N8, what's your opinion... since I play online with you in a lot of games, is this something we could really get into online? or is it the GTA online thing, kind of there to be there and not much fun.
Well, I haven't touched the multiplayer yet (didn't really get a chance to since Live was down all day yesterday). From what I've read though, the online is co-op...but you still compete for score. I don't think it's like the campaign though, but more like various "jobs" or something that you have to complete.
And knowing that, I could see it being pretty good. The main problem I've had with the game is that your AI teammates are worthless and what the game throws at you is too much to take care of by yourself. I started out on the "experienced" difficulty, but went down to casual because I found myself getting pissed off and yelling obscenities due to things that were out of my control.
In these kinds of games, I feel like your AI teammates should perform AT LEAST at the level the game expects you to perform at. Having to revive them and finish off all of their ghosts is just a cheap way to make the game harder.
As A Happy Panda mentioned, there are many times in the game where it's just chaos. You've got like 5-6 (or more for Stay Puft's stupid ass minions) enemies on the screen, objects being thrown around, 2-4 Ghostbusters with proton packs, and you. What makes it crazier than, say a game like Halo, is the fact that most of these enemies can fly. So, you're constantly spinning the camera up/down/around. On experienced, I would sometimes try to take a second to evaluate where everybody was and where I needed to be, then I'd get annihilated from behind.
There's a GoW style charge/run button, but it's almost pointless because the ghosts can keep up with you or just throw shit at you. Ultimately, I decided this is not the kind of game I want to be frustrated by, and I really just want to enjoy the story and the characters. So, I started over on easy. Maybe I just suck at the game, but I'm not a professional gamer, so what do I care? But, I think with all human players, you could probably balance things out, and having to revive a teammate because he was legitimately overwhelmed would be far less frustrating than because he's just a

ing idiot, haha.
