akuma is kinda easy if you have really basic knowledge of sf

DP any jumpins including his air fireballs, do your little cross up combos and he's done

if you really want to learn how to play, make sure you know all your basics like combos and stuff, make sure you know your basics like tick throwing, wake up games, and that you can DP every free jump in that you get. and it's easy like that.

i was thinking about filming some basic tutorial videos of me playing people online. i think i can do it.

also Flash Kicking is a real dance move... my friend who tricks (who will be playing MarkMan in my film) has shown me some real moves called the "Dhalsim" and the "M. Bison/Psycho Crusher". He's done the flash kick alot from his fun time demos.

if we fight NeoGaf... just pretend they are this. it'll be easier to win

Yeah I meant the 1P mode. I thought you had to do that to unlock him in multi, didn't know you hit up on Honda instead of Guile in multi.

I'm hoping the stick will help me do DP's on commmand. I can do FB and HK blindfolded, but I can't get DP to go 100% of the time I want them to. I'm 50/50 at best.

Although I haven't really played on anything other than an SNES/PS d-pad in the last 15 years. Pretty hard to find arcades in southern Illinois/western KY/St. Louis. How many of you whipper-snappers have ever played an actual SF 1 cabinet, huh? :)

I remember spraining the shit outta my wrist on a SF1 cab that had the big buttons....or was it Sonic Blastman? Whatever, I just know my hand was phucked up for a while!:lol:

i knew that. it took me like 3 matches to beat him. he's not like shin akuma or omega rugal from cvs2 where you try to do crouching short and he does lvl 3 super every time.

my nerd boner for street fighter has hit an all time length, i didnt sleep at all last night casue i was thinking about street fighter so hard, so i decided i would play some hd remix at like 5 in the morning and got killed. but than i played cod 4 on shipment and got 106 kills so i felt a bit better.

anyway rolento someone should sell "male enhancement" products as they are ALWAYS the best commercials

ill try to add some of you guys tonight if i get out of work at a reasonable hour

was gonna take my mom to anaheim on sunday, but then her friend saved me and took her somewhere else!!

I got to play Retro Game Challange all weekend... waaaaaay better than SFIV imo. lol
 
Retro Game Challenge is great (saw you in the RGC thread too, JEKKI). Definitely not a bad way to spend the weekend.

You know what's not a bad way to spend a Monday? Picking up these bad boys!

One of each (PS3/360), as I had both preordred. The Fed Ex truck literally rolled in just as I stepped into the store. My girl got me one of them for Valentine's (gave me a $150 Game Crazy GC, or GCgc lol), and I ponied up for the other one. I almost didn't get the PS3 one because I was being nice and one other person preordered the PS3 stick, but the manager called him to pick it up and he said that he would just wait for the next shipment.

Id say about 60% of the time i run into lagless matches online, the other 40% are mixed with slight lag, major input lag, choppy gameplay and outright unplayable. The worst is the input lag sessions, since you do a command and it doesnt happen for a second later, letting scrubs uppercut you to no end. Id say a good 30% of my online losses account due to that garbage. Sometimes everything just falls into place and its smooth sailing.

Quarter matches CANNOT get here soon enough.

You annoy me. You are expecting your SFIV shipment on Wednesday? Gamecrazy is getting theirs on Tuesday, but they are 35 minutes way compared to your 5 minutes.

As a poster on SRK said, the first 10 years was a breeze, these next couple days are going to be hard.
 
Not sure if this is old news but I just got an email from Gamecrazy and they say they will have the game tomorrow. I called them to check and the guy on the phone says they will have it tomorrow, I hope they have extra CE's for walk-ins.
 
My Gamestop will have the game tomorrow, and so I can pick up both Collector's Editions. I picked up my PS3 TE stick today, but I won't be able to try it out until tomorrow.

Apparently the district manager is going to the airport himself to pick up the copies of the game to distribute tomorrow. That seems pretty ridiculously awesome.
 
touhou is a line of doujin shoot em ups or something, and features a bunch of 12 year old girls in dresses or something, like most japanese shtemups.

CE is 80 bucks, who the hell is telling you 140?


Also, srk seems to be down 23/24 hours as of late, its kinda annoying.
