My name is William, but friends call me Bill.
More like the grilling master.

On a random note I'm glad Namco is patching SC5.
Or Billy or Mac or Buddy!
My full name is William Rutherford MacArthur III. But sometimes I get called Buddy. ^__^

I've heard I'm quite good at grilling.

Only thing I grilled all weekend was some burgers though.
I just got a game in the mail.

It has to do with marines and their broantics in space while getting killed.
Mass Effect?
While the line about the majestic beasts was pretty high quality, the general banter between you two was grating on my nerves last night -- couldn't tell you why, but it was. I think I decided I was done listening to it around the time you mentioned something about big bang theory girl who liked nerds and then decided she was okay because she had the right astrological sign.
It was probably because I was drunk.

Also, why the fuck is there so much texture pop-in in ME3? Honestly, it's fucking horrible. The level of technical glitching in this game is unacceptable.
Weird, but that's all it is.
I basically agree. I'm not calling for Capcom's head in all this. I'm most annoyed by the supposed lack of an "Ultimate" or "Super" version of SFxT down the road. I'd grab a complete version for $40 in 10 months.

You can have a complete version for $20 in 6 months.
That'll work too.
Yeah, except you already have it on your disc.

I've done worse when it comes to trying to hook Mikey up with girls.

And because they wanted it to be more like ME1.
Are you secretly a teenage girl?
No, but I may be getting blown up by a few females.

Wish I could remove the "up" part. . .
No, but I may be getting blown up by a few females.
I just imagined Hank as a giant male blow up doll with a beard.
Yes, Verizon. Unlimited text plan. Pure profit for those cocksuckers.
I kinda use my phone, to, yanno.. talk.

Text messaging is so "13-year old tweener talking about Justin Bieber"

I'm pretty sure texting is for any socially active person under the age of 30.

And you're posting this on a video game message board. ;)

But to be serious, communication is communication. And yes, I've had plenty of long phone calls.

I didn't text anyone until 2010 when I started doing census work and needing to be in constant, quick communication with people spread across rural counties in Virginia. I was thirty at the time. I still use it pretty frequently as most people I work with are like 7-10 years younger than I am.

EDIT - What character class is easiest to use to beat ME1 on Insanity? I'm starting my new run through the game sometime this week.
I'm pretty sure texting is for any socially active person under the age of 30.
I'd say under 50. Honestly. It is so commonplace these days that thinking it isn't a valid form of communication is nuts. I just got a Happy St Paddys day text from my 70 something year old grandma.

Joel, I am not drinking tonight. I may be on later tho. I gotta lay down first. fuckin' food coma, holy shit.

Also, this may or may not surprise you, but not a single one of those girls responded...

That's a damn shame, you majestic beast.

Honestly, if one of those girls responded, my mind would have been blown. They were tens no matter where you are. That's why I sent them to Joel, because I knew I would have no chance anyway.

It's kinda like going to the casino. You know you won't win, but you just say "fuck it" and throw half your paycheck in anyway.

Nah, you just need a wingman at the casino who will remind you "dude, that stack of chips is worth more than double what you started with". I honestly forget what the little pile of plastic is worth. This is how I went up from $50 -> $200 and then lost it all. :(

But I feel your point.

We we fight clubbing it tonight, boys? Or should I fire up some single player?

Got that Denon receiver from Woot today. It's pretty nice. Cleared out a lot of wire clutter as everything is now just HDMI except for the Wii. So got rid of a couple sets of component cable a bunch of optical cables.

Love that the volume control goes up/down in .5 db increments. My old receiver didn't have that so it was hard to get the volume just right, tended to always be too loud or too quiet.

Who cares about Joel's baby?

The question is when are you getting on Nadd's Sarcophagus?

I called Hank once. But then I just breathed into the receiver and hung up

I have that on PS3.

I'm 33 and text some. But not a ton--just have the 250 texts per month plan and have went over it once in 5+ years of having it. I'd generally rather call or e-mail than text.

Have been texting back and forth a lot with this girl I've started dating--who's a couple years older than me oddly enough. But even with that I'm at like 130 texts this month (my bills roll over on the 6th)
