so far how it's worked is there are days of each month where prizes become available. They will announce these days so people know when to expect the prizes. However, the specific time is unannounced. If you manage to go to http://ptzplace.lockerz.com/ at the right time, you can redeem a prize. Most of the prizes sell out in a matter of seconds.
 
They are supposed to announce something about the March redemption later today!

Oh and Mass Effect 2 came in today!:whee::whee::whee:

So for march they are doing a USA vs. International members thing.

So pretty much USA has no chance at getting the March Redemption. Awesome.
 
I got No More Heroes 2 today. Too lazy to take a pic like the other 2 lol.

I don't think that's fair to pit the U.S. users vs. the world. Unless there are roughly even amounts of member from both groups, the other countries will have no problem winning. It's also unfair to only have 1 redemption for this month. The winners should get their own redemption in addition to the general one. The losers should only get the general redemption.

This is what I was thinking when I first heard about the competition. Whoever doesn't win, is going to pissed. Lockerz would be idiots not to appease both international and US users. Then again, this is Lockerz we are talking about. They aren't exactly known for their savvy thinking.
 
No matter what happens, people will get angry.

I guess I'm somewhat glad that I'm part of the International Team but chances are, I probably wont be able to redeem anything.

I'm kinda glad that they did, with the launch of Play it became to easy to get points. If I signed up today and watched all the videos I would already have enough for an Ipod Shuffle/2 games, and that just from "watching" videos, that does not include PTZ from dailies and that game you do when you sign up.

Can anyone else connect to ptzplace.lockerz.com? Haven't bothered with this since last month and I'm curious if I was in fact permanently banned from redeeming for refreshing a bit. Main site works normally, but the one they use for redemption still won't.
 
Well it looks like us American's are going to lose March Radness. The international users got us by almost 4 million points.....

So much for a redemption this month T_T

I'm honestly not sure what's up with the DVDs, but I don't think they will stay that way... If they do, I don't think many people will be upset that a bunch of crappy DVDs are that much.

Well you could save your ptz and wait until the site opens and spend it on something a bit more expensive. I personally wish they would have done this sooner so I could have used my ptz a bit more wisely.

Well, I remember seeing Lockerz threads pop up in July and August on CAG, and if you've redeemed already, then you should have gotten rid of the ptz you started with. I'd say October or November start worrying about losing ptz, if not later than that.
 
There's no chance the US is going to win the March redemption race, so I guess it doesn't really matter that I don't have the 800 points needed for the Ratchet & Clank PSP bundle. Not that I'd have much of a chance of redeeming it anyways. Even if the US did win and I had enough points I'd still need a miracle to be able to get in a redemption request before they went out of stock.

They've actually announced that anyone who became a Z-lister before March 19th will keep their points for over a year. No clue on the exact time span though.

Want to be a LAB member? :D A lot of us haven't really been keeping up as much because it's pretty dry right now, but since Redemption is close, we hopefully will get updated...
 
Lockerz is a joke. 400PTZ now for a game. I'm at 794 PTZ, was saving for the iPod touch 64GB at 800, but I see it's 3200 PTZ now. Way to %$&# your supporters Lockerz.
 
I'd pretty much given up on Lockerz after the borked Feb redemption. After seeing the PTZ increases, I'm glad that I did. There really isn't any point to bothering anymore. But best of luck to those of you who stick with it. I hope you beat the Asian botters.

Alright, two things... It's been known since they opened the site world wide that the increase was coming. They held off for months and finally raised em since launch is getting closer. What people fail to understand, though, is that this very well may be the last redemption, so Lockerz can build up it's stock for when the site launches, and items will be in stock all the time. People are acting like they pulled this out from under you and you are wronged. Sorry, but if you're upset, that's unfortunate.
 
Haven't bothered with the site since the last (failed) redemption, but I've got just enough for a game should the site finally launch and the prizes are always in stock. These redemption opportunities are pointless for most of us.

From OUR UNDERSTANDING (I must say that, because who knows if it will change) these will be the final prices, but it just honestly doesn't make sense. These should be final, but I honestly can see the prices going up again as well (games and Wii and PSP and stuff)...
 
They should have raised prices after the third or fourth redemption where no one could get anything, that way users who got in at the beginning but couldn't spend their points would have a chance to get something.

That would have been better, but they held it off at first to make it fair to international members, then just kept delaying it month after month. I'd have close to 2000 (haven't watched all the PLAY videos yet) if they would have held off and if I would have been able to not try for/redeem anything, and it would look pretty nice from there.

No announcements yet, but with PLAY launching and the item prices going up, it could be within the next two or three months. PLAY just kind of came out of nowhere, so launch could as well.
 
Yea, to people complaining about increases in prices, it was actually supposed to happen a WHILE back. And some things are still reasonably priced. Like if what that guy said is true, about prizes being in stock all the time, you could get about 4 Wii's a year. I don't know about you, but to a college student like me, that sounds awesome! But with lockerz, there is always a catch, so it is probably too good to be true.
 
i doubt it too. at least not for a long time. with at least 90-95% of the people not currently being able to redeem, their points are just piling up. when (if?) the site launches, they're going to get swamped with orders. and i doubt they'll be able to keep up. or they'll do something like wipe everyones points before launch, which will piss everyone off.
 
no lag this time, but games were literally gone within 2 minutes~ everyone using greasemonkey script so they can complete redeem in less than 10seconds =/ there were still a lot of other things left though at 5minutes mark
