They are good or evil. There are 5 blue/red side missions per island. You unlock a level for a power for every 5 you do of the same karma.

Start doing some of the side missions on The Warren and you'll eventually get one
where you lower the drawbridge
so you can go back to the Neon.
 
I have 3 more stunts and I'm not sure I'm every going to be able to complete them. Air Sticky Bomb and Crash and Splash are a bit too difficult. Have a Nice Fall is just too hard to find a place to do it at, you don't see 3 enemies on a roof together very often.

With the
Tar on the water tower side missions
on Neon you can find 3 guys on a roof but I've yet to be able to get them close enough together to blast them all off with a single shockwave. I left one of those missions unfinished but unfortunately it turns out that one (next to Zeke's) leaves the 3 guys on one roof at different levels (2 on roof, 1 on tower then 2 on opposite roof and 1 behind turret on upper level) so you may not want to leave that one as the last
water tower
on Neon. I think I did it twice on other
water tower
side missions but unfortunately blasted them twice (2nd time while they were in air) so I think it didn't count :cry:

Turns out the Splash and Crash is one of the first 10 I knocked out since it was on my pause screen. It was kind of a pain but I just found a tall building with reavers around it and jumped off the roof to do it. The problem I kept having was that I kept hitting square before I let go of L1. Just something to keep in mind.

I only have 9 stunts so far, as I haven't really been actively trying to get them. I really enjoy tracking down the blast shards and drop points though. I'm on
The warrens
now, and the side missions are only getting a bit repetitive.

I'm at the last mission. Already did all of Neon's side quests.

There is a storyline mission on the second island where there is a roof with like 4 or 5 guys on it at once, but I could never get them all close enough to hit them with shock wave before getting killed.

You can't. You just have to remember which ones you've done.
 
Beat the game, evil ending. Man what a ride. A little disappointed that
the first boss didn't show up again after talking in my ear the whole game
and I really liked
the final moral choice that changed the way my powers looked.
Final Boss was hard but
I saw the reveal coming a mile away.
 
I just finished Infamous. I must admit the ending was a bit surprising. I also managed to get Up close and Personal stunt(I found an area where 6 guys would spawn near a pier) and it was the last stunt I needs to get a Trophy. Now I just need to locate the last 13 blast shards. But I noticed a few of them haven't appear when I scanned for them so It seems I'll have to keep an eye out for some that are missed by a scan.

If you pause the game it will list a stunt you haven't done. So you could use that to help get that last few.

I have 4 more shards to find and 2 more stunts to do (I got the air bomb one). I still have to take over the final island too.

1. Air Strike - Kill an enemy with Lightning Bolt while Cole is air borne.

2. Crush - Kill an enemy by crushing them with an object (Car, bike, dumpster...etc.)

3. Sticky Bomb - Kill an enemy by sticking a shock grenade to them.

4. Highfall - Kill an enemy by making them fall from a high place.

5. Enviro Take Down - Kill an enemy with environmental explosion.

6. Blast & Bolt - Kill an air borne enemy with Lightning Bolt

7. Flying Head Shot - Head shot an air borne enemy

8. Right Back At Ya - Use Shockwave to make enemy kill themselves with a grenade

9. Air Sticky Bomb - Kill an air borne enemy by sticking a grenade to them.

10. Flying Melee - Kill an air borne enemy with melee

11. Insult To Injury - Stick a grenade to an enemy, then kill them before it explodes

12. Wack A Mole - Kill a Conduit with Thunder Drop

13. Suspended Sentence - Kill an air borne enemy with Thunder Storm

14. Unquencheble Thirst - Transfer to 4 different grinds without touching anything else

15. Melee Finisher - Kill Enemy with last hit of 5 hit melee combo

16. Premature Detonation - Kill an enemy by making a Kamikaze enemy explode near them.

17. Crowd Control - Kill 5 Enemies at once (use a grenade???)

18. Splash And Crash - While in the air, Shock an enemy and then hit the same enemy with thunder drop.

19. Have A Nice Fall - Kill 3 enemies at once by making them fall from a high place. (Use Shockwave ???)

20. Ride The Lightning - Kill an enemy with Precision while rail grinding.

21. Up Close And Personal - Kill 3 Enemies back to back with melee.

Yeah you can. And alot of the stunts are easier to pull off then they sound.

I bought it from Gamestop and it didn't come with a code. If any one could hook me up, please email me at [email protected] or pm me.

I know, I know, it doesn't sound probable, but if I have to I will take a picture of the game and the case near a piece of paper with my user name on it. One of the main reasons I bought this game was for the beta, and now my copy didn't even come with a code.

I don't have much to offer in return, unless you want some battelfield: heroes beta keys.

i got my copy at gamestop too..i gave them the empty case off the shelf and then they put the disc and beta card in it...you should go back and ask for the beta card

I agree because having to find 350 of them a 2nd time could be a real pain. I feel the same about the stunts and dead drops. Although, at least you get XP bonuses for the shards and stunts.

Solid game, and I'm having fun, but I have to second the complaint about the goddamn sniper eyed enemys. The range and accuracy on some of these cats is ridiculous.

Same thing happened to me today :bomb:

Completely forgot about the beta until I got online and saw a boxshot with that blurb on it.
fucking GS employees taking all the free goods.

Well that's the problem. Your character isn't always emitting electricity. I can be minding my own business and still get clipped despite looking like one of many other pedestrians (which happen to be alot closer than I am!)
I should be rewarded for subtlety.

Besides, even if I were a walking Neon sign, that doesn't explain how these hooded menaces are crack shots with an AK from a mile away.

They may be on the second printing which would mean no more beta codes. Unless it was a gutted copy, there should be a sticker on the outer packagine and a paper insert in the game case with the code.

I know I bought the last copy my Gamestop had of Infamous on Tuesday night. On Friday they had more new copies, didn't see if they had beta keys or not.
 
Got my copy from Amazon on Thursday, which is actually pretty great considering that I used Free Shipping. So I got the game even before the scheduled ship date!

Glad to hear that the game is selling at a brisk pace -- PS3 owners must be looking for their first summer blockbuster, and this sounds like it definitely hits that spot. Can't wait to go home tomorrow and start playing.

I bought my copy the day it came out from GS and it didnt have the sticker on the outer package. I just made sure before I left the store that I had the uncharted beta insert in the case.




Also..I fucking around with my PSP upstairs and went into remote play just for S&G's and it is such a cock tease that you can go to the game and see the little clip of it and stuff but cant play it....I NEED MORE GAMES WITH REMOTE PLAY DAMMIT!

I just realized a something funny in this game. Your character can't use guns, because his powers set off the powder in the bullets and make it explode, he can't use cars because his powers short circut it, Yet hes able to use a cell phone, witch is more sensitive to electricity than either of those xD.
 
Only one more shard to go... I have no idea where to look now. I checked out the docks and I think I checked every block. I might take another go around the rails and see if I find one.

anyone else ntice how the main character kind moves and climbs alot like raziel from the soul reaver games? even some of his abilities are the same. kind of an interesting coincidence. also do those shards randomly regenerate? i swear ive found some in the same places ive already been. very odd but stil a great game once you get past the first few missions.
 
My only complaint about this is how he gets killed so easily. I think...3-4 shots and he's done. Other than that, its great. BTW, the guy who does Cole's face, is he the one who did Snake's?

I think he meant voice, and no, David Hayter did not do Cole's voice.

It was definitely someone trying to sound like David Hayter as Snake, though, for sure.

I would imagine that it's a modified Sly Cooper engine with the way Cole clings to everything and the way he jumps.
