Damn, that's pretty sweet. Really nice play features including the retractable wheels with forward tilt, cockpit, and mechanical arm.
When is that shuttle coming out. My son is getting that one for Christmas whether he wants it or not :)
:lol::applause::lol:
Neat... I was sold before seeing the satellite.
The shuttle itself looks very similar to #7470. The updated version with the detachable fuel tank and booster rockets are a nice touch.

Summer sets are back in stock @TRU...Power Miners, Atlantis, World Racers, the one Kingdoms set...and Passenger Plane!

So tempted to get the plane, but I'd rather buy from Amazon or S@H if I'm not going to wait for a sale...

Oh wow, Lego is killing me with all these interesting new sets.

The new Public Transit set is just too cool...4 vehicles including a tram and a different color/style bus!

From Eurobricks, but I'm sharing here too:

Frankly I think the thing is hideous.

A nothing special car. LEGO really needs to start thinking about making a new type of car. Then there is a new bus, OK, cool, whatever. The tram thing is just ugly as can be. Does it have regular wheels or train wheels? it looks like something a 10 year old would make, just too boxy and not realistic in any way. There are three platforms to make the set cost an extra $30, wow!

Platforms? I see plates and roof pieces, but that's just me

That set looks pretty sweet, wonder what the price point is... would go well with the other corner block.

I'm guessing about the same price as the Garage/Construction sets. I agree it'd go nice with Corner Block too.

Bus platform, train platforms, like stations but there is no building is it's just the platform. The platform is where you sit or stand while waiting for a bus or train.

I'm guessing this is the TRU winning set and it was supposed to cost a lot, more than $100. Maybe they were smart and it will be $100, it's not worth more than that.

$100?!?! WTF

I would think this set shouldn't be no more than $60.....

Ew, really, that's the much hyped TRU winning set? Are you sure? Wasn't that supposed to be some sort of cool updated towncenter or something?
Just a rumor, but I read on Eurobricks that they are actually making all the sets from that TRU voting thing.
That's not a rumour, it's just the idiots at Eurobricks making shit up. They really have no clue. Plus the "rumour" was that tRU would get this set and Target would be the truck stop or something.

:whistle2:s

In what universe do you think this set would be $60? The cheapest of cheapest would be $80 and I'm thinking $100. It's 2010 and this is LEGO we are talking about. The stupid stops would be $20ish, the car would be $8-$10, the bus $25-$30, that tank truck would be at least $13, and then the tram would be $40.

TRU and LEGO did do that City Fan Set survey about a year ago. Considering that fact alone, that tram set might be a TRU exclusive.

Eh. I'm blowing my money on a Slave I or two or three!

And... I just received my order with the SW sticker sheet. Bastards packed it so loose that the sticker rolled up on its edges. Seeing white Boba emphasized on the outside makes me think there's more to that minifig than being some stupid exclusive. Maybe random inserts in sets or something!

Did your order mention anything about winning/not winning the bronze Boba?

I'm just wondering how the contest was supposed to work.

Maybe 2008, more 2006 it would be a $60 set. Maybe...

However in 2006 or 2008 it doesn't include a police or fire minifigure so it wouldn't have gotten made.

oh well...

I might hit up the wife to buy it if she thinks it's good for her town.

Yeah ... I won it

S@H added the "Shuttle Adventure" placeholder listing with an open June release schedule--should be available for ordering/pre-ordering soon.
Just ordered the minifig box from EE for my son and his friends. Looked like they had the best price 135.94 Shipped.
I guess it's "free or else" I pay for it

j/k

Looks like TRU marked up some Lego sets yesterday. About 25 sets total, $1 - $3 mark up, expect for Toy Story Garbage Truck went up from $45 - $53. I can post a list later when I have more time.

Next week, 4 sets on sale for Toy Story 3. 20% off

#5658 Pizza Planet Truck
#5659 Great Train Chase
#7596 Trash Compactor Escape
#7597 Western Train
Lego Universe pre-orders supposedly go up May 14th, for those interested in the game and/or the minifig bonus.
Thanks for the that, I'll be pre-ordering... I'll want to at least see what it'll be like.

I kid ... there was no mention in either of my orders, though it's interesting to note the stickers are numbered out of 20,000 ... I guess that makes them a bit more collectible? I'm sure whomever wins the Bronze Boba Fett will be plastered on the S@H website at some point. It may take awhile though, as you didn't have to purchase anything to enter the drawing, so I assume that means they're taking mail in entries from people as well.

Never know they might forget to charge me:bouncy:

Picked this up at Walmart B@M for $25
LEGO 5973 Space Police: Hyperspeed Pursuit Set

Good deal. I noticed the WM's near me have some "clearanced" items. Nothing fancy, just the Indy Kits, and something else (I forget what). The prices are only $1 off MSRP, but I expect them to go down.

Also, My local store has Construct-a-Zurg for $19 (rollback, not clearance!) If your store has this, I'd definitely suggest picking one or two up. As a wal-mart exclusive, the only other place you'll be able to find that is at the lego store, or S@H.

My Toys R Us has a total of one set on clearance, which is a little Christmas tree for $1.98. They have about 30 of them though. The pieces are all very common but I am going to think about whether I need more green slopes and might pick up a few.

Hadn't seen this impulse set before, you should be able to find it at Target but it was in a rather odd place ... right as you get to the registers, look on the side opposite from the conveyor belt and at the very bottom in the corner of the display with various small items. Not a bad set for $2.99 ... ooo, an Octopus ;)

30040-1.jpg

Just built it and it actually has a couple fairly unique pieces ... so if you're looking for weird black shapes, this might be a good set to grab a few of.
It's not a true Impulse set, it's a promo set, those are $3 instead of $4.
I've tried looking for that set at my Targets but haven't seen anything. I left a post in EB about the Target DPCI number but have not had a response.

Does anybody have the DPCI number for that set?
Lego Universe pre-orders are now live on S@H.

Code B311 still works for $5 off.
Eh, I'd really like that mini-figure but shipping really kills the deal. Anyone have any inside info on LEGO Universe? From the few things I've read I've heard it's incredibly basic due to the age level it's aimed at and somewhat disappointing. Anyone care to comment?

damn, I probably won't find this anywhere....

How many can you fit in a priority box ? ;)

Ordered the game... figured the minifig might be worth selling, plus I've been trying to get into Beta...

Thanks for the coupon, shipping is redunkulous... but it's only $2 bucks then. for $40, it may not be so bad... sure it's simple but I think they said there will be better things for older players.... I thought.

Nice. I'll have to check that out. Just from the image I can tell there are some parts I can use. Looks like this set (30040) is part of LEGO's Atlantis promotional series. 2 other sets have been released with this one.

- 30042 Minisub
- 30041 Piranha

E! Which Target did you find those at?

I'm also debating on purchasing the game. I just want the minifig. I'm going to call later, but does anyone know if the LEGO stores are doing the same deal?
