Man, Dodonpachi Daioujou is tough as fuck. Holy shit. I only played a few rounds of it, but I can only get to the third stage mid-boss on that one credit :(

It feels way different from Ketsui. Definitely takes some adjusting.

Yeah, that game is hard as fuck. I was just messing around with it a few days ago since I hadn't touched my import PS2 in a while and I couldn't get past first level without a continue. :(

Feeling a little burnt out on Battle Network after putting 9+ hours into it over the past week, but I wanna get it done before Dead Rising 2 arrives and I only have 2 more scenarios to go.

Just won Patapon 2 from Subway!

My brother won LocoRoco 2. Thing is, he only has a 1gig stick it won't fit on. Nevertheless he refuses to relinquish it and plans on getting a bigger stick.

I won Patapon 2, Loco Roco 2, and a Subway bag. It was weird, I thought they were all tier 1 and you could only get one, but I kept getting emails saying I could redeem for them after initially winning Patapon.
 
Did anyone else get that invite to the Dead Space 2 Multiplayer Beta? sucks that it is for the PS3...since mine is kind of busted. But I might borrow my sisters for a bit to check it out.

I beat Mission 6 in Halo Reach last night on solo Legendary, getting close to the end of the game now; but damn some of those fights are hard, haha.

I also played the Quantum Theory demo since you guys kept talking about it; and the aiming in that game makes me feel like I'm drunk. Like it starts off way to slow and then accelerates way to fast, so it feels like all the aiming has a strange lag to it.
 
I went to the drive-in for "free movie night" and ended up seeing the double feature of "Grownups" and "Toy Story 3." I gotta tell ya, Toy Story 3 was a lot better than I was expecting. SHUT UP JER JSP.

Grownups was also really good too. The commercials for it made it look like complete dog shit, but it was very well-done and full of heart, which surprised me since it had Rob Schneider and David Spade in it.

I was as surprised as you are. Think of it as your typical Adam Sandler movie, but aimed at families, with the ratio being 70/30 in favor of the parents.

I figured there would be lots of Kevin James "lolfat" jokes (and there are quite a few, even coming from James himself), but most of the shit-talk jokes are aimed at Rob Schneider's character. It's like bizarro world!

The new right stick controls are interesting for sure--the learning curve is high, but I can see how the payoff could be good if you stick with it. I personally had a hard time getting shots to go in, even with the timing. I suppose if there were sliders in the full game that could compensate the FTA/FG %s with getting used to the shot stick, I could have more fun with it.

Still, I personally prefer 2K overall, but at least EA is trying. Maybe next year...
 
Almost done with Spidey, finally. fuck playing it on hard, I can't wait to go through on normal and just web sling into everyone.

Is anyone planning on seeing Legends of the Guardians?
 
No, because I heard Emilie de Ravin does a voice, and I don't want to have sexy thoughts about owls.

My mom just called and told me she's gonna pay for basically all of my Dead Rising 2 pre-order because she wasn't able to get me anything for my birthday back in August, aww fuck yeah.
