GGT 96 wants pics of JSP's gf!

I mean, it's technically impressive what they've done with the PSP, but you can't possibly argue that the gameplay is as solid in those games as in the console iterations.
I mean, it's technically impressive what they've done with the PSP, but you can't possibly argue that the gameplay is as solid in those games as in the console iterations.
I agree, most games on PSP aren't as good as their console counterparts. But sometimes when a game can benefit due to being portable, that will give me a reason to play it. Now that doesn't happen very often, but for me, racing games are fun to play when I'm not sitting at home.

So like, I transcribed like an entire year's worth of stuff from my journal into word (the stuff about Flag Girl atleast) and was going to post it all as a blog, but decided against posting THAT much of Flag Girl saga, also decided against posting it as a blog. I'll just give you guys what happened at Prom, which was close to the end of the Flag Girl story.

I sat down just as the lights all dimmed and the DJ came on the speakers, "Yo, this is a couples only slow song. Time for ya'll single cats to get off the dance floor."

Being reminded you're alone at a dance like that isn't a thing that feels great.

Not by any means.

I sat for a moment or two and watched as all the people I've spent so much time with lately paired up and got close.

It felt like to each person, there was a match.

I couldn't stand it.

I got up and walked out to the covered courtyard.

I took off my glasses and began cleaning them. They had become really fogged up because of the muggy weather...

A silk gloved hand touched mine.

"Joel?"

I turned and saw a faded pink blot at my side.

I replaced my glasses and instantly got a smile.

"Gabriel? Wow.."

I was so surprised by how beautiful she looked in her dress. Most girls really can't make pink ruffles look good.

"Thanks, haha.. I know, pink ruffles seems kind of grade-school, but they seemed so fashinably retro that I couldn't pass it up." She said smiling.

"Well, you look really.. ah, gorgeous."

"Oh, thank you, and you look very handsome yourself! That green vest really makes your eyes pop! Who's your date tonight?" She asked, smiling at me.

"I kind of came alone.."

"Why? Amanda didn't want to go with you?"

"Would you want to go to Prom with a guy that left you on your 18th birthday?"

"Good point... But really, no backup? Who'd you originally want to go with?"

I kind of winced and quickly began to try to think of a name, any name...

Who to say? Vanessa? Auz? 'Becca? You?

"Me?"

I didn't want to answer.

"Yes, Gabby."

"Joel, I'm sorry.. I mean, we work well. Great, amazingly great friends.. but you're not my type. You're kind of.."

"Nerdy? Hipster? Probably more..."

"Well, I feel I can be truthful, so I'll go ahead and answer on it, I prefer more atheletic guys..."

"I know.. It's okay."

Then I noticed something..

"Where your date?"

"Well.."

"Did he do it again?"

"Look, I'm sure he didn't meant to.. He just... forgot." She answered.

"He forgot a night like tonight? Your one and only Prom?" I asked, glancing up at the sky as clouds began to roll in.

"I know it sounds bad, but Joel.. Things'll be okay. I'm sure. He'll make it up." She assured me.

"Okay, Gab.. I hope it does work out for you."

She took my hand again and asked, "Hey, we could always share a small dance... If you wanted that is." I smiled and took her hand and bowed.

"Well, milady, I would be honored to share a dance with you." My night had been made.

We began to dance and got closer.. Until I felt a tapping on my shoulder.

I turned around to be shocked by the sight of Seth...

"I'll take it from here, champ." He said, with a sly smile.

She giggled, "Oh, Seth!" and leapt into his arms.

They kiss and head into the ballroom, when they open the door the night is split with the sad sounds of "Graduation" by Vitamin C.

I stay outside for a while longer before heading back in to dance with as many girls as I could.

So we spent some time after this in College, on the days we randomly saw each other we usually sat around talking for hours about what was going on in our lives and about how she was also in the middle of a long distance relationship (she go into it 2 weeks after I got into mine, funny enough), with a guy that she hadn't seen in couple of years.

NOW FOR GAME TALK! Shit, I am bad at BlazBlue. Seriously, I suck at this game. Going to seriously attempt getting better this week, and if I can't then I'm probably going to go trade it into GS.

Same, although I'll mention a few I don't think anyone said yet:

LA Noire
Red Faction Armageddon
FEAR 3
The Witness
Ms. Splosion Man
XBLA/PSN version of Might and Magic Clash of Heroes
SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked
Witcher 2
Alice Madness Returns
Deus Ex Human Revolution

I could do that, mang. I used to do that with my other friends.

Nope, TRUFAX. I remember Prom verrrrry vividly and it does match my "night of" writing of the ordeal. I've even got all of the stuff from right when I got to Prom to how the night ended if you'd want to read it.

The only thing I did was fix some grammatical mistakes I made in the original texts.

Edit: Nope, she never called me a nerd (save for the first or second time we worked together in Economics class). I don't think that's a bad thing, so if she called me one I would have remembered.

Joel you write your diary like a soap opera, haha, that's a good thing though because it made your life sound really interesting. :D

Racing games, RPGs, and Dreamcast ports work really well on the PSP because they fit the control scheme really well. Everything else depends on whether it's well-designed to fit the PSP or not.

Thanks, Icebeezy! It's really just my style of writing + how daily events go, though. I didn't think it sounded soap opera-ish.

Edit: This week I'll take the fun parts from my Journal and make a list so I can tell them as GGT bedtime stories.

Yep! I've played a lot of trash, but it makes the gems that much more special to me. I'm looking forward to Thor, too. At least for a playthrough. I agree though, most of the movies coming out look great and I'm psyched for them! All except X-Men: First Class look great.

Whenever I hear the word "Monster" nowadays I think of Lady Gaga.

God, I need more Gaga in my life. I'm thinking of buying this, getting it framed and putting it up in my room.

I was iffy on X-men first class until I saw the trailer. The trailer didn't seem too bad. I personally think green lantern is gonna turn out poorly.

Ranking of this summer's COMIC BOOK bash. How I think they will rank.

1. Green Lantern (its by the guy that directed, Goldeneye and Casino Royale)
2. X-Men First Class
3. Cowboys and Aliens
4. Captain America
5. Thor
6. Priest (though this movie will be totally worth it for Karl Urban)

I'm really thinking that First Class will be shit because of the continuity problems, only as a comic movie, though.

It'll probably be a good popcorn flick.
