I remember back in the days of Unreal Tournament when this shit would've been free.

And that was a better multiplayer game too, which I can say for certain without even playing Uncharted 3.
Good ole' days, etc.
and why is sony pandering to us like we're 5 years old? you wanna be fortune hunters, right guys!?
Too late, I already know where I can get my fortune hunter fix:
But it's not casual friendly. You pay for casual friendly.
Procedural demands more pay than casual zit penis.

Also, I'm with Chac... can't give 3,000 shits about Uncharted Multi... I played U2 Beta and U2 multi game... and I couldn't give 4,000 shits.
fuck that... the real shit is here already:

But Spelunky doesn't seem to be "An Indiana Jones Game", hard to be legit without Indiana Jones:
You can kill Indiana Jones in Spelunky so nuff said.
Well, I'm not saying he deserves it, but after that fourth movie... I'm not so sure I want any more Indiana Jones, best just to stick with the classics. So maybe Spelunky has got it right.
Good ole days my foot.

Unreal Tournament is still a better multiplayer game today.
That's not Wizorb.

It feels weird saying this, but Arkham City feels so big it's hard to know where to start with the missions. It's just all a little overwhelming.

anyone play Bastion? I might grab it on steam this weekend, getting impatient for the holiday sales.

i say this because the demo was pretty awesome.

Demo was AWESOME. alas I going to wait because I need to stop spending money.

Also, I still play games. Checkout the GT5 race night post-race cap.

Yeah, I loved the Bastion demo. Will pick it up on XBLA some time when it goes on sale. Too much other stuff to play, and far too little time to play it right now.

Arcade games are great for the summer gaming droughts etc.

You'll find nuggets.

I doubt they are golden.

and he's also the hater that people love to hate. I think he just should stick to making stuff and not say anything. I'd like his games more.

http://WolfOfVictoria.spreadshirt.com/

Rival Schools
Hotel Dusk

Tech Romancer

or whatever... >_
$45 of DLC?

--

and why is sony pandering to us like we're 5 years old? you wanna be fortune hunters, right guys!?
It's $5 cheaper than the Gears 3/Forza 4 season passes and $25 cheaper than CoD Elite, which is basically a season pass also.

I fail to see what's so bad about this if you're going to play U3 MP a lot.

Also no different than paying $45 for the usual 3 call of duty map packs.

I have no problem with it personally as long as games are launching with the same amount of MP maps etc. as in the past. And thus far they are. DLC just gives an option to keep the game feeling fresh longer for those who want to play it all year etc.

Have you bought a 30 oz. drink at Subway and tried it for yourself?

Granted you have to redeem a code on subway.com to get a token, put the token in on PSN and download a 3GB file, but still it's worth trying for $1.50 IMO. Who knows, you might like it. :)

I redeemed the token for multiplayer, downloaded it, and haven't touched it because I didn't really care for Uncharted 2 MP or the Uncharted 3 MP beta.

However, it's now sitting in a sorted folder called "Garbage", so I'd say I've gotten my money's worth.
I didn't say how long it would take me. We're talking about my life's work here. When I'm on my death bed and if I still haven't finished it you can finally complain that I never finished it.
You shouldn't put it on hold. It's an endeavor well worth pursuing.

I know what you mean. I got that same feeling from
Sonic 06

I ended up doing the mission where you find a kids dog lovable dog named Pele.

Yeah Rolento I figured it'd be up my alley.

Also... nice t-shirt designs! How do those shirts fit (I generally wear a medium for non slim/athletic fit tees, and a large otherwise)? I'm thinking about ordering one.

Don't buy one. was going to get one for you for your bday as a surprise but now just letting you know to hold off. just let me know/PM me which one you want. Keep in mind more designs will be goin up at some point. Plus I can do requests if you'd like in the style I'm doing.

I have only 1 that I got made for testing and I wear a small. It was a bit loose, but wasn't washed fro shrinking yet. I'd say get a large based around what I know.

I just grew up in the mid 90s + early 2000's, where MP games were larger scaled, had more options, free map packs (they were called patches back then), better communities, mods, and things like you know, recoil.

Compared to now, where most developers have jumped to consoles and embraced smaller maps, a satisfaction system based on rewards and not play, pushed the lone-wolf mentality within their communities, and made gunplay completely uninteresting thanks to how many accommodations are made so every player can perform well -- and of course, they ask you to pay increments of $15 along the way for maps that a 14 year old could create in a night. And now they're so cocky about their dark age shooter designs that they're asking for season passes, as if this is some thrill ride of a shooter that's never been done before.

So I'm only bitter for those reasons, though I'm glad people are getting levels of enjoyment they find worth the price.

100% spot on.
I miss playing with you guys, but I can never make the race nights anymore. :(
You don't play with us on skype during our racist nights, either :(

I understand those complaints, but the way I look at it is that paid dlc map packs are already a thing, so season passes are at least better than the current model where you get no discount for buying everything.

Plus, it seems most of your complaints are coming from the PC perspective, whereas console games have never had those features you mentioned.

I do love me some UT99 and UT2k4. Those were the days.

Dark Souls guide came in today. Shit looks awesome.
In the online game the volcanic vault translates into "Limited Edition Adventure Pack - The Burning Aqueduc Battle Arena". It lists one item which looks like the vault.

Just bought the PS3 version from BB to see what this "vault" is and how it shows up within the games plus picked up the 3DS version for my son as a present for Xmas. Good job Activision, you've gotten a ton of money outta me from this game already :/
Wait what site am I on again?
I need to start a new game.
