Little Big Planet - Gen. Discussion & Info

Wheres KingBroly at?

I'm at 32,000 plays! Sucka! It's funny, people play my Little Dead Space level than they try my other levels (like the Pokemon one) and are like, "Uh, wtf?" Good thing I didn't put my candy level up. Haha.

I thought the same thing when I played your levels. You this amazing Dead Space level and than this well not so amazing Pokemon one. It seems like it's almost two different people who made them.

Man I have been a long time lurker at this site but you and that level of yours made me actually sign up. Holy shit man you have joined the elite class of rrr30000 and geosautus, as someone who redefined the game. Kudos:applause:

FYI 2 things I wanted to give you a heads up on. You need a close level post at the beginning, so no one can get on halfway though the game (people need to experience the beginning). Also by the tram to the left, you can jump behind that and fall into nothingness.

Well since everybody else does it I will refrain from plugging my level Parallax Death Jumpers, psn: nyahbingi. People need more class these days, sheez

Well, it was. My friends basically made the Pokemon one, I kind of just helped them in some things.

Thanks man. I know there are a few problems here and there, but I cannot really fix them... I'm having this problem where if I touch one thing in my level, everything attached to that object will get messed up. So to fix on small problem would actually take me a lot of time... so I'd rather just use that time making Little Dead Space 2 (I actually already started some tests for it). But thanks for the heads up.

Darknessbear, I've not played Dead Space at all. Would I still enjoy your level even if I haven't played that game? I've found myself avoiding levels for games that I don't/didn't play, but I've heard a lot of good stuff about yours.

 rape!

I never played Dead Space, but his level is great. It's not like it will spoil anything about Dead Space if you want to play it in the future, except that there is a guy and he's on a space station fighting alien monsters or something.

It's a really impressive level if you've never even heard of Dead Space. The opening sequence is better than anything in the official levels. Having played Dead Space does at least make that part a little more fun though, since it plays off the actual opening.

This level will be the first one I play when I get LBP. Is there a search function to make it easy to find?

Ya, just search Highest Rated. Booyah!

Nah, just search for my name. Thanks for all the nice comments! I've played the level so many damn times that I have lost all good views towards it. All I see is the flaws. But, I can't wait to make LDS2 and play around with the gun.

I had the angriest guy post a comment on my level, he said; "I hate this level. As soon as it started I turned the shit off." So I messaged him, "Haha, why you hate it so much?" and he said, "Cause its a peice of shit." and I said, "lol" and he said, "Wtf do you want from me?"

He was very angry at something... maybe my level caused his PS3 to shortcircuit which killed his dog...

Right now I'm working on a Kids Construction Set, basically a series of simple objects that even kids can use to assemble a playable level. The problem with objects you get in the campaign is that they're pretty specialized and don't fit well with each other. They're meant more to teach you how to create them, rather than to provide something like a lego set that you snap together to make interesting gameplay. With this, the idea is you use them as building blocks, then change the materials as needed. So far I've got a simple springboard, a conveyor belt, and elevator. I'm not sure yet how to standardize the platforms. I'm thinking either just 2-3 heights that are based on how high and far sackboy can jump, with anything extra being just objects stacked on each other. I could use ideas for more basic building blocks for the set.

All codes are now accounted for. Thanks to everyone who asked and you are all welcome.

And if by chance any of you have an extra Fable 2 code for the Halo armor and sword it would be greatly appreciated. Won't get into details but I've had to fax my receipt showing proof of purchase of the limited edition of Fable 2. For some reason I can't get the code through the website, so I think I maybe royally screwed.

If anyone had an extra Kratos or Nariko code I would really enjoy having one, I never recieved one. I will wish you a Merry Christmas also! Please PM me if you do. thank you.
Are nariko codes even floating around anymore?
Given that the Nariko costume doesn't show up on the LittleBigStore, I'm thinking they'll release a level pack soon enough, because there is a Kratos Pack on the LittleBigStore.

I'm still looking for nariko code myself or at least a gameshare here is what I posted in the gameshare thread:

Still looking for Nariko
Have:
LBP- Animal Costume Pack, All Freebies (some seasonal one arent on the PSN so I believe u can download them thru my account), Street Fighter Pack.
And just to make the pot bigger ill buy any 10 dollar or lower game and put it on my account to share to you.
Hit me up with a PM

Edit: I know im probally not gonna get a code no time soon so I will accept gamesharing
Figured I would post here too just because you guys actually play the game might have a better chance of finding someone.
MGS level pack! :whee:!!!
:bouncy: I can't wait!

First thing I'm going to do is make a cheap "get your paintinator trophies here" level and creator will be mine!

lol. I'm really interested in this. I haven't been playing a lot recently (I aced all the levels then moved on to Animal Crossing).

I'm excited.

oh sweet. can't wait to see the updates to the current MGS levels. I will most definitely NOT be buying them but long as I can play them I'm good with that.

The Paintenator is pretty easy to control. Aim with the right stick and fire with R1. You don't have to constantly fiddle with the aiming since the gun locks in place, which is nice.

So does the 5.99 premium level pack come with all the costumes? I assume it does, but couldn't find anything that says for sure.

So I tried to use a sticker from the MGS pack while playing with other people and it wouldn't let me. Something about ownership rights.

I don't think so, since there is a different pack with all the costumes for $6 also. For those that have downloaded the level pack, what was in it? Are there actually new levels or is it just tools for people to use?

How the heck to you manage to pull that level at the beginning of Act 3 without alerting the search light?
New levels, plus new materials and music. No costumes, though. Oh, and there's the Paintinator, of course.
There's one costume. The soldier one.
