I was literally on Lockerz when the redemption went live and still got nothing. I got the stupid "please enter your phone number" error message again (and yes I had my phone number) and of course all the games were out in seconds. Didn't stick around to see if anyone redeemed the DVD's.

Wow.. I was gonna try to get the 200 ptz for the spring fling, but I had no idea that they raised the prices. Well whatever. I'm starting to slowly not even go to the site anymore.
 
Anyone else feel like this redemption is a slap in the face? Basically those that have been loyal and keeping up with the site now have harder time getting into the redemption, than those who have visited the site casually or not at all. I had watched all the Play videos up until the announcement made last night, so probably the only way I can get into the redemption now is to send out tons of invites. Thanks Lockerz!

Honestly, it really doesn't affect me though, because I'm planning to save up for a PS3. Just annoys me, that's all.

Yeah, I've "watched" all of the play videos already so I'm in the same boat as you. The only way I could get 200 points in the time frame they're providing is to invite a bunch of people, and I can't really be bothered to try and do that. Besides, I think an influx of new users is the last thing this site needs right now, they're already swamped as it is. They should be figuring out ways to effectively handle their current user base instead of trying to get more people in.

Yea, I have been a member of Lockerz since July and only have 425 points right now. Mostly because I have only visited the site once a week since December. I just felt it was not worth it anymore. I just want to get a game and be done with it. I don't want to bother people sending out invites, if they asked me about it then I would tell them. During the redemption in September I received a confirmation that I redeemed a game, but then had it canceled since my account was mistakenly targeted as fraud (never got the points credited back). Even though I had not even invited anyone at that point. I was going to take a picture of the game and post it, hoping to get invites that way, but that did not work out. I just hope they go to a general 24/7 redemption sooner than later.

I have watched some of the videos, but one of three would give me points. The others would say I can only watch once or give not message and no points.
 
Yea, PLAY is glitching pretty badly. Also, it makes no sense, they just got off the international competition where everyone was racing for points by watching play videos, so getting 200 will be hard to do, unless they add alot more play videos, which I am not certain they will do.

Did you ever e-mail them about it? You should of atleast gotten your points back.
 
Hmm. Well, I didn't bother watching videos since I knew the US wouldn't get to redeem anyway. Shouldn't be too hard earning enough to at least have a chance I guess.

I emailed them a few times. They said they would be credited back. A week later I said they were not and said it was strange and would talk to the tech support about it. Never heard back and no points, I emailed a month later asking about it, but never received a response.
 
462 right now. Is there a running total? I haven't watched many PLAY videos either, but I've basically invited everyone I need to.

Agree with everyone here that they should put their efforts into banning cheaters/bots and making redemptions more fair for everyone.

I managed to watch all those daily videos they had last night. Got 200+ from just those videos alone. Mind you, I'm z-list, so I got 8ptz for every video.
 
I got ~120 points from the videos they put up, so I've still got a bit to go. I refuse to spam my referral link, though...so unless they add enough videos to get me to 200 in combination with dailies and login points I won't be getting in on this redemption.
 
Started with around 420 points and now am up to 773+ by watching videos and still have quite a few to go.
 
They added enough videos today to get me to 200, but considering that I imagine this redemption will go just as fast as any other. I'm not expecting to be able to redeem the Ratchet & Clank PSP bundle, but I'm going to try anyways.
 
Well they're doing double PTZ for the weekend as well, so basically everyone's going to get 200 PTZ. I suppose that's one way to get people to watch the stuff (and line their pockets with all the ads).
 
Just curious, how many people watched most/all of the videos for PLAY? I only watched maybe 10-15 during play, since I figured the US team would lose anyways, and so now, I've had about 200 videos to watch, which ends up being around 1600 ptz... So now, here's both sides of the argument...

Price increase really doesn't hurt too much if you haven't really been keeping up with play. I went from 8xx ptz to 2300 ptz now, meaning a 360 or iTouch 32 gig isn't out of reach.

BUT.... Having it be a little easier to get those prizes (since double ptz is lasting five days now)... There could be another price increase. I'm not saying that for sure or anything, but that is just pure speculation. If they are going to have items up 24/7 at these prices, some of the items aren't really out of reach... But, then again, it could be that this is just luck from holding off. What am I trying to say? If these prices stay, the increase was not as big a deal as it is made out to be. Regardless, the pricing system is really screwed up at this point.

Help1 and I have always been opposed on Lockerz, but I shall say I am going to reserve my judgement until we start getting more details. I will say again, though, that we honestly don't have much information at all, unfortunately.

I think I "watched" them all the day Play started. And now I currently have all the points from the videos they have up.

After actually getting the PSP I redeemed, I'm going all out for more.

Saying we get no info is an understatement at this point, they barely send any updates to us. The whole LAB thing is kind of a joke.

As much as I supported Lockerz throughout the months, this is exactly why it is great and horrible at the same time. Getting enough ptz for a PSP is not hard at all... But the redemptions are still extremely horrendous... I haven't even tried participating in the last few (including the international one for obvious reasons...) but I think they should either figure out some way of giving away prizes without a redemption (contests or something along those lines) and wait until they can start trying to power to launch, or do a US redemption one month and an International redemption the next month, just to make it a little easier.

I had "watched" nearly all of the videos before the US/International race was started, actually. So when this double point shenanery was announced I was a little irritated because I didn't have anything to watch and I'm not really a fan of spamming invite offers to people. Luckily, they added a lot of videos, but that also made it so practically everybody will qualify for the redemption.

I'm sitting on 1104 points right now, which is more than enough for the only prize I'm really interested in (Ratchet PSP Bundle), and even more so for a PC game as a fallback option. though, as per usual, I'm sure I'll need a miracle to even be able to load the site once the redemption goes live.

I think stability for redemption has really improved, but it's also a back and forth thing... I've had one redemption where I had no problem getting in and redeeming, but another (February possibly?) that was a bit screwy... Hopefully a few CAGs are able to claim a prize this month, but I really hope they narrow it down a little more than "before the end of the month".

Although I am still a bit annoyed that I missed out on a ton of points, but at least they added a bunch this week. Personally, I'm not too worried about this redemption as I'm saving up for a PS3. I'll just be pissed if they increase the prices again, right when I get enough for the PS3. 1000 to go!
 
I just joined today and have 216 ptz, so I'm in on the redemption, but I still want to get at least 200 more before it so I can try for Bad Company 2. Hopefully, there are enough videos on the site to even reach 400...

If you just joined, then there should be enough videos to reach 800+ points. That is taking into account the double points weekend though.

I was reading the discussion about Lockerz and i found some LAB members on there r still in high school....the lab team is kind of a joke.

Im really Reaching To Get Modern Warfare 2 For This Spring Fling Redemption . . .and Personally I Think This Redemption Should Be Usa's Redemption For The Simple Fact That International Had Their Redemption Already So It's Only Right That We Get Our Own Redemption!!

Alright, I'm a complete noob when it comes to Lockerz, and the website seems to do a pretty good job of keeping things extremely vague. So I have a couple questions for my fellow CAGs...

How does a Redemption work? What are my chances of actually winning something? For example, I have 404 ptz at the moment. What are the odds of me getting Bad Company 2?

Honestly, you have a VERY slim chance of getting anything, especially on your first redemption.

There are 2 ways Lockerz does its redemption.

1. (The Prefered Way) They will give everyone a time that the redemption(s) will take place, at that time thousands of people from around the world looking for free prizes will attack the website.
a. They will put everything up on time and the site will be nearly impossible to get onto. Everything will be gone within a minute or two and only hackers and a few lucky people will redeem anything.
b. They will push back the time of the redemption for atleast an hour, until the site traffic goes down. When it goes live the site will get attacked again, everything will be gone within a minute or two and only the hackers, and a few lucky people will get anything.

2. (The way it's most likely going to be) Lockerz will say that the redemption will happen sometime today (or week/month) and you will have to sit on your computer all day refreshing (which you cant do to much of or they accuse you of cheating) until the redemption is up. When it goes live the site will get attacked, everything will be gone within a minute or two and only the hackers, and a few lucky people will get anything.
