I'm going with Amazon. I doubt I'll be able to find this in stores. They'll probably only stock one or two copies. This doesn't seem like a game that'll have a massive print run.
 
I started Star Ocean on PS3. It's pretty good. Does it suddenly get really awful or something? Seems the game gets a lot of hate.
 
Wow, Deadly Premonition doesn't sound too horrible. It looks hilarious by the trailer posted here, so I may pick it up when it inevitably hits 10 or under.

I'm planning on going into GS today and trading Bayonetta, with some other stuff towards GOW3 since I don't think my magical leftover school funds will be given to me by the time it comes out. If my math is right (Wolfram is hardly ever wrong), then I should be walking away with about 135 in credit today. Not bad for what I pretty much just paid 30 bucks for.

been playing ODST this weekend. I kinda ignored it when it came out, since people weren't saying much about it. I think everyone was hyped for MW2 and didn't care about Halo at the time. It's pretty awesome though. I like the hub world and am super psyched for Reach if it's going to be open world.
 
It seems rather poignant that the discussion on the last page focuesed on driving in crackdown, while other people got in accidents.

Also, jer having good musical taste confirmed.

fuck that, i already told the police this lady is threatening me for money and if she wants more than $50 she can deal with the insurance company's lawyers.
 
well everyone's telling me to ignore her shit. If she didn't want to file a police report and doesn't want to talk to insurance she's probably got more dirt on her that she doesn't want to get involved with the authorities. At this point she's just a stranger asking me for money.

Sure does make me paranoid around the house, though. I guess it's good we live next to a grade school and the city's PD is about a mile away. Wish me luck, guys.

I got no problem throwing this lady $50-100 to get a bumper banged out, but $400? ridiculous. It didn't even bend her license plate. All that happened to my car was a plate on the front fell off, and that shit isn't bent either.

lol wow- puma is in almost the same boat. I didn't do any paint damage though. It was just the metal bumper in back slightly bent. Like I said, not even enough to affect the license plate. Greedy motherfuckers.

Yes, I have Heavy Rain preordered and can't wait. I have around 6-7 games preordered right now, but won't preorder more until my giftcards come in (like GoW III, Resonance of Fate, etc.).

I am really excited for Sakura Wars: So Long My Love. Been wanting a Sakura game forever, but I'm going to get it on Wii despite lacking Japanese voices.

Keep the Wii Azu. I use to not be a huge fan of it, but now its becoming a console I really like (personally). I'll admit I probably play my Wii the 2nd most after my PS3 these days, mostly because of New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
 
Nope, they're bad RPGs.

Just because you like it doesn't make it not bad.

I like prototype but that game is kinda bad.

No way. It's such a freaking waste of space and I don't want to play New Super Mario Bros. My mario quota has been filled for a very long time.

There is such thing. If there wasn't, then there would be no RPG that could be considered good.

And Edge Maverick? Really TMK? You don't know how much I've been making fun of that name ever since I started the game.
 
I finally found a code for ME2 and downloaded the Recon hood and it looks bad ass. And the Cerberus armor looks pretty neat as well. I'll have to go to that 7-11 again next week and grab 2 more coupons so I can get the rest of the stuff.
 
I just got back from GS and trading in a mountain of games. Ended up preordering and paying off GOW3 and HeartGold (gift for brother), and ended up picking up Tomb Raider: Underworld and COD:WaW. I started to get Darksiders but I was assured by the clerk that it'd be dropping to $20 soon, so I decided to wait it out. He also told me that the code in the case for RF:G had already been used, sadly. so no luck with that.
 
That Darksiders code thread in the deals forum is turning into a real nest of dickheads.

If my copy turns up with no code in it I'll be sure to post in there to randomly call someone who did get a code an asshole ;)

Finished Ghostbusters yesterday, game was fecking awesome, I even liked the online modes.
 
Actually I heard Tomb Raider wasn't that bad, but if it's not that good then I can always give it to my little brother. He could always use another game to play.

Good question about the clerk, Tanuki.. I assumed he already tried to use it himself, or he was the one to trade it and left it in there.

Funny thing, my other brother came along with me and traded in his copy of ODST and right after he got home he realized that the Reach beta was supposed to be tied to his disc and he is regretting trading it horribly.

I really like Edge Maverick. Not as much as Fayt Leingod though. I probably prefer Claude Kenni just a little more than Edge. I like Edge more than Roddick. I just love Star Ocean though, one of my top 5 favorite RPG series (that has more than two installments). :D But eh, I only have my SO4 sig/avatar up because that's what I was playing and had my Hope, Roxas, Cloud, etc. avatars up for a while.

I'll admit that Last Rebellion will probably be a terrible RPG, but I'll probably still get it because I'm getting a deal on it, and I'd feel guilty for not buying an NIS America published game.

As for the Wii, I dunno, I like mine a lot (have 14 games for mine, plan to get more). I'm quite excited for Arc Rise Fantasia, have interests in Fragile, Monster Hunter Tri, etc. TVC is just awesome, while Sky Crawlers is pretty good too. I still need to pick up NMH: DS, Rune Factory: Frontier, etc. sometime. I may look into picking up a bunch of cheap Wii games sometime. I just wish the Wii had a friends list like PS3/360 (where friends and I can see what games they are playing) and I'd play it way more.

Oh yeah, I'm considering Darksiders sometime, but may have to wait since I'm playing other games right now.

sounds like the clerk wanted the code for himself. how the hell would he know when the game is going to drop the price again? it just dropped less than a week ago.


I'm glad the clerk at my gamestop let me take some codes. :cool: then again, I greased the wheels by being a regular.

I actually had to go run a couple of errands so I went back into GS and wrote down the code and when I got back home I tried entering it and it says invalid, so he was right. He was still there, so I'm not sure if he actually used the code himself or not.

I'm a fairly regular customer in mine, too. I come in to look around and trade at least once every couple of weeks. I wish
 
Tomb Raider Underworld was enjoyable, probably the most I liked one of these games since the 2nd one.

If you want the full achievement/trophy on the first playthrough I would recommend using a faq for the treasures,dive, and speed run locations. If you don't get all the treasures on your first playthrough you can replay them in treasure hunter mode where all the puzzles are solved in advance.

I just finished my 2nd playthrough of ME2. I got lucky and had everyone make it out alive. I'll probably throw ME2 on the shelf until I hear some new about DLC.

At work yesterday a number of people traded in Darksiders, and all of them had the codes inside. I began handing them out to my regular customers. I like to reward the people that don't treat me like shit because I work at Gamestop.
 
I just started reading the Sentry V1 Trade paper back. So good, after seeing him constantly in the last couple months of Marvel series.

Also, creating black holes in the darkness is awesome.

Oh I finally got to use the new DLC for ME2. That new Shotgun is pretty nice since it has a little range to it. It's just too bad I got it before the last mission.

V2 isn't bad either. It makes me sad Bendis has made him into a joke. He gets beat up more often that the Silver Surfer, nowadays.

Isn't RF:G a platinum hits game now? $29.99 MSRP? Probably cheaper used at Rei's place of employment?

In fact, I just checked, it's $20.00. Yeah, a free game is nice, but if you discount the shipping, you're only making out with $15 to your credit... I dunno, even for free, I have little interest in the game... but that's just me. :) As long as you're having *fun* while trying to find a code, I suppose that's what counts. ;)
