finally beat that game
Nice, congrats.
I'm currently trying to get all 30 cars for some guy. 70% done, gotten all stunt jumps, and just under 31 hours game time.
Oh, and that in QUB3D game SUCKS. Ugh, finally beat it though, then went on a rampage inside the bar and took out a rpg and shot the whole place. Died inside, but well worth it.
Can anyone help me find these damn cars for Stevie. How do you know where they are at, they don't show up on the map, and I can't find the location anywhere!

I got the darts and bowling achievements last night and advanced the story by one mission
(the one where you go to the club and some guy wants you to kill some other guy for leaking info or something but the third guy vouches for him but Niko goes to kill him anyway at the train station)
. I played for about 2 hours. At this rate I'm never going to finish - I have too much fun just effing around... I'm STILL on the first island and my time is about 11 hours!!
Yeah I assume the only way that you can't date them is if you kill them, but I haven't tried it out yet.
Doesn't stop Kate from randomly calling me as Unknown Caller, and asking where have I been, and if I want to go out on a date with her...I end up killing her each time, she won't ing die.
I'm early in the game so I don't have access to buy the good weapons at the shop. Instead I go down to the airport and half the time the cops there are standing around with M4s. I go to the guy that's by himself, walk up and shoot him in the face with the shotgun. I take his M4 and get a wanted level of 3 stars. Drive over to where the 747s meet the terminal and steal one of the huge plane tower trucks. This thing is a ing tank. You can knock anything out of the way, even SWAT team vans. It has a decent top speed so it's easy to eventually escape a 4 star wanted level. I keep one of those at my hideout now for when I need maximum destruction.
Also, is it possible to turn up the dialog? The radio and sound effects drown them out. Seems like this game has the dreaded "home theater" audio mastering for "big explosions". Not very apartment friendly.

There is no voice volume option. I ended up turning on the subtitles. Note that there are a couple of missions that ask you to listen around for what people are saying and there are no subtitles. That left me with two options, either wait for the next day before my apartment's quite hours so that I could turn up the volume or just shoot everyone in sight.

Ha, that sounds like fun! I gotta try that out your method for getting an assault rifle.
I also use the subtitles b/c it's hard to hear the voices sometimes.
This should help.
great help man, thanks. I was looking for the first car last night and it says it's in Bobao or wherever, and I hadn't even noticed that area before. I mean, I had been there several times, but I didn't know the name of it.

It's great if you're early in the game and don't want to cheat. Plus driving the plane tower and running over everything is just stupid fun. I usually go to the single cop that's standing near the radar tower at the southern end of the runway. Keep in mind that they won't always have M4s, so leave and come back if you don't see them. The M4 came in real handy during one of the bigger shootouts on the first island. A quick three-round burst to the center of mass would take down bad guys.
Also, remember that if you get killed you'll keep your new M4. Just don't get busted because then you lose all your guns. Either escape with the plane tower of doom or go down fighting.
anyone got a tip on how to beat undress to kill with out getting killed....
Just go in, unarmed, go straight to the back room where there's a guy saying that you have to wait your turn. Then take our whatever weapon you have, blast the boss. You then might have to wait till it says something like "the bosses are running way." When that happens you should be able to go right out the back door and go around to blast the other guys. Atleast, that's how I did it (AFAIK. Then again, that was a really long time ago).
I just had no guns out walked to the back room where dude tells you to wait, used the shotgun for 1 hit kill on him and the gaurd outside the room, went back into the floor room and threw like 4 nades clearing that room. Then killed the 1 manager who was inside the club talking to the girl as he tried to run, ran down the last boss as he got into his car. Took me a couple of tries but thats how I did it
Just beat the game(did the lbc minute) now going to go back through and enjoy it more and pick my options differently.
I've been playing online more than story mode and I'm loving it.
I agree. Ive never played ojnline before this game. I love it its some much fun. I laugh everytime i play.
Look for me every night after 8. I gots kiddies to look out for!
I would have paid 60 dollars just to play online one night. Its great. I see something different every night! I have done maybe two missions in the single player mode! I just play online.
Yay, I just found some RPGs laying around in the game! They're out in the water at the northern end of the middle island. Look for some rocks out in the water and they're on the largest one at the top.

buying them is alot easier... unless you are low on cash.
buying them is alot easier... unless you are low on cash.
...or don't have the option to buy them yet.
I just finished Undressed to kill. My method consisted of:
killing the guy counting money with a knife, which doesn't alert anyone, and then taking cover and creeping up on the guy in the back room and taking him out with the SMG and finally running into the main room and killing the guy in there. Wasn't so hard.
It's funny, first Halo 3 comes out and sets sales records. And then I believe COD4 topped the Halo 3 launch. And now GTAIV tops it again.
This industry is ing huge, and other industries are shitting bricks.
Lets not get over excited here. Don't forget that these games cost 60-100 bucks (in GTA4s case), and are far more hard to pirate then music CDs and DVDs for the average joe, thus why people buy them more then they do CDs and Movies
I'm thinking about buying the game, but I have heard about some glitch issues even with the 360. Are they really bad?
I haven't seen any glitches yet.

Nope. Rare occasions do I see it glitch. Well, its more about walking into my safehouse and having the game take a couple of seconds to actually load my bed so that I can save my game. Other than that, no glitches.
