I will make delicious cookies and send you some in exchange for some of those.
Oh hey there DB, how's the fantasy team treating ya ;)
I actually purchased RSV2 and Red Orchestra over the weekend and I completely forgot about FF until Sunday night when it was too late to make any changes.
i make delicious cookies, too. and even better brownies.
I will make mediocre baked goods and send you some in exchange for some delicious baked goods.

arrangements can be made. the cupcakes will not travel well, however, milk chocolate peanut butter brownies fudge chunks will.

They would travel well over here too.

Did anyone else pick up Red Orchestra this weekend on Steam? I know dcfox did...

The game is awesome, I especially like the mod that came with it.

Aight.

I'm closer to NY than you are, JFD. So they won't travel as well.

 How did you know?! I tried practice mode for about 15 minutes to see what it was like. Really didn't like what I played of it.

When I go to my Steam Community page, I can see what my friends have been buying.

Studying for astro test tomorrow. The idea of spacetime kinda confuses the hell out of me.

"The mass of the sun causes spacetime to curve so freely moving objects follow the straightest possible paths allowed by the curvature of space time."

And that is accompanied with a picture of the sun in the middle of a wormhole looking thing and god damn trying to visualize a space to time graph in 3D and plotting the planets on it while all that shit is going in orbit based upon the gravitational influence of the sun on not only the planets, but the plane of existence around it.... fuuuuck my brain.

Oh, I kind of understand it better now. The spacetime diagram is just a way to map out the gravitational influence... I think.

Since spacetime curves around the sun, a straight line for the planets is that elliptical orbit we know and love.

Liquid, any help here?
Stop buying Barbie Horse Adventures 3. ;)
 Yeah, because Barbie Horse Adventures is the same thing as Petz Horsez.

Think of space as something entirely smooth that gets wrinkled by objects with mass.
If you roll a ball (or let water flow across it or whatever) along this smooth surface, it will follow the easiest path available, which is along the wrinkles, if that makes sense.

Of course, the image of a plane with dents in it caused by objects with mass is a simplification: that sort of diagram is a 2d world curved into the 3rd dimension. Our universe is 3d and mass curves it into the 4th spatial dimension.
We can't picture 4 dimensions though, which is why we use the simplified image.

One of the requirements for graduation is to take a tier III class out of your major. This astro450 class, even though I don't understand some of the stuff, is probably one of the most interesting, and I actually feel like I'm learning something from it, which is more than I can say about the majority of my classes.

Nice, jon stewart performed at our college on Friday, and promised to name drop us on the daily show if we beat #1 Ranked BC in hockey this weekend (we're unranked). And we did. And he did
