Wait til he can buy boss armor...
I have almost maxed out elite armor even if it is weaker in terms of defense I still prefer that look, I'm putting more into strength to use a better shield than that stamina shield though. I've just been going around collecting every pyro spell I can find. I'm liking giant fireball and firestorm is alright but takes so long to use
Losing Humanity was much worse that losing souls.
I feel the same
Don't GUNNM, it may not be me, but someone will backstab you when you have 99 humanity.

Also Hank, more news about your favorite show Teen Mom!
lol What a dumb slut. Let's be honest here the real victims are the poor kids that get to grow up around that goddamn trainwreck.
Losing Humanity was much worse that losing souls.
Yes, though if it was late game, there were a couple of spots where you could farm humanity pretty easily.

Pyromancy was the shit even more so before the patch. I never cared much for the "choas" spells, but great fireball, fireorb, combustion were all clutch. Iron Flesh used to be too.

As for armor, I was quite partial to Ornstein's set. Though now when I see him I can't help but think of that douchebag Jamie Lannister.
Pyromancy is awesome at the lowbies, but after SL 120 it just doesn't scale well.
I'm not sure how high I pushed the character I did platinum with -- I might not have gone much higher than 150 and it was still powerful enough before the patch to be my go to weapon for bosses. Iron Flesh > eat my fire.

PvP is a nightmare... the only fun I ever had with it was watching other's grief people in Anor Londo (painting room rafters) using the Dragonbone Bow. :D

When I played some PvP it was a swamp of fog rings and whatever else was working in the original pre-patch games.

I involuntary signed up for PVP battle when I wore that stupid cat's ring thinking I could summon it during a boss battle I kept getting summoned to the forest and getting killed.

And I'm just PVE I have no desire to duel online and I'm also low level so pyro is still good for now I'm at crystal cave getting killed by those damn moths.

Closer, but still not right.
Should be free.
Also it doesn't make the combat any better. :p

Now if we could somehow get a Dante costume for Raiden in MGR:R? That would make it better.

Dunno why I'm watching scr stream over playing dark souls right now

But that gameplay is even further from DMC than the reboot.

I starting to think that you're not even sure of what you want.

I want a competent action game in the spirit of DMC3/DMC4/NG:B/NG2/Bayonetta.
Simple as that.

Hopefully, because it's been a few years since Bayonetta, Platinum figured out how to avoid slowdown in high intensity areas and MGR:R will deliver.

Oh, then play DmC.

Every season should end with the parents being executed and the children being given to packs of wolves to be raised.

Meth use and future burglary rates would plummet.

Man, Latif got rolled by Infiltration, he didn't know what to do.

How long has it been since the last Grandia game was released? I could use another one...and on a similar note, how are the recent Tales games with the battle system/story? Vesperia has me hooked.
DmC is a competent action game.

Rising will make it look like shit though. Rising just looks...damn.
Disagree.
Demo did NOT feel like an action game.
Okay, Zeki.
Zeki loves DmC. Why are you comparing me to him? :whistle2:S
I'd also love a new Dark Cloud and Skygunner game...
I never gave Dark Cloud 2 a shot, but I thought Dark Cloud was repetitive and boring. It's one of the few games I just dropped in the middle cause it wasn't fun. Every "dungeon" was the same bland Cave type setting as far as I got and the combat was just awful. I wanted a new Actraiser... I did not get one.

Speaking of... I'd LOVE a new Actraiser in the vein of the original... not sure the sequel was as well received. Was that an Enix property? They should make it a new title for PSN/XBLA/Steam.
Also, I loved 7th Saga. Never finished it, would love to see something done with that IP too.

Dark Cloud 2 was MUCH better than the first one in every aspect, except for the occasional grindfest. Unfortunately, I've never played Actraiser :/

I wish a chunk of the Sega Saturn library could get a makeover and re-release at the least; Radiant Silvergun was a nice start.
Guys, sorry I'm so dead all the time :(
We should really hang more, man :( I miss you.

I actually miss all of you. Sorry I've been so busy, guys! I'll be on Skype sometime this weekend and hopefully we can all talk. Having a girlfriend that's actually local keeps me busier than I thought it would.

Also, realized today that I want a game where Pepsiman fights Q.

Sega has been doing a lot of rereleases lately. Even did Dragon Force as a PS2 classics on PSN. Which of course will never be offered in America, lol

So, I started Lego Lord of the Rings last night and goddamn, it may be the best LotR game since Two Towers on Gamecube/Xbox/PS2. They manage to perfectly blend the movies with the Lego sense of humor that you'd expect and they use all of the dialogue from the movies. Cutscene audio is literally taken straight from the movies and mixed with Lego-y sound effects. It's fucking crazy awesome.

Also, Sauron is a Bionicle to show he's huge compared to regular people. That's fucking AWESOME.

I saw that. Sadly is doesn't have any sort of english option like the Phantasy Star Collection that also is on their store.
I actually miss all of you. Sorry I've been so busy, guys!
I feel the same way Joel, my excuse is that I've been doing a lot of job searching stuff lately. But I finally have an offer that I'm going to accept, but I need to look for a new place that's closer since commuting to work from this location would be a nightmare (and something I want to do for as limited a time as possible) so I need to find a place fairly quickly. Me and my roommate have found a couple places more in the city and a bit south of San Francisco to check out though so I'll be doing that in the next few days hopefully and then assuming one of those places is as good as it looks I'll be moving for the second time in under two months :cold: (going to probably just hire movers to move our entire apartment this time though instead of trying to do much of any of it ourselves).
Why doesn't capcom do the same fucking thing? God damn idiots
I don't know, seems like Capcom is constantly rereleasing stuff. I was kind've disappointed in the Final Fight thing though. You include...Magic Sword with it? Capcom likes trolling.

Would rather see FF2 and FF3 with it. Which were both still really good games. Or just one big mash up, all stages and characters in one game.

Magic Sword was the reason I bought that collection, thank you very much. :p

Cool. It's on my list of Lego games to get. I think Lego Batman 2 is coming first though. I've heard that Lego LOTR is a bit short though.

Apparently they're making a Marvel Lego game. They could be pretty cool.

How expensive is hiring movers? I always assumed that was what rich people did.
How expensive is hiring movers? I always assumed that was what rich people did.
Haven't gotten a quote since we still need to figure out where we are moving, but that typically depends on the distance and what company you get to do it. When I moved from NYC to SF I had my moving expenses covered and it cost about $2600. I had a friend who just recently moved down to LA from SF and I think he said that cost him around $1000 so hopefully it will be that or cheaper I'm hoping. The main issue with trying to move ourselves is that neither me or my roommate own a car so even going to pick up a moving truck is a bit of a problem, and I'm the only one with a license and I haven't driven in like 2 years, haha.

Would be a better result, I'm sure. Until you get a tribe of half wolf - half white trash trailer park rednecks with guns taking over the south. Actually. . .That would bee an improvement too. Half wolf >>>> no wolf.
I'd also love a new Dark Cloud and Skygunner game...
I'd be fine with Dark Cloud 2 HD, since I never finished it.
Guys, sorry I'm so dead all the time :(
It's understandable, Mikey. You just need to start doing cocaine. That'll perk you right up.

Love Dragon Force, so I'd totally buy that if they put it out in English.
Why doesn't capcom do the same fucking thing? God damn idiots
Because they don't like money. And Capcom's full of bad decisions and trolling. It's what they do.
I've been here this whole time, all alone. No Leda videos or anything.

I've had to drown my sorrows into Crotch's board games.
I'm sorry.
How expensive is hiring movers? I always assumed that was what rich people did.
I'm pretty sure it's NOT cheap. You're right about that as far as I know. When my company picks up the tab for moving a single person with stuff to fill an apartment, I want to say it was like 3-4k back in 2002. So yeah. Make it a family and a house and who knows. Probably ridiculous.
