I'm taking a break from Radiant Historia so that I can start up Ys I & II Chronicles.
Been playing a lot more NBA 2K11 lately as I reached the new year with my player now. I also restarted my MJ career so that I could use the new players that the Cavs have, though I still lost both games as I'm figuring out how best to use him.
I did the math and it's impossible to ever get on Cleveland in the career mode. They don't have any picks, so I'd maybe be able to play for them if I played so poorly that I went undrafted. It's still a huge flaw that I don't have the option to just pick which team I'd like to play for. Charlotte and Denver also went without draft picks, so there are three teams (10% of the league) that are off-limits because of that oversight.
Starting this March and running through the end of August, Plus members will be able to download Altered Beast, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Streets of Rage 2, Golden Axe 2, and Comix Zone for free. And get this, they'll have access to them before those sorry people who didn't fork out the cash for a subscription. If you are one of these people, the titles will sell for $4.99 a piece.
You guys are fast, by the time I get my computer back I'll feel like a guy who spent 20 years in jail and can't reconnect to the new changed world when he gets out.

Me and icebeast will have two children already by the time you're back.
Not really, you could problem buy one of the sega collections dirt cheap for those...
Getting Catherine just because.
How is having a digital copy of a classic game for free NOT awesome. (1) I don't spend any money to get it, since I've already paid for a subscription and (2) I don't have to have a stupid Sega Genesis collection disc bumbling around that I have to put in if I want to play something of it?
Platform matters? Last I checked when both were deemed "teh rarez" and sold out, they were going for about $100 a piece.
Before Capcom put some back in stock the PS3 version seemed a bit rarer.

Eh, to each their own, but I like it.
I'm just saying it's not awesome to see SEGA milk the same games over and over again.
I must be missing something early on in Ys I. I explored the first village, talked to everyone, and pretty much was told nothing about what to do next. So I ran north until I found another city that actually had shops and more people to talk to that told me to talk a fortune teller who had a quest. The problem is that she required me to have a sword, armor, and shield to be able to take her quest, which cost more than thousand bucks that I had to start off. I bought the sword and armor but still wasn't allowed to fight enemies, so I ran around past a lot of enemies to reach a third village to the northeast. Their mayor asked me to go to the tower up north to talk to some thieves where I was killed by enemies that were blocking the path since I couldn't fight back. What did I do wrong, besides the dying part?
Basically if you have the retro map pack installed, you can't vote what map to play next round, and you replay the map that finished.
In order to choose a new map you have to change your 'map selection preferences'.
Wow, that's pretty stupid, they need to fix that shit ASAP.
I'm mostly worried about telling him because:
another not directly related relative is full on transitioning and when my Grandma was told she apparently kind of flipped out; and my dad talks to my Grandma a lot since he is the eldest child in his family. In addition I don't really know how he would react, I would guess it wouldn't be a problem (but I'm still worried) so I've been avoiding it.
in Super SF4 on PS3 you didn't even see the alt costumes online if you didn't buy them but the person using them did right? Did they fix that for MvC3?
Depends on whether or not they're on the disc since Capcom doesn't seem to give a damn.
Huh. More PSN+ awesomeness.
in' sweet, may have to turn on auto-renewal now with all the shit they've given me.
Wow I didn't know we were already planning to be parents. I'm so happy.
RRRRRAAAAAAGGGGGGGEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those of you with bulletstorm on PC.. how does it run?
A buttery smooth 60fps at 1080p with all the settings on high and 4x AA, so basically it's an unreal engine game on the PC.
Needs and HD remake/collection.
Agreed, but only if they keep the original translation.
Wow, Crytek really ed up. Apparently, there's no DirectX 11 mode in Crysis 2. They're patching it in. Which means that at launch, it's only going to look much better than the console versions
Quite well, actually. I've got a 5870 and haven't had any frame rate issues with the game maxed out. And it looks ridiculously good on PC.
What proc do you have?
I really need to build a new pc. I have a C2D E6600 and 460GTX and they really aren't cutting it anymore.
The guy in Shadows of the Damned looks like a retarded Benicio del Toro.
I'm not expecting much out of it, looks fun though.

460 is good, it's that E6600 that's holding you back. Need a quad. @__@
I'm still rocking a Phenom II 940 at 3.6 GHz and an overclocked 275. Still runs most shit excellently. Imma toss in a 570 sometime this year and be good for a bit, wait and see on new processors and shit.
Apparently Infamous 2 will let people create their own missions and share them online. Now I'm alot more interested in the game... maybe enough to get it day 1.
Crysis 2 runs pretty well on my rig @ 1920x1080 and on the 'gamer' setting, whatever the hell that means.

See, that really doesn't interest me. I can't imagine the tools being robust enough to make it a good experience.
