Didn't Amazon reprint it? I don't remember what the dealio was.

I found a few gems from the drop list as well. Sadly, I think the two closest Kmarts have been picked clean lately.

Yep. That's why I asked. My copy from Amazon came in just 2 days ago, and it has the eco cases absent from the original run.
 
So I went into the DS/Wii lists and removed all titles relating to: Petz, Childrens shows or movies, music games, fitness games, learn math/english/spanish games and or any other manner of BS that has been so common on nintendo platforms this gen. I was a little less strict on the $10 games than the $20 games.

Also I dunno if you noticed josh but there are several PS2 and PS3 singstar and buzz bundles that show up in the middle of the DS list as well as GC titles (makes a little more sense) in the Wii list.
 
Damn, I bought a bunch of those clearance titles recently. I feel dumb now.

It's actually been the case that since I started frequenting KMarts, I've been seeing obscure titles that I bought off eBay or Amazon 1-2 years ago that are all over the place and much cheaper at KMart. Everytime I see one I kick myself for all the hassle I dealt with to find them previously.

Josh, since I've now selected five games from this new drop that I would like to purchase (FE: Radiant Dawn, Mega Man Zero Collection, Metro 2033, Star Ocean: Second Evolution, and Wario Land: Shake It!), my wallet would greatly appreciate a BOGO type of sale sometime soon.

I sometimes wonder if Josh thinks he will EVER be able to satisfy us CAGs. It seems like every awesome deal is followed by a dozen "but" or "if" questions. Personally, I think Josh has gone above and beyond. I mean to give us a $20 coupon and a free $20 game with LA Noire only seems to have opened the floodgates of asking for more and more free stuff. I love it when he can but sometimes I think we ask him for some ridiculous things.

I agree, the deals he puts togethor is on par and usually beats the competitors. I for one is more than happy with his hard work.

Definately some nice drops. Kind of sad that I recently purchased Dragon Quest V, mario strikers, Fire Emblem, and Pokemon Battle Revolution at their $29.99 price points during the $120/$60 deal but oh wells.

Be awesome to randomly find a Fallout 3 CE or Halo Wars LE at the $20 marker.

Yeah? That's three last-gen games in one. Totally different then buying inFAMOUS 1 & 2 together. I mean.. would it even make sense to buy both games at once and play 1 when everyone would be playing 2? I would play 1 before 2, which makes it perfect to pick up now, not when 2 releases. What would you expect to happen? You would get LA Noire and play it. Then you would use that $20 coupon on another game. You can't possibly think that he would compensate you for the bonus $20 game.

Chill, i was just asking, damn - also, KMart has a 7 day price adjustment policy right? so say i went out tomorrow and got a bunch of the games that are gonna get priced dropped starting sunday, i can go back and get the price adjusted?

spend 50-74.99 dollars get 5k worth of sywr points
spedn 75-99.99 get 10k
spend 100-149.99 get 15k
spend 150+ get 25k... i believe... the only ones i'm not sure about is the end price and start price for 10k and 15k respectively

That'd suck imo. A free game is a free game but I hate those types of promos generally. If I wanted Infamous 2 I've probably already got or played the original. And even if I haven't...well I'm getting Infamous 2, why the hell would I want to sit through a (hopefully) inferior game like the original Infamous?

As long as it comes with a $20+ coupon though I don't really care what else, if anything, comes with it. It's already got the UC3 beta which is probably worth the full price of the game to me.
 
Just wanted to say that the posted list of participating stores for the Mother's Day Weekend Bonus Points is NOT completely accurate. My KMart was not listed as participating, but I got my bonus points today.

Just in case, someone was thinking about not going to theirs because they weren't listed.

That kind of promo can work, though. I think it depends on the game/series, how prolific it is, or whether people value it. A series like Yakuza might be better suited instead.

storyline... games (sometimes... and hopefully) are more than just gameplay and graphics and controls... it should have a good story to pull u in

I didn't get the Kmart email about bonus points promotion. I got in on the last deal so I wonder why I didn't get the email this time? Probably doesn't matter, they posted it on the website last time.

True they should have good stories but in reality most just dont. I could see something like that with Mass Effect I guess (I havent played it).

Really the only game I've cared for the story this gen is 999. There's other games which weren't bad, but I wouldn't really call them good either. Maybe good for a video game but thats about it.

In my experience, you get points based on what you pay out of pocket. I've never tried to use SYWR points during a bonus weekend as that would be wasteful and counter productive.

However, during the most recent bonus weekend there was a rather detailed conversation about it. I based my answers/assumptions off of receipts that I was holding in my hands at the time and I'm sticking to it after today's adventure at KMart.

You have a better chance of a smooth transaction if you go in prepared to pay out of pocket, your desired tier with a sale that reaches the minimum, PRE-TAX.
