Hmmm, my fucking 360 fan now has a wire loose... now I'm trying to figure out if it's better to (1) mod the stock fan, (2) try other mods for cooling, or (3) buy a new talismoon fan with the 12v mode...
I still maintain that Deception was/is the best MK.
1. I beat it in about 6 hours.
2. You're playing it on console, right? Might wanna just stick with Let's Rock. Corrosive said it was frustrating on Come Get Some.
Ended up doing Let's Rock. Thanks for the input.

Enjoying the game so far (just finished The Lady Killer Part 3)
Yeah, it's decent so far...up to Crash Course. Crazy how much it still moves like Duke 3D.
If you're playing on come get some, welcome to my personal "turret hell". :\

I'm on whatever medium was...made it past the first turret part, stopped at the part where you get the devastator and have to fight airships.

That turret part is the pain in the ass on hard.

3-4 hours into Assassin's Creed 2, thought I'd give the franchise a 2nd shot. So far it's easily a million times better than the original, though I still feel like I'm prancing around a tutorial mode =[. Hopefully things pick up soon, but it's nice to be enjoying a single player game again. Have Brotherhood lined up next.

Also, do we know why Ezio and his brother are parkour freaks?

Finish the game and then we can talk of the insane back story.

I've been playing the original Alice before I go back to the new one (which I played a few hours of so far). Good game, although clearly outdated in certain ways. I'm looking forward to getting back to Madness Returns once I beat it, since what I played of that was fantastic.
Button mashing doesn't seem to be making me win in Blazblue.

That means the game is no good.
Pick Noel, the game will instantly become good.
I've been playing a lot of Alice. Way better game than that last game I was playing
Infamous 2

Yep.
I dunno, they both seem to be just a glitchy.
Finish the game and then we can talk of the insane back story.
I don't even know what the hell the ending is supposed to mean. And I played brotherhood too!

It's really not too complicated. Just kind of silly at points.
I dunno, they both seem to be just a glitchy.
I don't think I've encountered any glitces in Alice (playing on dat Triple).

And Infamous 2 did have a few glitches, but to be fair I've yet to see an open world game that doesn't.
As long as a game doesn't have QTE's that involve tapping L2 or R2 repeatedly I'm fine with them as is. They just aren't made for that.
Almost all of the PS3 games I own require frequent use of those buttons, even MLB The Show you have to use R2 before each pitch while hitting if you want to be any good.

My local Gamestop never sells them and though they're right at the front counter, and I was the only one that bought them at my Game Crazy that closed and it just flabbergasts me.

It flabbergasts me that people have so much trouble using the PS3 controller because it's not the 360 controller. I can understand preferring the 360 controller, but when people flat out say things like they can't use the PS3 controller for FPS or whatever I find that to be pretty dumb honestly...either that or I'm just the most amazing person on earth since I can switch between the two controllers without any problems :p

Clearly you don't count because you are a Kinect master. Please teach me your secret skills sensei.

I always wondered the same thing as well...

I will not lie, I am pretty good at Kinect. The triggers and analog stick placement on it is no good though for FPS.

I'm in this camp, and it is one of the main reasons I sold my PS3. I can hardly aim with convex sticks, and the placement is awful for shooters (IMO, of course). So yeah, I flat out can't use the PS3 for FPS.

Hopefully can finish off Nature of the Beast in dragon age tonight or tomorrow. As well as the Rome missions in Alpha Protocol. Can only play one game a night though.

I have no trouble using it, It's just that I just don't like to use it.
Distigfx's avatar keeps killing me in arcade mode
I do tend to do that, at least until you figure out my one weakness.

I beat Just Cause 2. It was an interesting experience.
I don't really get the point of the choice at the end of the game though. No point really.
I'll try and get a few more Trophies, but I won't be going for Platinum since it seems far too tedious.

I can still use the PS3 controller just fine (FPS included), but as others have said, I just prefer the 360 controller for a lot of games (mainly FPS). I like the triggers attachments though because they stop my fingers from slipping off the L2/R2. I tend to rest my fingers there, so the triggers kind of hold them in place. And then when I press the button, I can press it all the way down with ease.

This is perfectly how I feel about the PS3 controller.

This is my preferred weapon for FPS games:
That makes no sense.
You're right, why would anybody not be using the Kinect for FPS games. Some people are just crazy I guess.

The PS3 controller works great for everything. I use it for FPS, racers, and other genres very well. It's my preferred controller.

Still looking for a fight stick, although I plan to just sell all my versions of SFIV.

If it's not button mashing I don't think you have a weakness
If it's not button mashing I don't think you have a weakness
I assure you, I do have a weakness.
Can you tell me what it is? That would be great
Sure.

Unlimited Trollzama does not block.
But how do I use that to my advantage?

Rush him down and pummel that bitch into submission.

It's what I do, anyway.
What hank said.
