Played some more Bastion last night. Got all the core pieces and the first shard.

Played some more ME2 the past couple of nights. Did the Kasumi mission last night, wanted to get her in the party early on as that DLC came out after I finished my to playthroughs on the X360 so I never had a chance to use her much. Did Mordin's recruitment mission the night before.

I finished that up the other night, I rather enjoyed it.

I might work on a second playthrough for the other cheevos I missed.
Shoot, Fight Club doesn't work on Vita games either.
My test purchase cost full price. Oh well, time to look out for deals.
I thought everybody lost the ECA exploit?

Just send me a PM or post up in here or something with what you'd like to play and when, beezy -- I'll try to accommodate your schedule; I'm usually up til at least 2am EST, if not 3.

I vote 9PM to 10PM EST, because that's always when Josh and I start. Josh can tell you all about how Ibuki is stupid in AE.

Ok, ya, we'll see when I get home tonight (I expect not early given how long this same thing took last time, haha). Basically I need to get a prescription (which has never taken less than 30 minutes even when they were the ones that called me to tell me it was ready, I kind of wish I had picked a different pharmacy), then I'm going to pick up a few comics, and I'm also going to stop at Trader Joe's to pick up groceries. Then I'll have to make dinner. And hopefully it isn't going to keep raining later today.

Assuming the pharmacy goes quickly (wouldn't hold my breath) I might be on somewhat early (well... for me, sort of), so if I get back around 9 or 10pm my time and you want to switch to something or you're still playing AE I'll join you guys. Otherwise we can do it Saturday evening, which I should be totally free for.
So yeah...I REEEEEALLY want a vita now.

The music alone is worth it.
It looks interesting, and the music is good. But if that video is any indication, it seems like the game controls horribly (or maybe is just confusing to control), since it seems like that player was missing things all the time and sliding and floating all over the place unintentionally.

i could play any great game for you and make it look terrible by being bad at it.

animation and art direction look stunning, hope it comes to PSN =D

This is true, but I'm going to assume the person playing wasn't a new gamer, nor were they intentionally trying to make the game look terrible. And just to be more specific, if you watch combat (which I'm guessing is very basic button mashing), the lock on seems to be messed up, there were plenty of times where attacks would just miss, or go off when the character wasn't even close to an enemy.

And if you watch the flying parts there are plenty of times where the character just runs into stuff (again maybe it is just hard to control). Sliding also doesn't look like it is easy to control either, seems like you can't really turn it (but again maybe that isn't easy to control either). Just in general it doesn't seem like the controls are as tight as they could be.

Like I said, the game looks cool and sounds great, and the concept is cool; but the gameplay footage in that video has me worried that they didn't really nail the controls. We'll see, I might get it whenever I get a Vita (which probably isn't going to be all that soon).

My mind immediately went to any press preview of a fighter.

Dude, you can buy it on PSN!
FOR YOUR VITA!

ME2 is *really* pissing me off.
fuck the Archangel recruitment mission to hell. fuck IT HARD. I was doing well and Archangel decides to just stand there, no cover, while an enemy just fires on him until his stupid little health bar died.

I played a good bit of Simpsons Arcade today and enjoyed it. I have a ton of nice memories about that game from childhood and it felt good to relive a few of them.

Hey, Cheddahz got a PS3! He's going to buy Third Strike to play with us!

Add him on PSN everyone!

You know, if I had ANY doubts about this relationship I'm in working, they just vanished. fuck yeah! :applause:
So Pepsi and Jack? I don't have any Coke. Sounds risky. . .

Moar Skyrim.
Pepsi and Jack is good. Was dangerous last weekend. My alcohol tolerance has steadily decreased since graduating college. Now everytime my buddies come over to play video games I get wasted and can't compete.
Drinking Jack and Pepsi. . .

It's pretty gross. lol
Don't be such a coke elitist.

I kind of want to get Sigma for Vita since I never beat it on PS3. Plus trophies.
I thought everybody lost the ECA exploit?:
Nope, I just used it on XIII-2. Ordered it when they put up the $20 credit.

Just doesn't work on the two new handheld systems.
I don't know what it is about 3rd Strike, but 1/2 of my fireball attempts read as jumps. I don't have that issue w/SF 4.
SFIV has lenient inputs and shortcuts, 3s is more strict but still has some shortcuts like for supers.

Do you play on pad or stick?

gg everyone. Sorry I didn't have a headset by my Sony BT one was dead so it's still charging. I suck so bad at fighting games. Only ones I'm competent in are MK and SF IV. 3rd Strike I'm terrible and SSF2THDR and MvC 2/3 I absolutely suck at.

Edit: Got my original PS3 SF 4 TE out of the closet to play tonight. I've got that and a Femme Fatale 360 TE stick, and SF 4 fightpads for both consoles also. Only use the fightpads for MK and 2D downloadable games.

GG, no worries about the headset, we all talk on skype when we play anyway since PSN chat sucks. You can join the skype group instead if you want, just leave your skype for me to add next time.
