and Rei, yeah, we played the same game, and I just found it played really... not so great. I dunno, I was hopin' for something more along the lines of Melty Blood...
 
Haven't played Melty Blood yet, though I want to.

I thought AH played great. It's not going to replace my top tier fighters, but I enjoyed it. Plus even if it was mediocre I'd still buy it. Definitely going to support Atlus bringing over fighting games.

I would get the Tennis game, but alas I have no gamecrazy's around here.

I am getting back into the upgrade PC mood.

I don't think I am gonna play another console game until GTA4.

I just love custom maps and such on PC, you cant get that kind of stuff on a console.

Also go listen to new Giant Bomb Podcast.

the only adventure detective game I can have any interest in is still hotel dusk. Ace Attorney games just don't appeal to me, though I give credit to it for doing what it's supposed to do.


on a side note, I got a really random free copy of Kameo in the mail from microsoft that I never expected to get. clunky as shit of a game. Makes me with rare would just die a happy death or at least not fuck up with killer instinct 3.
 
I finished Uncharted and shipped a DVD set out today. I also played some Saint's Row. I forgot how much fun that game is. I also forgot how much it tears when you move in any direction. I hope I get Persona 3 soon.

I haven't played any EAX games, but all it really is is DSP settings to simulate environments.
I don't even what X-Fi does. I just wanted to take the proc load off of the CPU.

I've been looking into other cards, but mainly for stereo output for music listening. I'd think an X-Fi is good enough to play games...

All the P3: FES hype got me to pre-order it. -_-; I never finished original P3...
 
played more MGS3 tonight. got right up to the part where you talk to the drunk guy who
invented metal gear
. It's fun to blow away the entire army with the patriot after getting caught. I want to play the whole game doing that, but I'm trying to play for real.

Then I played some more Sigma. Rachel's got some fun moves, but her levels have the worst pacing...If it weren't for the 60 fiend challenge and some out of the way fights in one of them, there would be like 2 fights + the Gamov boss fight.

I'm scared I won't become half as obsessed with NG2. :lol:



edit: FES is out soon, eh? I've got it pre-ordered...I think that's what I'll play in May before the June-ton hits

He's currently editing some film with me for Alanzo Morning (more boring than it sounds).

damn,I bought it at ebay last thursday and paid on thursday.The seller basically had friday and saturday to ship it but didn't until monday!What a $$$!
 
Got a chance to try Burnout Paradise and can safely say it was a worthwhile purchase. It's still Burnout, it's still fun to me, and I'm glad I picked it up. I do miss Aftertouch and the Traffic Checking, though.

EAX does add some environmental depth to the sound. 5.1 or no. And fancy things like EAX Advanced HD make shit sound better, not just with more effects. I love my X-Fi Platinum, especially when combined with my Sennheiser headphones. My motherboard has some Realtek HD audio, but it's sounds muddy and muffled compared to the X-Fi. The only thing is that Creative's Vista drivers aren't that great, but when's the last time Creative had ANY great drivers?

Also, you might want to wait if you're planning on going all out on some sound card. The X-Fi 2's coming out sometime soon.

I played some Army of Two PS3 with a friend. It was amusing and had some good ideas, but it needed some polish.
 
OK, this makes no sense. Nintendo is releasing a new Gamecube controller in Wii-white.

To make things more awesome, Perfect Prosecutor is taking the adventure back to straight point-and-click. My avatar is elated at Gumshoe being the sidekick. A new Band Brothers game was also announced.

Perfect Prosecutor looks like an instant buy to me. Loved all the other games.

Sucks right now because I have to sit and wait for UPS to come with mah 360. They called me last night to confirm someone would be here to sign. Sadly I have no idea what time they will sneak upon me. :cry:
 
Last night sucked.

I was playing TF2, and I get a call from my friend saying he needs me to come get him out of Jail.
The cops pulled him over for an expired county sticker, and found firearms without a permit, underage possession of alcohol, and mary-j.

He is fucked.

I also want to go play more TF2.

Was kinda interested at first, but now that I see it's not just a straight text adventure, I'm very interested :) I hope it ties in with the Phoenix Wright arc.
 
hmm... so, what button does one press to open the elevator in MGS. I'm just after Revolver in 1, and I couldn't get the elevator I originally came down in to open. I can only imagine that I was just being hopelessly stupid as I was 1/2 asleep.

Assassin's Creed is only fun if you ignore the dumb ass story and shit voice acting. The worst thing is that you cannot skip ANY cutscenes. And then, the fun comes from running around a city and slaughtering guards.

I gots that Enemy Territory free with my 8800GT, but I have barely played it. What I played was OK though.

PRESS THE ACTION BUTTON TO CALL THE ELEVATOR DOWN.

i think it's circle next to the console thingy next to the elevator. press it twice and it comes down right away!

Also, I was debating on getting another 8800GT for SLI when I upgrade my PC. I know you've been using it, so how is it? Is it worth it?
 
Its worth it if you run a higher resolution, and it gives a good performance boost for crisis.

Somegames dont support it though, and its much better in XP then vista.
