Y'know, many of us here know where to look for ppvs; I don't want to get this site in trouble by linking directly to such resources. I strongly suggest editing each of your posts that include the download link.
 
oh dare I even bother turning raw on tonight... I'm sure Edge is just going to annoy me to no end unless some fan runs in the ring and tazers his ass (ala Scott Hall Starrcade 98) or something, maybe Matt can hire Jeff to do it, he's pretty crazy. I'm sure the GM will be someone equally worthless, hopefully Mae Young, since they're apparently parading her around again.

Guile, I was raised Irish Catholic in the state of Kentucky; strangely, though, I despise bourbon and adore Irish whiskey. I think the association with me is that violence is sexy when it involves dirty punk rock girls drunk and on roller skates. Shame that the show is in Tejas, because they drink tequila. ;)
 
Maybe Ken Kennedy can be the new GM, at least that would be mildly amusing, or perhaps the ghost of Tim White, what the hell is going on with that White angle anyway?

There's nothing to explain. There's no background, there's no future (other than repeated suicide attempts), there's no payoff. This, like many other parts of the WWE's scripts lately, is the wrestling equivalent of a "non sequitor" in English (or was it a dangling participle?). I wanted to come off as smarmy and all-knowing, but truth be told, it's supposed to be funny because he's trying to kill himself. That's all I know.
 
ZL, I had to corral my 3 horses when they got out at 8 this morning, and those fuckers are big. All 3 are females. Were you in the neighborhood, letting of your love scent?

I mentioned earlier how cool Edge was and posted the pic of me with him. For those who don't remember, that same day at E3, I was returning to the line after getting Stacy's autograph and a picture with her, when Edge (with 2 security escorts) walked up right behind me. I had a brief conversation with him (as in 30 seconds) but he was very polite and glad to speak to a fan. The guy is a true class act toward the fans.

I had meant to take these pictures months ago, but here are photos of my copyof Edge's book with the picture he signed for me, and the autograph nside of my book:

Bah, don't play tricks on us horses we get easily confused after 2 hours of driving, then scrambling all over campus to make sure that we graduate in May.

Anyway, sounds pretty typical of the WWE these days.

... and Matt that horse story is hilarious, probably not to you, but to me at least.

Well, I suppose they're paying attention to the crowd. I think it's pretty easy to hate Edge and Lita, so I'd be surprised if Cena is still being booed in a month's time. Then again, I'd also be surprised if Cena got the belt again before SummerSlam.

Edge 2006 = JBL 2004. I've mentioned several times that if the WWE didn't pull the trigger on him now, Edge would be a perpetual midcarder for life. Just like you never take a title match involving Kane seriously, the same would have been the case with Edge. I think they made a good move last night, but the major question on my mind when watching that last promo was why is Lita's voice so deep?

Hey, neat! When I met Jerry Lawler and had him sign his book, I was able to have a small conversation with him. Apparantly he has a condo around here, so he did the event on his off time at a local Books A Million. Only about 30 people showed up (compared to about 300 for the Harry Potter book 5 release. XD). It was pretty neat.

Man, I had such high hopes for Conway, and I really enjoyed his work in OVW and as a jobber on Velocity years ago, but he just hasn't panned out the way I expected him to.

I am glad that Chavo is getting some recognition, although I'm not fond of the circumstances behind it. Chavo is an excellent wrestler; one thing I notice about his matches is that the moves he do make *sense*. He'll start with simple stuff, and follow up with moves set to attack one area or disarm his opponent's traits (legs for a high flyer, for instace). I also am a bit touched (if my eyes don't deceive me) by his new tights, which appear to have a phoenix on them.

Yeah, that and Conway as a whole. :lol:

A general purpose "WTF?" should be displayed instead of the WWE logo on the screen when he is in the ring anyway.

I'll have to check on the phoenix. I didn't even see that before.

you know Edge's title reign was sprung on everyone when they are hyping a John Cena/ Kurt Angle match next week for the WWE championship

(its here in Raleigh and they have not shown the commercial they just showed before)

Reminds me of how much I used to love Edge.

I saw the match where he speared hardy in midair like that, I was shocked. I used to LOVE Edge... for some reaosn I kinda dislike him now. :[

Still, yay for him holding the title.
