swing. I'd love the T.E. stick, but things are a little tight. Being on a budget sucks, but a little planning ahead will allow me to get the C.E. and the pad.
