Hm. I found a thumb drive at school without a cover on it. I put it in my pc earlier just to see what was on it and just now pulled it out. I guess my hands are slightly moist or something because I got a (very) small jolt.

It must have been a teachers because it had a bunch of powerpoints and school event stuff on it but no hw, papers or anything like that. I wouldn't doubt a student stole it hoping for some good "insider" info and ripped the cover off and then tossed it after they saw nothing of interest.
I don't plug mystery drives into my computer, to high a risk of viruses. That actually happened at my school, virus going around the school network, every drive that was plugged into a school computer was infected. Then those people took the drives home and infected their home systems.
