Yes and it happens in batches. You'll be waiting for at least a couple months, most likely. I think I waited over a year.

Oh fuck. The boss for chapter 5-3 on professional is going to be a pain in the nutbag. >_
.........I have close to 100 PS3 games, and that number is only growing >.> I couldn't resist RE5 Gold for $20 so I picked that up too. Now if anyone wants to play that, I can join! Im going to try the Move controls out with it, so for that I am pretty excited :D
After Black Friday. I'll be getting closer to 40 ps3 games. Still haven't got my Prince Of Persia from Gamefly. Damn them and there slow shipping methods. Amazon prime spoils me.
Yea took me like a year... no joke..
Took me a week, guess I got lucky, LOL!

Singularity for $30? No thanks. *goes to order it from newegg for $20* Would have been nice to get the novel with it too, but uh... no.

Only took me like a week or two.

Finished AssBro. Now back to the Sly Collection until Majin comes in.

Vacation is fun, but it'd be nice to get a little BLOPs in. My replacement Slim is apparently on it's way back to me.
Well, fuck you 5-3. Only chapter 6 of RE5 is standing between me and platinum now. I'll take care of that in the morning.
And then after that, we can play more coop.

hmmm.... man, being home is fun cuz I can see my friends and all, but I kinda wish I was back at my apt. Cuz, like... I have all the fun stuff there :whistle2:/

Not that I don't bring the party wherever I go, because I totally do but uh... yeah.
Took me a week, guess I got lucky, LOL!

Lol damn. It probably didnt take me a full year, but I signed up and waited a couple months with no verification so I gave up. And since you have to use an official email to register I never checked it until the next year when I saw I was approved.

Neogaf is no fun, it's a great place to find game news/announcments without visiting multiple sites but the forums are bs from what I've seen. They don't take kindly to trolling, which sucks because that's the fun part of Internet forums.

Resonance of fate is super long I'm guessing 30 hours in and only on chapter 7 of 15 I think.

um, 1990 was 20 years ago  I have a feeling that's the joke, but I don't get it.
Does neoGaf have to approve you before you can join their website? Im still waiting for my verification email >.>
Yeah, they tend to approve people in groups and those groups are completely random.

but they also give people in the industry priority and sometimes approve of them on the spot. Have someone contact a mod and tell them you're on the Tester...maybe that counts as working in the industry!

I keep on forgetting to pick up the sly collection. I loved the original, but never got into the sequels. I didn't see any deals on it this weekend, surprisingly.

You're a part of that creepy thread in the OT, aren't you?

people who only waited like a week to get approved for gaf must have signed up right before they did the next big batch of approval. most people seem to sign up on the other end of the window... :|

Stumbling into SSFIV for $10 was my 2nd best BF deal.
Fuuuuuuck guys. I ordered an iPad last night.
Was it like $150+ off retail or something? Why wouldn't you wait for 2 months until iPad2 specs were announced?

Ours with 3G has been a lifesaver on this trip so far. Good companion to the netbook, and very happy with it so far.
Was it like $150+ off retail or something? Why wouldn't you wait for 2 months until iPad2 specs were announced?
Just the standard $41 off retail from their little sale.
I needed one now anyway, and iOS device prices don't really drop that much when new versions are announced.

Heck, ebay prices for used 3GS phones are crazy right now and pretty much covered the iPad cost by selling my 3GS and my old 3G.

I plan to sell this one when iPad 2 comes out, I fully expect to get a good price for it.

Yeah, I just got the standard 16gb wifi one as I want to get at least 32GB and 3G on the second gen model.

I'm pretty excited to start using some of the cool music apps that were iPad only.

Cool music apps? Which did you have in mind?

I like...

Pulse news for an RSS reader

Netflix is way better on an iPad than a phone

Pages is nice for taking notes

iAnnotate is hands down the best PDF viewer and annotator

Good Reader is a cheap file storing app

As for games...

Rage HD, Plants vs Zombies, Texting of the bread HD (maybe should be called typing...), Chu Chu Rocket, Age of Zombies, Cut the Rope, Scrabble, Reckless Racing, Angry Birds and Bit. Trip are all worth checking out.

A lot of those are .99 - 2.99 right now...
It's showing up as $132.09 for me :(
Click on "used" and it's the one from Warehouse Deals. I've bought from Warehouse Deals a ton, the item is guaranteed to work... it just means the box probably has a ding or dent in it.

Hot Pursuit is so great. I feel like I'm going to be ignoring GT5 because if it which is kinda sad. Sure I'll go back to it though, eventually.

Trying to not buy any more games until next year though. Right now I have more than enough to play.

I've already pre-bought a few like the ipad versions of ChuChu and Bit.Trip.Beat. Also picked up Sketchbook and Star Walk (everyone should have this)

Have you tried the iCab browser?

As far as music apps, it's just music creation tools I want to mess around with without spending thousands on the actual equipment. Was reading about them on the gaf iPad thread.

This guy mentions a few here with a couple pics:

GT5 with a wheel is amazing.

Too bad the lady friend is going to kill me when she sees a steering wheel in our living room.

The only mistake you made was calling it "our living room," when you know damn well that it's your living room, and you'll just have to tell that conniving bitch what for.

I missed Time Crisis Razing Storm when it was 22.99

Now its 22.99 for a used one at the Amazon warehouse deals. If anyone is interested.

Also they have Medal Of Honor for 360 at 21.99 used, but as some have mentioned you might end up buying the code to play online.

Naw man, I'm ghetto. I'm small time. You should read LiK Chan's blog. Now that dude is some serious ballin'.

Bah you hypocrite!

A wheel is one thing I definitely don't have. To really make the most of one, IMO, you need chair and rig to support it, which I can't afford the $$$ or the space.

After scouring the deep reaches of the internet, i.e. GAF. I have to wonder... what's with the hate for Other M? I thought it had the best gameplay of any Metroid game.

People don't like it when things change in Nintendo games. They just want the same thing over and over and over and over and over.

Well most people have the opposite opinion about the gameplay (including myself), and the story was atrocious, so that is why there is so much hate. You're perfectly free to like it though, and I'm glad that someone does.

Not true. I loved Metroid Prime and several other re-imaginings of established series. Metroid Other M just has several issues that I don't like at all.

Story? All I cared about was the gameplay and it was the first Metroid game I really enjoyed. Maybe Metroid fans just don't like it, I know I'm not a Metroid fan.

MP has been the same though since the first one, and people want more of the same.

Have any other Nintendo series has re-imaginings?
